I'm quite curious as to how they've got my number. I just signed up for an account with S&T Bank three days ago (no other new accounts of any kind in the past three months or so), and all of a sudden I'm getting all sort of phone calls... What have all of you signed up for? Or is it just a coincidence in my case?

Just got the same text message! I decided to check it out here because they didn't capitalize my name! Weird how the little things matter. I'm glad I didn't call!

I just got the same text message others are saying they got, it sounded too good to be true, I'm glad I checked it out before calling.

got the text stated above to my name... came to check this out first, then i called and asked to get unsubscribed... he sounded like he didnt care so i called back on restricted and messed with this guy... oh well.

i received the same thing. icalled back to tell them to take me off the list and was hung up on.

I received a call from the number on my sale phone and it said HI ___< thanks for visiting our site. Call 877-233-4972 to claim your Free $200 Gift voucher to Wallmart! What I suggest is that you CHECK your Credit Card Statement to see if you have been charged people are desperate and go to great lengths to steal whatever little we all may have.  Please note this number is Remote call forwarded to INDIA.  IT IS A SCAMM.

I called them back, they hung up. I called them again, got some guy I could barely understand his English. What I could make out was that my husband signed up for something on our marketing sight, and his number was picked for the free voucher.

SCAM!!!

ask me all the sam thing so i ask him how smart he was tolled him to figure this out and preceded to give him my (card number) lol 4638 2596 8773 5837 see if they know what i sad. love this

I got the same txt message... however I wonder, if you txt back to the number that says to unsub that you get hit with fees on your cell bill?? I just deleted the txt but might want to be careful on that too!

These people will have to pay HUGE fines if we complain to FCC.gov & ftc.gov (one or both of those).
I know for a fact I'm on the national do not call list!

I received this call yesterday from a person with an Indian accent that said i won $200 walmart giftcard and he says that i have to pay $4.95 shipping and handling, yeah right if i won something then why am i paying after i said no thank-you, he hung up on me. SCAM!!!!

hmph. i've gotten so many scam messages like this i don't usually even bother checking to see if they're scams. i just delete the messages. but i'm curious if I should text STOP or not. they shouldn't have any info on me, as i have never given out my card number. perhaps they're trying to scare us into texting STOP so they can hit us with a fee?

They seemed legit at first. They said that I won $200 in Walmart Vouchers. And that I didn't have to sign up for their company(whatever that was). But then they asked for my credit card number to pay for shipping. Nooo thank you!

I just got the same thing today.  I'm glad I checked it out first before calling.

I returned th etext message saying you have the wrong guy, I'm not Gerald.

I called them back on this number. They are saying my number got selected for this gift card and I need to sign up for two of their services. I asked what kind of services they provide and their answer is that they protect your home.
He is saying its a service protection for appliances. And they are located in Phoenix, AZ. I asked if they have any local branches in other states but he is saying he is not authorized to tell that. Then I noticed that this is not a genuine service and asked him to remove my number from the list.

I called and was told that I was drawn from a survey from being at Walmart.  There would only be a $9.90 charge to my card to cover shipping and handling and I would receive a $200 gift card in return.  Didn't seem right to pay for something I apparently won.  I wouldn't give them my card number!

how can we report this scam?

I got a text msg saying "Hi Doreen, Thank you for visiting our site...." and that I had won a $200 gift card from Wal-Mart.  I called and gave the gift code# then I asked if they were part of or affiliated with Wal-Mart, I could not understand her and she kept putting me off.  I thought...Oh no, I called one of those out of the country #'s that charge you thousands of dollars and I hung up!

got the same call about the wal mart card. I had my father look up the Business, after he couldn't find it he called the # and a man answered in  an american voice, after my dad asked for home protective services the man suddenly got Indian in accent.
