This number is a legit TD number confirmed by TD's official Twitter account. You can search for this number in Twitter to see TD's tweets confirming it. Myself I've called this number and they required personal information for security and identification purposes, but I said that I did not want to give away further personal information (I already gave my phone number and name) because I wasn't sure if they were really TD so they said they would call me instead and that way I won't have to give them any personal information. They called me back and they just asked when I was going to pay my due and I didn't have to give any further info.

I have been getting numerous calls and messages from that number for the past days claiming it's TD. I am a customer of TD so it's possible. I wanted to call TD but I don't have the patience to go through half an hour of automated message systems to find out if this a legit number. In any case I told them a while ago not to contact me by phone so it shouldn't be TD. Very obnoxious calls and a clutter in my voice mail. Always a different voice btw so definitely a call center of some sorts.

Just got another call from them.  Again, I never even had anything to do with TD Canada.  I've thought about opening an account with them before but not now.

Well I don't even have any business with TD, never have, and they keep calling me.

I received a call/ message they are claiming to be Canada Post as well.

This number is legit and comes from TD Canada Trust Collection department.

This is not a scam and i don't understand why people say that.

I decided to call them back (scammers) and asked them who the hell they were and why they were calling me repeatedly, to which they simply answered they worked for TD late fees and that the employee I spoke to perhaps wasn't aware of them. I then asked what the name of their company was and he said it was confidential. What a load of bull. As if TD kept its own employees in the dark about their partners and even the superiors wouldn't be aware. I'm just so pissed off, they keep harassing me with they f****ng incessant calls and every god damn time I decide to answer there is no one on the other side. Yet, they leave 20+ messages in my voicemail. This is even worse than internet spam..

Just hung up with TD Customer service, she checked with her superior and confirmed that the number has nothing to do with TD Canada Trust. Don't answer, just report them.

I just got a call from them on my cell phone, and I'm not even a TD customer.  I missed the call and then looked up the unfamiliar number.

When I picked up a phone call, it is a computer's voice saying "...TDTrust..", then they hung up my phone.
It has been like this several times per day and it is tortured...

Confirming it is TD Canada Trust. Number is legit, information given to me was indeed right and my bank confirmed it was legit.

That's funny. I received the call and yet I have no affiliation (cards, accounts) with TD whatsoever.

Well, idk about other pple, but all of my bills are paid on time, and they're still harrassing my phone! It's SOO annoying! If it is TD who do i call to make it stop? and if it's a scam, how do I make it stop?

Only need to pay your bill on time and they will not call you :) simple.

it is TD, its not a fraud or spam

its the COLLECTIONS department.
if you dont answer and you avoid this number they will continue calling until eventually take what you have in your bank account.

They call us at least 5 times per day since 3 weeks. I called my rep at td and she said that this numbers doest appear in their internal phone number. This must be a scam. Do not give any information of your personnal acoounts to this number. BE AWARE !

I got the same thing. They have been calling for the last 3 days, 5 or 6 times a day. Twice, a live person left a message saying to call them back. Other times, it is a recording asking to call them. One time, it said please hold on, a representative will be with you shortly, and it hung up.

I called TD Canada Trust, and it is not onr of their numbers. They said it was probably some kind of scam because they would arrass their customers like that.

I got 2 phone calls from them tonight (around 8 pm). Once I picked up and it disconnected, the other time there was a phone message that says TD Canada Trust. Although I am a TD customer, I have requested not to receive phone calls from them, so it probably is a scam, as happen more and more...

Not according to TD Canada Trust it's not... I call TD to check. Use the number on the back of your card, NOT the number these scammers leave you.
