Debt Collector
I spoke with two very rude men.  I agreed to pay off the debt because I owe it.  When I shared that I had just paid off a bill and would need an extra week to make the payment they offered me, the supervisor got on the phone and told me to pay my bills because he does.  He also stated he was not customer service and that they would continue to call me and my family members.

now I know these folks are not legit..this person didn't spell out the company name and the dollar sign is behind the amount... which means it's more than likely this scam artist are from another country since they can not get the language usage right.

Why do I suspect you work for these bottom feeders??? First, you do nothing but praise them. Second, you can't spell or just don't have enough knowledge of the English language.
Either this is a scam and you are trying disparately to obtain money not due or you are representing a loan agency that is is illegally ran.

I called a lawyer after they harassed family members for something that was not legit. The lawyer looked into them and discovered that they were criminal and the FTC is trying to track the owner down. They threatened me to but no papers ever showed up. It's a scam.

Debt Collector
I was called regarding a legit loan that I had and was almost done paying it off.  I owed like $200 and they were seeking $1300.  I asked for a formal letter be mailed since they had my address.   all I got was an email stating I must pay this immediately or face criminal chargers in my county.  I called back and said I need a formal letter mailed to me so I can sit down with my lawyer to see how legit this is.  They got upset and said there was no time, if this wasn't handled by tomorrow I would be in serious trouble.  I was like can I speak to someone a little more friendly or a supervisor at hich point he said I am the highest ranking supervisor here. I was like ok see ya soon and hung up

looking at their website http://www.searaypm.com/Home_Page.html  I am not too convinced they are real.. I mean it was built using godaddy.com  If this were a legit company I would think they would be able to afford a high end designer and have a better layout.  Very minimal information almost like "stock" info

This company is a scam. They called threatening legal action. Called in upward of 11 times and left messages on relatives voicemails. I called the consumer financial protection bureau to report. I telephoned back and asked their supervisor to give me there professional license number. He refused. I asked for validation of the debt I don't owe and he refused to send it. Said he was sending this to court. I have never received anything from this company. They are scammers. Hang up if they call. They will keep calling so you so be sure to report to the FTC, Attorney General and CFPB. The company leaves numbers to call back at 1-887-491-6167,877-761-5170 and uses a fake number 716-650-5211. They are listed as Searay Portfolio Manager at 462 Evans Rd Williamsville, NY 14221. Also has a number listed there as 877-252-0550. Just hang up

It's a little late to be trotting out familiar worn-down collection shill canards in the requisite ignorance of English composition rules. Wanna play guilt by association? Let's talk about yours, and then never speak of it again.

Your business card may read "debt collection specialist" but your actual jobs are extortion and theft by deception. You rely on thug tactics to collect money, just plain money .... and *not* to satisfy a debt, the story you tell yourselves and your opponents and the courts to make your job sound barely legitimate. You cannot prove your junk papers are valid, or just don't care to because it's easier to run a shakedown while hiding in a call center. You and your boss "just want to help" yourselves to people's savings and earnings to which you are not entitled. You get "a bad rep" because you *earn* one every day at work.

The moment your sham is called out your first reflex is to blame and shame the victims. Yes, a "victim" is what someone accused of debt becomes when her rights are violated. Those rights have been part of federal law for 35 years, maybe long before you were failing Potty Training. The laws enforcing those rights tell us that a lapsed phone bill or a defaulted loan gives *no one* any excuse to pretend that personal debt is worse than murder, or to act like slavering hyenas while attempting its collection. The law draws red circles around the concept that you need to play the game with strong cards instead of the bluffing and bullying which passes for "just doing your job".

You can't tell me what to do with my phone, but I will gladly "answer (my) phone, take a minute to talk". My recording system will be quietly gathering all I need to tan your pimpled hides in a courtroom. Your hissy fit of Debt Collector Songbook favorites is not stopping anyone from piling on the truth of your lies, and it will continue until you are forced into a homeless shelter or a prison cell, whichever comes first.

Nobody's perfect. All I'm saying is why do you people feel the need to bash these company's when all they are doing is there Job . These people owe a debt and act as if they are the victim. I understand things happen and people forget about there debts but I think it's wrong that you people have the nerve to call these company's scams. I'm sure they just want to help. Answer your phone.take a minute to talk ... but no you rather ignore the call go on a website and bash these company's. and then the responsible people read this bull crap and get hypnotized into not paying.. While your credit report turns into garbage. in the mean time these company's get a bad rep:)

The reason they continue to call is because you continue to answer. They hope to wear you down. The fisrt thing to do is stop answering the phone when this number shows up on caller ID. Don't answer calls from numbers you don't recognize ? screen them with your answering machine. (Crooks won't leave messages on an answering machine because they don't want to leave evidence that could be used against them in court.) If this isn't enough you'll have to look into getting a call blocking device.

Your, uuhh ... correspondent has no opinion of you, just a bloated view of his own entitlement. You and the Missus are like alien beings to someone who got his diploma from a parole officer. School for the Buffalo Bully collector was just a handy place to sell drugs and beat up weaker children for pocket money.

I'm pleased that some part of what the regulars contribute here is of value to readers who happen by. Collective knowledge sites like this were a big help to me years ago when I was first falsely accused of debt. At the time far fewer such resources existed, and the mystery phone call site wasn't yet invented. The day it became clear that my hostile collectors were both breaking laws and acting absolutely to type, they made an enemy for life against their entire industry. This site has become but one of my battlegrounds, where I repay the past favors done to me.

As a resource this site is real enough, more real than your puerile insults, idle threats, and multiple personalities. All of the above violate the site rules, which by the mass deletions of your trash you may presume are enforced. If your mind cannot embrace the concept of boundaries, try not to complain when nothing hateful you spew here sticks, nor look too stunned when you're named as Defendant for legal violations at the office.

I used to have a channel on youtube. They change formats so much I got sick of it and closed it about two years ago.

Last channel I have, when you came into my channel I had it programed to automatic play a video.

Can't remember the name, but along the lines of "Outrageous debt collector calls" or something like that,.

If you are receiving harassing or threatening phone calls from them, write a cease and desist letter to them and place a complaint with the Upstate Better Business Bureau at their website  www.upstateny.bbb.org.  Type in Searay in the Business or Charity Search tab and their name will come up under collections

Oh No, I totally Understand. You can't trust links now a days......

On YouTube it's titled "ANOTHER PAYDAY LOAN SCAM 800NOTES.COM"

It was one of those calls from India or somewhere reading off a laundry list of charges. I found it funny because towards the end, the caller hung up.

Thank you.  However,  I am not acting for anyone.  I have  been a member of this Board for quite some time now and do appreciate some of the other members and what they do.  I frequent this board on a regular basis just to stay abreast of what's happening in the telemarketing world and any unsavory activity that may someday affect me.   I have no idea who you are,  but have developed certain opnions through your writings.  I do know that you talk a lot without any value to what you're saying.  If your opnion of me is based upon a single post,  it speaks volumes about the worth of the rest of your comments.  I owe absolutely nothing and have been debtless for many years including my home and the 410 acres that it sits on in  East Central Texas.  I am a Retired HS Physics Teacher,  currently teaching evening classes at a local Jr. College.   My wife has been an Elementary school Principal for 32 years and will be retireing the 15th of this month.   I sincerely believe that you are a special person that is not unique in todays  society,  and a person to be pitied.

Well, what do you do when they keep calling you for payments on a loan/bill you never incurred? Even after telling them I have no outstanding accounts, they continue to call me.
