Oh I forgot they said they ran my name through NCIC and they called my sisters cell phone not mine.

877-239-3729 just called me and said they were representing C&G corp which is Check and Go. Said they sent out a summons 14 days ago to an address I haven't lived at in 5 years and said I had 1 hour to pay 695.76 or the police would be sent to my home and I would spend 90 days in jail. When I tried to explain to him  I didn't have a job he said well then have fun spending 90 days in jail.

Just got the same call I'm in no legal trouble and they won't give me any details just basic info I call bs!

Telling me they tried contacting me and sending notices 30 times regarding an important legal matter for a 3rd degree felony. They were rude and hung up on me. Interesting, never received a notice in the mail.

Yes. These scam calls are becoming stupid and boring. Do these guys think that Americans are that dumb to fall for such a stupid prank?  I think the best thing to do is to hang up on them.  

I just got another call from this number scam scam scam! Now its an automated system when you call back some chick who talks hard name Anna picks up the phone talks like she got something stuck up her butt.  Stand up to them call the cops.

I just started getting phone calls today but a voice mail came on.  Im gonna change my number.  Sick of scams!!  Well the Feds need to get involved.

Just got a call from 877-239-3729 but they didn't leave a message. After reading these comments I will be blocking my number. A year ago I was scammed by a company who called me and said they where going to file a judgement against me and that it would be a felony reported to my record and me being ignorant and not educating myself on what bill collectors can do gave them my account number and they were deducting $100 from my account every two weeks and as soon I educated myself I changed my account numbers but they were still able to get $400 from me. Never again. If someone calls you demanding money tell them to send you some correspondence, if they are legit they will. They will insist on you giving them your information but don't be a fool, don't give them anything!!!

I just been scam by the same number and they got $325.00 out of me today!!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT????? PLEASE SOMEONE ADVISE ME!!

UPDATE: I called this company back and demanded their full address. Then I turned right around an called the tampa fl police department. They looked up all the info as well as called the number, and told me to change my number. It's a SCAM! Words straight from the police officer.

I got a call from this number the other day and try we're demanding money. My husband gave them a prepaid debit card number just to get them to leave us alone. I've googled this number, called the better business bureau, and even got my brother involved ( who is a detective specializing in financial fraud) and it all points back to the same thing. SCAM! I tried calling them back to demand their business license number and its all automated. When it does finally ring, it rings four or five times then goes to a voicemail saying "the person you are trying to reach, is on the phone." I called every 30 minutes from 3pm til 10:30pm last night and it was always the same thing. No answer! Do not give them any info! They will tell you they have your address and place of employment but deny it! Don't let them win!!! ALWAYS demand a business license number and check it out before you give out any info!!

I just received two calls within a few hours I don't know who they are because I didn't answer but they don't even leave messages. I've looked up to see if I can figure out who they are and seems like no one knows. So I'm just going to block this number cause I had issues in the past with scam artists and after I changed my number I thought it would stop. I don't know how they got my new number.

I got a call from 877-239-3729 on both my cell phone & at my job. They told me to call back the number & give them the reference number they left me. Said they were going to serve me papers at either my house or job. I've Googled the number but have no idea who this is. I've had calls from them in the past...but it comes up as a restricted number on my phone. The calls have all been from people that I can barely understand cause their English isn't very good or the call is a very bad connection.
I may owe money to someone.. but I'm kind of scared to call them. They don't give me any info on the message that they leave except to call them back & give them a reference number.

Omg I just got a call from the same person!! It is a scam...they called me last year and I told them they are a scam and they stopped...until now.  Do not give any information to them!! We need to have them reported!!

This is a scam.  If the company really does have a claim against you they would have gone to court already.  when the caller tells you we want to give you a chance to prevent this from happening,tell them no take me to court I want to meet face to face. Do not give them any information or verify anything, even if they tell you the right info about yourself deny it, because they need you to help them sell the scam.  No one is going to come to your house if they do call the cops. Stand up to this pile of trash, they will back down, btw, their next step will be to have someone call you from your local court, this is a trick, call the number back it will be to a fax machine. You can also call the court in your state they have a list of any person on a court docket.  You will not be on it trust me. Fight back!

I had the same thing happen just now. They called me on a completely different number.. left a message and it said something about a felony.. went to call them back at the 877 number. And no one answered.

says they are trying to serve me with papers. Left a number to call back, back track the number and it is to a Trucking company out of Florida.
I called and its said Myeres and Associates. Sounded like a law firm. But the voice mail left says that "I HAVE OFFICIALLY BEEN SERVED.'  yea right. Not legal..Says they will continue to make contact with me. No one answeres the phone, I leave messages. no call backs.

I KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING I OWE THEM MONEY.  i DO NOT OWE THEM MONEY AND THE TREATEN TO COME AND ARREST ME NEVER.  THE WILL NOT SEND ME ANY INFORMATION ON THIS DEBT OR TELL THE THE COMPANY NAME.

I keep getting the same calls and it says they are a law firm.  Obvious scam.  When you call back no one is ever available to answer the phone.  I was going to give them the third degree but no one will call me back.  I have left several voice mails.
