I just got off the phone with Melvin from Mitchell Communications with the same bullcrap.  He told me to come to a 90 minute information session to claim either a 2010 Ford SUV, a 27" Flat Screen, and some other such nonsense.  I was instructed to go to Mansfield, MA to 800 South Main street with the claim number he provided...as long as I brought my husband and my credit card.  He seemed to have an answer for everything...I know a scam when I hear one.  This can not be legit.  DON'T FALL FOR IT!!!!

My husband received one of these calls a few weeks ago saying that he had entered a contest and was a winner of a major prize. We listened to all of the details and understood that it was a presentation on traveling. After speaking with the woman, they faxed us some information in writing. We decided to attend the travel presentation in Tennessee and we did receive a prize. They are not a scam, they are just a travel agency promoting travel packages. We are not in a position to purchase anything right now, but we might keep them in mind in the future.

wow I received the same message stating I won one of their top 3 prizes I called the number and low and behold I got the answering machine What I want to know is how did they get my number??? I blocked their number 1-877-249-6405 so I don't receive any more calls from them and wow a new number appeared with the same pitch line (We are not a telamarketing agency this is not a hoax please call us) So I blocked the 1-773-358-1470 They are persistance little b*****ds. Who are they!!!!!!!!!

Just got a call from "James" from 877-249-6405 x 1300. Said I won a car, vacation, or camcorder from a contest I had entered. He said that on the contest application I checked off the boxes that I lived with someone and we both were over 27, owned my own home, and had a combined income of over $50,000. LOL. I never made that much in my life so I know I would not have claimed such a fact on a contest application. He claimed that the contest holders were Triton Travel Group, 23 Clara Dr. # 103, Mystic, CT. Wanted me to find someone that makes more than $50,000 to call him back and claim the prize. Yeah, in your dreams, James.

I just had the same scenario as all the others.  We will not call back.  So glad I checked out the number.

I got a call 4 times from David saying the same thing about trying to reach me numerous times because I won a prize for a drawing that I entered. I decided to call back and spoke to Fantasia who started out saying that I won a Lincoln Navigator or $45,000 cash if I take it. The other 2 prizes were a Trip for 2 somewhere or a Flat Screen TV. I needed to be present at the Tranquility Travel booth and the Best Western in Federal Way Washington but they didn't give me a date. Then she asked if I was married, over 35 and made over $50,000. All but the married part were true which apparently makes me not qualify. Interesting that I had one a drawing, but that since I wasn't married I couldn't collect one of the 3 prizes. So she tried to rope me into having some friends or family members come collect the prize for me. If it looks too good to be true and smells like a scam, it's probably a scam.

got a call 8/26/10,   same pitch as others. would win one of three prizes.  asked '" JON " to e-mail         me a copy of a letter with info.    he said something about not getting it and so I should call him back if I did not get it because of a server problem.  What a bunch of baloney.  A real fast talker who didn't like me asking questions.   also my wife was first to answer the phone was told she had won a car, not a possible chance of three prizes.  He denied saying that even though my wife said that was exactly what she was told.

Been getting calls from this place on my cell phone for a couple of weeks (3 so far, each time from different people), same script as mentioned here, except that I've won a Cadillac.

We got a call from James who tried to reach us several times. We won one of the top 3 grand prizes and he was aware of the DNC list please call him back.  Yeah Right!   SCAM

Got it too. Exact senario except for the mane... Daryl this time. I live 7 states away! Hopefully no one gets scammed out of money...it was only a fair attempt!

My husband got  a call from Domenick, he told my Husband I had won a lexus, but when my Husband told him to leave a message, he said that I had entered to win a truck, and was now one of the top 3 prize winners.  I think having to leave a message made him change his tactic to a little less sleezy.

Just received a call on my cell phone which I NEVER give out to anyone.  

The phone call was from Dennis at 877-249-6405 x 137.  Lots of noise in the background, says I won a car, I am not calling back and will not answer again if I receive a  follow up call.

Got a call from Darryl (843-877-249-6405 x108...saying that he said he tried to reach me several times. This is not true. If I did win a gift...oh well...I will have to live without it.
What is going on here, I placed my name is on the DNC list.

Left a voice message about I won a car and if I call back I can win another prize --The name he left was Melvin 877-249-6405x112 -- I did not enter any prize or drawing -- this is a SCAM!!!! Don't call

I received the same message from the same person on my cellphone. I did not call back because i did not enter any drawings. I will ignore all calls that I am not familiar with.

Hmmm ... two glowing reviews posted within minutes of each other.  Perfectly normal on this site, but since "happy customer" have no need to look up the number on here, posts like these ALWAYS come from the scammers themselves.

Just got a call from a Dominic at 877-249-6405 ext 114.  He said he is from Mitchell Communications.

He left a message saying they have made numerous attempts to reach me (I never heard of them before!) calling me because I entered a drawing to win a car in past 12-18 months (I didn't enter into ANY drawings).    I'm not calling them back and they better NOT try to call me again!

THIS IS THE NUMBER THEY GAVE ME1 877 249 6405 EXT 117.....HER NAME IS MICHELLE. SHE LIES LIKE A RUG.....THEY ARE KNOW IN MASSACHUSETTS SO THEY MOVED TO CONNECTICUT...THEY CLAIM THEYRE IN THE TOWN OF MYSTIC..DO NOT BELIEVE THEM

Hi. I received a voicemail from a Brandon Jackson at some sort of communications group.  (He said the name so fast I couldn't understand him.) He said he had tried multiple times to contact me because I won a car.  I did not call him back (did not want to give away my ID).  This was the first time he had ever tried to reach.  I am going to block him now.
