This is First Choice Power. They've been calling me twice a day everyday for over a week. When I answer the phone there's no response and I just hang up. Today I called the number back and told them to take my number off their list. Hopefully they'll stop.

I changed phone and Internet service last week from Charter to ATT U-Verse.  I now have a new phone number and am getting daily phone calls, not from friends, families, or doctors.  One was from some attorney's office and they were calling a felon and telling him to get in touch with them or else.  I called them and they removed the number from their records.  I absolutely love call blocking!  Just got a call from this number a few minutes ago.  I did update my do not call registry but I've never thought that is useful anyway.

Just moved in and got a new number assigned to us.  They call and then no one is there.  They keep calling on the hour.... very anouying!  Someone needs to make them stop!

they are telemarketers who try to con people into switching to their service provider.
if you talk to a human person, tell them to take your number off their list, they have to comply by FCC rules.
otherwise,if it's a pre-recorded robotic sounding voice, just hang up

telemarketers called again this afternoon.
wrong number
problems occur when phone companies recycle phone numbers and you receive calls that are intended for the previous person associated with that phone number, this is becoming a huge problem with phone companies.
also, could be a company that tries to trick you into signing up for their service by claiming that they are already the service provider - that's illegal practice called "slamming" and some up-and-coming cell phone service providers are doing this, some deregulated power companies, too.

Oh my gosh.  Will they ever stop calling. First Choice Power.  We got this new number and they call and call and call. We have told them to stop.  Ugh.

This phone number has been active all of 4 days.  Have received two calls today from this number.  Exactly one hour appart.  No one responding us when we answer.

Just hook up home phone number, got the call from 877 249 0148 right on the next day. As i know, federal law, all telemarket should have their bussiness name show on the caller ID. I was register my phone number at donotcall.gov but i still got call from telemarket.

I keep receiving calls from thisnumber as well.  I just had my home phone number changed and they are calling up until 9pm.  I called back and it's First choice Power.  Strange...I am also registered onthe Do Not Call Registry...GuessI have to tell them and quickly.

This number belongs to First Choice Power.  They telemarket people to give better rates.  They suck!!

I kept getting telemarket calls everyday from bogus debt collectors so I decided to change my number that I have had for years. I got a new number and calls started again with in minutes. One caller from 877-249-0148 called several times a day everyday so I called and had my landline disconneted. Has anyone had calls from 877-249-0148 that calls and never speaks then just hangs up? I don't have to worry about them calling anymore , but I would like to know who it was.

I received a call from 877-249-0148, my phone showed unavailable so I did not answer the call thinking they would leave a message, however, no message.  Does anyone know who this call is from?
