I totally agree with you.. They want you to use the overdraft but then call and harass you about paying it back.. I told the last RBC rep that called me.. to FO and I will file harassment charges with my cell provider. That slowed them down. Money Hungry SOB's

I know what you mean.. RBC loves to grief you for nothing. That is way I have voicemail. They love to claim they call multiple times.. pure LIES. I am finished with RBC.. They are a nasty bank to deal with.

I dont get it, they give you a courtesy overdraft you use it and pay it back they make a fee and interested on it, yet they call to harrass you to pay it back....f'in stupid in my books,

Thanks for all the talk guys, I switched banks from RBC to CIBC and RBC is calling me non stop. I didnt know it was them until now. They never leave a GD message!!! Oh well they can pay for their own errors

I agree! They scammed me enough! that's why I changed banks! They only take care of the clients with $$$. They are still harassing me for their errors.

Royal Bank Canada...usually because there is an overdraft in the account that needs to be brought up to $0.00. I have a small delinquency of $140.00 since I closed the account 2 years ago...with the interest...it has doubled! Better answer and pay up ...'cause they won't let it go!!!

The RBC have my contact details, including my home number where I can be reached when my cell line is busy/inactive. The mere fact that they aren't trying to reach me at home suggests that 'yes' it is a collection agency.
