Dont call me from this number or I will call the police to make a report

This is a bill that my ex husband made 8 yrs ago and won't pay it, I have all my divorce papers to show this,
He built a double garage on to his house then we split up and he won't pay it ,he is an electrician and makes good money and I am disabled.  This has been going on around 8 yrs.

Thee is a letter that Howard Clark has put out, It is called the ( drop dead letter)  Check ths out.

This number calls me repeatedly , for some obscure and unknown name. Currently, This month I got a call on Aug 31, Aug 29 , Aug 27, Aug 24, Aug 23, Aug 20, Aug 14, Aug 10, Aug 6, Aug 2. I am sick and tired of being disturbed by this caller. My number is unlisted and I don't know how they got this number.Someone must be paying for this 877-237-1836 and they should be held resonsible for disrupting people's lives. I don't owe anyone money, so naturally this raised concern.
This looks like a classic case of the old "phone scam". Please reply to this comment if you track this person or persons down and want to pursue some legal action. I would gladly come forward. I wish that I had the time to track these screwballs down myself.

i continually get cell phone calls from this number for now more than 6 years. they refuse to accept the fact that i am not the person they are attempting to reach. what can be done?

Called for someone I do not know...I will not call them back but I hope they don't call me again or start pestering.

These are people who prey on the aged and uninformed, the bottom of the barrel scum. I'm certain these are the same who called me a couple of years ago and told me I owed them $1600. The woman could not say what for or when the charge occurred, just that I owed $1600, "Send it to me". Right...is cash okay? I'll mail it out right now. Or better yet, let me give you my Visa Card number. I wouldn't be surprised if the phone number traced back to Nigeria. Sometimes I'll go months without a call, then I'll get several in a week, then they stop. I guess my phone number went back to the bottom of the list, because they couldn't swindle me. A different minimum wage jerk will try again when my phone number comes up again. Sorry, I'm not stupid (yet). Caller ID reads: "Toll Free Call"

husband is on a track phone, so his minutes add up fast. He keeps getting these calls asking for a woman who doesnt live here and we dont know of... The man got smart with husband, told him that he only had this number from April... Husband told him no, you have been calling this number.. Husband then told him about his minutes... The man told my husband to SHUT UP, then it wouldnt cost him the minutes...Husband asked them to remove his number as this is what the recording says to do, if you want removed..The obnoxious man said, that he couldnt do this... What can we now do? We dont know who to contact and the man doesnt say who they are..The man was not foreign , you could clearly understand him...

Called this number today.  Told Dawn I was getting calls for person who used to have my phone number.  She was very pleasant and thanked me for calling and said she would remove my number from her list.  Hope it works!  I had to unplug my phone before I went to sleep last night so I wouldn't be awakened bright and early.

Changed my phone number last week cause I was getting calls from collectors several times a day looking for the guy I bought my house from 4 years ago.  Now, I'm getting someone else's collection calls.  Today, a recorded voice asked if I was Howard H. _________.  (I'm not.  He's probably a guy who changed his phone number to stop the collector's calls).  As soon as I heard that person's name, I hung up.  I wish I could somehow be assigned to a phone number that didn't used to belong to someone who owes for bills.

They keep calling asking for some named ??? and I siad not to call here agian

Have been receiving calls from Van Ru Credit Corporation regarding an alleged unpaid Master Card debt. I have never had a Master Card, ever. When I told the man from Van Ru that, he said, "That doesn't matter, you owe the debt." I told him, "I have no contract with you under the UCC" and told him not to call again. Then, I discovered their corporate email address: corporate@vanru.com and sent them an email requesting full disclosure of the alleged debt...no response by email; but got another phone call via my answering machine which I ignored. My next step will be to contact my State's attorney general and the FTC regarding this fraudulent nuisance.

They continue calling me and I do not answer anymore.  I do  not know why they call.  They asked my social ssecurity number so they would tell me why they are calling.

This is obviously a SCAM. I've received several of this variety of call, from differing numbers. If you LISTEN, you will hear: "Send me your money". It doesn't matter if it's for a Chrysler or condoms, they just want your money. I got a call from this number today, but it was an automated system that used an odd permutation of my name and said if your are not .... please hang up now, so I did. IF, they call back, I may use a more direct approach. My family was once PLAGUED by a woman from Monkey Wards, after I had been injured and could not pay on my account (I had their "deferred payment insurance", but it wouldn't pay as I wasn't permanantly disabled). She told my wife that they would TAKE OUR HOME and CPS would TAKE OUR CHILDREN, because we would not be able to house them. It took some doing, but I got HER on the line. She was very nice and polite to ME. We made small talk till I found out where her office was and then, I told her if she EVER called my family again, I would come there and "hurt" (I used another word) her. "THEY" (Monkey Wards) never called or wrote again and the I had the "stain" removed from my credit record, quite easily.

On September 26, 2011, the State of Minnesota's Department of Commerce entered into a consent order with Van Ru Credit Corporation. Mike Rothman, the Commissioner of Commerce (hereafter the Commissioner), alleged that Van Ru Credit Corporation failed to establish adequate screening procedures when hiring individual collector applicants, failed to properly screen debt collector registrations before submitting license renewal requests to the Commissioner, employed three collectors with felony criminal backgrounds, and failed to notify the Commissioner of at least 15 employee terminations for verbally abusing debtors, using profanity, and third party disclosure violations.

In response to these charges, Van Ru Credit Corporation has taken corrective action, including establishing new procedures to strengthen their screening process, submitting that screening process to the Commissioner for review, subjecting all current debt collectors to that screening process, and establishing auditing procedures and agency policies to ensure that criminal convictions of its debt collectors are promptly reviewed and acted upon.

Van Ru Credit Corporation has also been ordered to pay a civil penalty of $65,000.

They have been calling several times a week for about 6 months.  I just recently found out about this from my wife, who is home more often than I.

They say they are trying to reach a person with an oriental-sounding name I am unfamiliar with.  I am not sure how they got this number, as we have had it for over 3 years.

I have called back multiple times requesting they stop calling our number, but cannot reach a live person, and the messages I leave for them are apparently ignored.

I just got a call, but I don't answer unknown callers.

I am getting calls from a debt collection company, I have no debt.  I can not understand the Indian dialect and can not understand the number he is saying.  I tried every variation and finally found this site.  I thought he said it was Monroe Credit Corp., but it could be Van Ru Credit Corporation. Would really like to be able to understand the English language message they leave, oh wait....it's a foreign person with a bad American accent!!!!

Once again received a call concerning my credit. However, I do not owe anything or have a liability, and much less to Chrysler Corporation... I have never driven or purchase any of Chrysler product of any kind.

This number has been calling my place of business, same with the rest of you, no one says anything.
Today, I was fed up, I  called the number back. The lady who answered said they were looking for an employee "John Smith". I laughed and told her that her company needs to lose our number. We will see.

I received call on my cell phone from 877-237-1836, and I don't have any outstanding debt with Chrysler. In fact, all my bills are paid-up to-date. If so, don't call me again...

These guys are retarded. They start calling every morning at 7:59 which pisses us off because my husband works nites. They never leave a message.

Repeated calls w/no information regarding the "debt" I supposedly owed. (NONE).  I called back-got a machine--asked for my SS#.  (Not given).

More calls--called back--got a nice-enough person.  Asked for the last 4 digits of my SS# after verifying my telephone number.  They had it wrong, apologized, and promised my name would be removed.  We'll see.

I have excellent credit, nothing overdue and it's a scam.  Got a recording--asked for my SS#.  Right.

We do not have any outstanding debts.  Could barely understand the foreign accent of the person calling.  We do not intend to return the call.

Maybe we people don't really owe these people that are trying to collect. smart A**. And what are you doing on this web site? Maybe they called you because you owed a bill.

Its starting to piss me off because they keep caling me looking for some lady that I don't even know and before I've gotten calls from "cops" and people who give away a free cruise looking for the same lady
