This is a version of the you-have-committed-a-crime extortion scam and you are being...
1. summoned/investigated/charged/whatever with fraud/embezzlement/passing_bad_checks/whatever or
2. served with a court_summons/arrest_warrant/bench_warrant/whatever or
3. located in preparation to_being_served/for_a_lawsuit/to_be_arrested/whatever or
4. sued for cable TV usage that you've been stealing for years or
5. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.

And you have to...
1. call back with your case number or
2. confirm your address/birthdate/SSN/whatever so you can be served or your papers processed or
3. pay $895 now to avoid paying $5,000 in court or
4. whatever stupid crap reasons they will think up next.

Beware extortion scams come in many flavors and they constantly evolve to stay one step ahead of the law.

They called out to my job threating to bring the sheriff out to summons me to court if i dint pay them $850 that I know i dont owe them. Then said i had to pay them now by credit or debit in order to stop the sheriff from coming out on my job. And they had a lady calling pretend ing to be working at a cout but never said what court. I called all the courts in my area and they said they did not have any record of a complaint filed against me.

Unprofessional individuals.  Called various departments, giving out personal information to parties not even connected with the individual who "allegedly" has a debt that they are trying to collect on.  They are so scared, possibly due to their illegal business practices, that they refused to give me their address and had the audacity to call me unprofessional.  If you are going to be in the business of collecting debt, at least have a tinge of tact and respectability with how you conduct business.  You are such a phantom agency that there is absolutely no trace of you on the web except for this site; that in itself speaks volumes to your credibility.

I got the same phone call... Fraud Check...on on on...Am like who is this and he just repeating himself on the phone....Do not give them any info about yourself....

they have been calling and threatening me and saying they were going to charge me with bad check fraud.i have not had a checking account sence 2008.

They have called my cell phone and my work phone and what's funny is they claim they are trying to summons me for a fraud of checks, contracts, etc. and if I don't provide information they will have to take actions against me and serve me my summons. Funny part of it all is when the person leaves a message she left two sturred messages she was reading from a book if you ask me. Along with no court name or justice county...etc....Does not say what court to appear in, what county, who is the plantiff????

It's been about three days and hoping they stop calling!!!!!!

finally got through.  claim they are USC a litigation firm.  still not sure if alleged debt is valid

Got voicemail from someone saying there are fraud cases but not what for.  Have not committed fruad at all.  Have no idea what they're talking about.  Left number 877-242-4535 but have called several times and it just rings busy.  Odd to have that happen if indeed this is legit....
