This service is out of Upton California. I contacted the FBI and its a fraud company so please do not give any info to them.

Last line: I meant to say "legally uncollectible,"   They can sue you but will have no luck...  they know this so try the intimidation approach.  they think they are gangsters.  Just don't worry about it. whatever you do... don't call them back and don't pick up the phone. It is on YOUR terms not theirs. If they harass your family, just have your family tell them officially not to call them back ever on that phone number and that they can't help them. don't let them stress you out. i hope "trevor" reads this.. this number called my mother and left a threatening message that she and I were being named in a lawsuit.  I have a discharged bankruptcy so I am assuming it is a debt collection from several years ago (over 9 years ago and well over the statute of limitations).  What I'm trying to tell you here is that there tactics are illegal. It is a desperate attempt to collect on an uncollectible debt. They know better but use fear. They can threaten to sue you ( and you can double dog dare them) but it is a futile attempt being that the statute of limitations has long over run. Do not be scared by these con-artists trying to collect on a debt they bought pennies on the dollar.  Anyway, my mother called them back to find out why she was being named in a "lawsuit,"  they were very rude to her and would not give her any information. When she said, " yes you do because you said I was being named in the lawsuit,"  they replied just tell your daughter we're looking for her. She asked for the name, it was a "trevor,"  when my mother attempted to gather more information on them such as who they work for etc they gave her a hard time but ultimately gave her a "case number,"  when she inquired a little more, they hung up on her.  She called back AND SPOKE TO THE SAME GUY who now claimed there was noone by the name of "Trevor" working there.  You're telling me this is a legitimate company?  there tactics are illegal and harrassing.  They don't scare me so please don't let yourself be scared... this is the end of the road and bottom feeders of debt collections ( i am assuming) and will try anything to get you to pay up for something that is illegally uncollectable. They threaten to sue you- just laugh at them and hang up. Better yet- don't pick up the phone.

This is a scam. They called me looking for my sister. When I called them back they answer saying 'Corporate Office.' They will not give a business license number of a business name. When my sister called to ask for this information they said they would not release any information without her social security number.

Got a call today about the same of stuff. I'm glad my ex-wife told me about this site. The man on the phone was very rude, and was getting to personal. One thing that I learned never open your mouth too much. Don't give to much info.

They keep calling, leaving harassing phone messages, but when I try to call back, they will not answer and there is not an answering machine.

I'm continuing to get calls from them. I called the 877 number back, and a gentleman answered saying "Corporate Office". It's a bit shady.

They just called, with a case number. As far as I know my credit is fine. And if there was anything to dispute, it's long after California 's statute of limitations on debt. I'd rather not call them back, but it would be nice to know who and what they are representing.

They left a message on my new cell phone to another person I've never heard of, saying this was the last chance to get some documents delivered. They left a case number. I called them to tell them not to call my cell number, and that I'm not the person they were looking for. He said they had talked to this other guy on Monday using my number, and said I was trying to scam them. He asked for my name and I wouldn't tell them, so he siad I had to be that other guy. I just laughed and told them good luck getting the other guy, that I was blocking their number.

Was your daughter told to call them along with her "legal case number"?

I received a call from a blocked number. She says her name is Rachel and says she is calling from a dispatch service. A legal firm (which she doesn't the name of) hired her to call and inform people to get a confirmation on their addresses so they can send out legal documents for my case.

She informed me to to call this 877 number and stated what my legal case number is. She said i would need to call to update my address and receive more information from them.

I don't plan on calling this number just because of the lack of information this caller had on hand.

Same as above only they got my daughter and she ended up giving her card info to the man. Over $400.00 later she has had to get a new card and seek leagal advise.

Same number, same claim. The identified themselves as "Process Servicing Verification Department" and claimed to represent my county of residence....which they do not!!!! They called about the same issue. I had a delinquent bank account back in 2009 that I was genuinely not aware of (we won't go into THAT story). I filed bankruptcy last year and here is what I believe has happened/is happening.

The bank sold my debt to a third-party credit collection agency....they have discovered my bankruptcy and are now trying to "scare" me into paying with threats of legal action that are bogus. They cannot collect anything as this debt was discharged in the bankruptcy.

Call around, do some research......ironically, the most helpful people that assisted me with finding out how legitimate this all is were the people at the bank with whom I had the original delinquent account!!!!

They were trying to get me to pay a charged off debt from a bank account that my husband had 6 years ago. They said it was overdrawn and wanted me to repay the money for him. I had no documentation and they never told me the name of their company. Very shady.
