I got a call from this guy on my cell phone asking if I had a trailer for sale but I don't own a trailer.

Got a car from "Mark" at this number. Calling to verify if I was still selling my vehicle.  

Thanks to this site, I also won't be calling him back either.

I received a call from Mark today also asking the same thing about a car I have on Autotrader. Sounds fishy.

I also got a call from a Mark who wanted to know if the vehicle was still available and if the price had changed (I posted on craigslist).  I posted my ad in the Tulsa area and the guy had a New England accent.  Not even close to being a legitimate buyer.

Thanks ya'll I won't be calling "Mark" back either. Have a car listed on Autotrader.

Just got a VMl from "Mark" who was inquiring about a car I have for sale in Auto Trader.. he wanted to verify price... etc.

Pamela just called and wants to know if my car is still for sale!  Not gonna call her - not gonna do it - wouldn't be prudent!

I just received a call from "Pamela Wallace". I hate scams. Right away I could tell it was fake.  She sounded as if she was reading from a script and there was so much background noise it sound like she was in a warehouse. I googled the number and this page came up. Thanks to all who posted. HELP FIGHT SCAMMERS!

Also got this Pamela person supposedly interested in my item on CL, Thanks to all the posts on here, I knew what was up. So I called back and left her know we would be posting this and reporting her to CL and anyone else we could think of!!  Thanks again to all!!

Called twice, chicks name was Pamela,always always type in the phone number to Google, great sites like this pop up and warn people. She called back today, I told her to go scam someone else,get a real job you F*&$@n Who^%..Thanks for the heads up...

I just got a call and tried to call back - of course, I got a message. I then looked at this site! OMG! I have been unemployed for 4 months and need the money from my craigslist post. But I would rather be out of work than work in the kind of scam these people run. I was really hoping someone out there was going to look at my truck, only to have scammers call. Thanks for your site!

Pamela Wallis called asking if I had my Chevy Express still for sale. Left this phone number. Thank you folks, for posting this. I won't be calling back! By the way, my ad is in Carsoup.com.
It sounded like she was in a warehouse making the call. Echo sounds.

Recieved two voicemail messages from "Pamela Wallace" from this number inquiring about a car I'm selling and is it still available, she couldn't even pronounce the make or model of the car correctly leading me to believe she's definitely not looking to buy the car.

Same deal for me.  She said she represented eBay and would get me my asking price for my Porsche in 30 days from parters such as banks.

I got a call from this number.  They claimed they were buying cars through e-bay.  Wanted my Mercedes.  Asked about the condition and how I came up with the price.  I told them I was not interested.

Thanks for this post.  I have a auto listed in Auto Trader magazine and just received a call from April. When I called the customer service number they answered HME Enterprises.  When I did a search for this name, I found this post.  Except the numbers were different - 800-576-1640 and 877-544-4592.

Anyway, thanks for taking the time to post this to save some of us the trouble with Scams.

I too received call from this Misty "person" to whome I won't be calling back. Hey Misty, if your reading this, how bout leaving people alone unless you plan to buy what it is they are selling! How do you find the time to annoy people outside your day job. I'll bet you go door to door selling magazines out of a passenger van in your spare time. What a joke these people are. I had the same thing happen during a sale of a motor coach, all promising a sale w/prospective buyers...ya right, what a scam. I'd recommend avoiding these "jokes" at all cost.

Misty called and asked about a bike that I have listed in Craigslist. She complained about leaving a message on my husbands phone and not getting a return phone call. I tried to explain to her that we had to change the phone number in the ad because my husband has since been sent to Iraq. She was rude and talked over me responding "thats neither here nor there." She then asked me why we dropped the price, I told her because we have been using the bike and it is due to the higher mileage. She responded "the price is plush for this bike" and then asked me if I had thought about other marketing ideas and claimed she worked for Specialty Bikes. Their customer service line says HME Enterprises. These people are very rude and it sounds like a scam. Be very careful if they call you.

If these ppl are calling after looking on Craigslist or in Auto Trader mags, just about bet they are trying to scam. A friend got a call and they even went as far as to try the old trick of sending a cashiers check for $5000 MORE then they were asking. The guy kept calling demanding they deposit the check and send the balance back to him.  The local Sherriff now has all that info, including the bogus check. Please be careful!

Had a call/message from Misty asking if I still had my motorhome for sale.  She left her number to call her back at her "office".  She talked like she forgot the number.  Started it and stopped then started again.  I didn't call back after reading these reports.

Call from Misty, Asked if I still had my bike for sale thats listed on Craigslist. Did not call back, Im assuming this is Autorader or some sort of publishing company strumming for business.

Just had a call from this Brandon guy last night.  I was in the middle of explaining the piece of equipment when I lost connection.  He asked the price and then we got disconnected.  Who does he work for?

A guy named Brandon called looking for some equipment.  He asked if we were a dealership then just hung up.  This guy is a jerk.

A guy name Brandon call just to cursed me out for no reason.
