Michael Metcalf calls on a robotic call system. Hitting #9 is supposed to let these CLOWNS know they need REMOVE but their message starts all over.  It's a gross violation of the law on how they do business with telemarketing.

this number is a random generated telemarketing number, its used by people for a bit then switched to someone else. im currently getting calls from a process serving company for a girl who i dont even know. they harassed me with 6 other phone numbers all blocked and then called from thsi one.

They keep calling about College assistance even after I told them, I had a Masters degree, was 63 years old and retired.

I guarantee you this outfit will not scam you. Why? Because you have the good sense not to answer the phone for an unidentified caller not matter how many times and no matter what antics they pull. That's the number one, cardinal rule to avoiding telephone scams.

Just yesterday I blocked 877-874-5811, which also seemed to be an education-related scam, according to the Web. I'm wondering if this isn't the same outfit?

They left a short garbled message. That's one of their tricks. You're supposed to get curious trying to figure out what they said, you call back, and once they get your ear, they rope you in.

Some posters here also mentioned gmail. I just canceled one of my gmail accounts a few days ago. I'll cancel the other one today. Maybe Google sold them my information. That's how Google makes its money, which is why you should avoid it. But I never gave Google my phone number.

I want to see these 800 Service companies outlawed. They're the source of most of the telemarketing calls.

If the number that is calling you is:  877-244-9727 they are calling in regards to furthering your education.  Tell them to remove your name and number from their calling list.  If they call you 3 more times (each time tell them to stop calling and remove you from the list), upon the 3rd or 4th call you can report them for harassment and solicitation.

Excellent idea to say that you are the State Attorney General's office and they are being recorded.
I also use, "What is your relationship exactly with Ms/Mr________?  Then I say that they have interrupted a crime seen.  I pretend to talk to other people about not moving the body, etc.  They hang up really, really fast!

On 9-29-2011 at 3pm I got a call from 877-244-9727.  When I asked who was calling he said, "I am from the Online College board."  I told him to remove my contact info and to NOT call me again!
This was totally unsolicited on my part.

Got a call from this number and when I pick up, no body spoke.

This guy just called me 3 times in a matter of 10 minutes. Told me it was about getting an online degree. i told him I already had one and didn't need his services. He still keeps calling.

Just like other people reported. They called but no one in another side. When finally talked, their English is so bad I can't understand. call 4 to 5 times a day. STOP......

Interesting... I got a call on my cell from this number. I got on my office phone and called it back. I got a recording saying that the number is no longer in service. Wonder how that works?????

Get a metal whistle and put it on your keychain.  The next time they call, give them a blast.  Do so each time this number calls you.  Any any other numbers asking for your child by name.  Her friends certainly know how to reach here without calling a parent, so anyone calling your cell for her is a scammer and deserves anything you care to give them.

I got four calls today: 11:21am, 11:39am, 12:06pm, and 12:20pm. I called back and it said the number was "invalid". I then Googled the number and came across this site. As I was reading other comments, the number called again. (1:28pm). I answered to an Indian man who was asking if I was Alexa. After replying yes, he told me that he was from CollegeDegree something or rather. I then just hung up, and I'm hoping the obnoxious calls will come to an end.

This number called me and tell were talking to me about education stuff. I don't want to receive any more any kind of calls in matter of education. I'm with PhD degree from my home country and don't care any more about this. If i want more- I'll find what I'm looking for...

I got a call on my cell phone, the first thing I asked this Ram-Jam curry guy was how did he get my number? He said I had applied for some sort of educational system. I told him I was retired and invited him to have sex and travel. (Awfy polite).

This number has started calling me 3 - 5 times a day on my cell. I just put them on the reject list so it doesn't even ring anymore. Get a life whoever you are!!!!!
