The whole purpose of their call is to find out who is home--or even just when someone "live" is there. They consider you a "live prospect" even if you answer and hang up. Telemarketers also have a whole system by which they work out how "live" a prospect you are, and your rating goes "up" in their eyes; this rating literally accrues per each second of the phone call.

Caller with very broken English was telling me something about Total and I had won something and wanted to confirm my address.  Once I questioned who she really was calling for and told her that I had nothing to do with Total this or Total that, she could not hang up fast enough.

Called and hung up.

I got calls from these people also, I even had a conversation with one to find out who they were, got them off the line, but they still call multiple times per day, I don't pick up, they still call. They say they have your business information for a FREE listing, and they don't take no for an answer. Apparently they think if you just answer and even if no conversation takes place, you are a 'live' possibility.  The Do Not Call list doesn't seem to help. I even got two calls from some female with an Indian accent (named 'Alice') wanting to check my credit information, she even left an extension # which I will be reporting to the proper authorities. Now I find my Verizon bill has started third-party charges from these people, $49.95 each week for the last month.  Like cancer, I'm just glad I caught it early. Can't we stop these people somehow? Someone should go to that NJ office suite they have listed and see what's up.

They keep calling. I usually dont answer. I'm on a do not call list. I have answered a couple times. They dont say anything and I hang up.

They douche bubbles charged my fios bill twice for $49.95.  I called verizona nd they will reverse the charges.  I dont understand why verizon would accept a third party charge.  I told verizon to put in my file to never accept a charge from anyone ver again.

This company is as stupid and ignorant as can be. I have emailed the company multiple times, told the illiterate telemarketers and reported them to the FTC, as if they care, and they still call with there non-relenting BS to get me to pay them $49.95/month for some BS internet listing. They are not only scumbags, they are stupid and I wish them nothing short of a life a painful and long terminal illnes. People like this company should not be wllowed to breath the same air as non-scammers. They Suck!

This company calls us at least once a day and has abunch of info about cancling an account, how ever they don't leave any info about who they are. So how we can cancel an account we don't know what company there from.  I don't have a choice to answer the phone, I run an emergency roadside assistance company and we answer all call and if we miss one call for what ever reason, we call the number on the caller ID back.  In the past I have reported situations like this to the FCC.ORG

I just received a call from this number and could not understand one word they where saying. The k\message was left on my recorder.

I do not answere any 800 numbers,out of area,numbers I don't know or private callers.

This company, Total Tel Media using telephone number 877-250-5436 is relentless in their telemarketing calling; even after you insist on being taken off their calling lists the incoming calls keep coming.

Today after getting a crank call message, in like a chinese dialect (which I have saved on my telephone answering machine for evidence), I not only want a stop to these calls; I want to press charges against this company. This company is using deceitful ways now for you to call them back.  I do not have caller ID, but I can trace some incoming calls as I did this one, by hitting star 69 and the number of the incoming crank call was 877-250-5436

I believe this company, located my business name and telephone number via a HOME DEPOT COMMERICIAL CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT.  Now Total Tel Media wants me to advertise my company for a charge; and will not take no for an answer.

If you too can report any wrongdoings to the authorities, I hope this company will be investigated, charged and penalized-fined for their wrongfull & illegal business practices.

On one of the occassions I asked in no uncertain terms to be taken off their calling list, I was told it takes 30 days!  We should not be subjected to a 30 day or two week wait to cease the unwanted telephone calls once we demand they take us off their calling files; it should be no longer than 1-2 bus. days.  Today, I actually received a crank call from this same company which I plan on reporting them now. The telephone number they used was 877-250-5436.  Hope they stop bothering you asap!

This is the same company whom keeps calling to get my company to list my business with them.  I keep declining; and have requested to take me off their calling list on more than one occassion. Today I get what I thought to be a crank call; from 877-250-5436 it was like in chinese.  I tried to do a reverse phone number look up, with no results.  Then I replayed the crank call that was left and I kept on my telephone answering machine for evidence; and it pissed me off so I called the number.  After dialing the same number 877-250-5436 it gave me two options to opt out or continue on which I did to get to the source.  The lady whom answered, knew of my complaint "getting the crank call" and had a ready made excuse like some sort of script she was reading off; and I flipped out on her to get me off their f'n calling list or else and the phone went dead.  I plan on following up and filing charges on this company.

called to update co. info for internet directory.  At the end of the conversation stated that I was going to be sent some kind of internet  
service and after 2 wks would be charged $49.95 if I didn't call to cancel.  I called the # back and spoke to a customer service rep she stated that I would be charged after 2 wks if I didn't cancel.  When asked what they would charge it to she said my phone bill.  I asked that info be removed she stated that it would take 2 wks. to show up on their list.
