posted the last message, Just got it again from 3553 with different text:
"Three-Rivers-FCU-Limited"
I don't have a card or bank account through Three Rivers, which is a local credit union.
Out of curiosity I called from Skype. This is a phishing operation. The voice on the other end is computer generated. There is no identifying information as to what company this is. My guess is that whoever is behind this is choosing bank/credit union names from large/well known banks based upon the area code/exchange numbers.
I used a fake credit card number off this site
http://www.darkcoding.net/credit-card-numbers/
The call wanted the expiration date and pin number. I made up some numbers and received confirmation prompts plus a
"Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter."
DO NOT GIVE THIS YOUR INFORMATION. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER.
Tmobile's sms portal has likely been compromised by hackers. For how long, who knows.

Received the same text just moments ago and searched google to find this page on 11-18-2009.
tx@tmomail.net. . Three-Rivers-Card-Limited .Call 8772481329
Sender 3673
Scam? Not sure, Spam, most definitely. Usually I only get the occasional "buy a new blackberry"/other overpriced phone&service SPAM from Tmobile.

same thing - I called the number from a blocked business line and it appears to be wanting you to re-activate some credit card. Starting to sound very much like a scam to me. I have never had a credit card from Texas Credit U Limited.
