I received an email response from my email to USBank yesterday with a link to USBank, but the link showed
that was an invalid link. USBank said they don't send links to avoid fraud. Can you tell me if that was a gliche or error or fraud?
Thank you,
Gail Gum

This same text message just came across our cell phone just minutes ago. I called and the number is not working. So came on-line and found this page. What is going on?? There is no ID other than what the text message says. This is an account for my child support.

I received the same text message. I called US Bank and they told me to report it to Fraudhelp@usbank.com It is not a legitimate message from USBank.

THIS IS A PHISH CALL- I called the number and a recording prompted me to enter my account number. I entered a random number and then it asked for my expiration date. Again I entered a random number. Then it asked for my PIN.
Again I gave it a random number. The information that was asked for is everything that a thief would want. No bank would ever ask for this via an automated call. I do not bank with US Bank.

I received a text message from this # at 7pm on s Sunday evening. It said to call immediately to unrestrict my card. I called the #, got a recording asking for my card #. Mistakenly, I fell for this & entered my card #, then it asked for my PIN, that is when I realized this was not right---nobody asks for a PIN #. I hung up immediately. The following morning I tried the # again, thinking I would get a human voice & I got a recording that the number was not in service. This is really scary!!

Looks like the number is finally shut down, unfortunately the hacker(s) probably just moved on to another number. I would like to think we all had something to do with getting this number shut down!
Beware, beware, beware.

Turns out the number may be supported by Teliax.com. Teliax is a voip provider and needs to pay better attention to their users. According to 9news.com, this scam was recognized over 9 days ago. Why the heck is it still active. See http://www.9news.com/news/local/article.aspx?storyid=111725. If anyone did enter their number, I would suggest you also call the main credit bureus and put a fraud alert on your accounts. It is free at experian. https://www.experian.com/consumer/cac/InvalidateSession.do?code=SECURITYALERT
And if you are not comfortable adding personal information via web page you can call Experian at 1 888 EXPERIAN (1 888 397 3742).
(I just did some web checking, I hope it helps someone.)

Since the owner of the 877 number is paying for the call, assuming people do not call from their cell phones, everyone could just keep calling them (not giving any information) causing thier 800 number costs to get cranked up and make them pay....The people then making the $$$ is the long distance company supporting the 877...
