Trying to collect debt from AT&T

This is just another collection company - they are not calling on behaff of AT & T or claim to be your new accout representative.  These collection agencies are given 90 days to collect.  After 90 days and they have received zero it goes on to another company and so on and so forth.  The collection agency gets 50% of what they collect from you. And towards the end of the 90 days to collect well then bargin with them they will LOWER it down.

LOL. I spoke to Ms. Wilson as well.  I told her on several occasions that we had a release BUT the fax she continued to give out DOES NOT WORK!!  So I just emailed her the release and I hope NEVER to hear from her again.   Remember these company's get paid 50% of your outstanding balance.  They are given 90 days to collect for you - towards the end of their 90 days if the bill was $6000.00 they will lower the amount any where from $3,200 to  $2,500.  This is money the company has already written off.  So don?t let them scare you !!

I ended up having to tell this mrs wilson lady to go f*** herself.  Very rude people.  Claimed I owe $20K... INSANE

Man has left two messages. Spoke with him once. Very rude. Trying to collect on an AT&T account. After trying to explain he has the wrong number, he continues to talk over me stating that "he will collect this debt". Filed a police report locally and also gave information to AT&T Business for possible fraud investigation.

Called 3 times before 1 pm today. Left no message In addition, I called the number back and it stated it was the Alliant Law Group. Message said it was attempt to collect a debt and to please wait to be transfered to a representative,after 4 times of the call being dropped finally a man picked up the line and said they are based out of San Diego, CA and Atlanta,Georgia. He began yelling at me demanding my name. He stated he will not fill out a questionier with out knowing my information first. Then he stated he works for AT&T collections. After repeating my questions through his screaming he hung up.

This is not a collections group for AT&T. Additionally, if they say they represent Alliance Law Group, it is a lie.

They have been calling our business, twice a day. They never leave a message.
When I'm at my desk, I see that they only let my phone ring two rings.
Then they stop. If I answer on the first or second ring they disconnect anyway.
I called them. Their computer answers Alliance Law Group. They were looking for
a business, and someone I never heard of. They said they would remove our
phone number from their auto dialer. I also explained to them that they need to fix
their auto dialer. They are not going to accomplish any thing by dialing some ones
phone number for two rings, and then disconnecting..........

Called twice today without leaving a voice mail. Not sure who they are.
