I keep getting calls from this number either I cannot understand them as they talk to fast or no one is there. Any updates I get from Charter are from the one and only rep I deal with!!

It is definitely charter. I found one sure fire way to stop their annoying calls. I updated my phone number in their system so they can't call me. I'm sorry for doing this to whom ever actually owns that number. Not my problem anymore.

CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS - THE SCUMBAG COMPANY FROM HELL. Despite it being on the do no call list and having very specifically telling them to stop calling, not living in their service area, and not ever having any kind of account or business relationship with them, these a***oles at CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS are once again performing their telemarketing assault on my emergency use cell phone. And repeated complaints to the federal government do not call list accomplish nothing.

The Do Not Call Registry will not stop calls from companies you accept services from. Only getting on that company's own Do Not Call list will stop marketing calls.

Telemarketing from Charter again. This despite telling them to take me off their list two months ago and being on the do not call list. Total scumbags in the board room there that direct their employees to do this.

I am fed up with them also. They continuously harass you. They never leave a message and they call all times of the day. I started a log of the harassing phone calls. I cannot wait until I can switch. They are so annoying. I am also registered with The Do Not Call Registry and I still get these annoying calls. They don't know how too stop. I wish they would stop calling. You are right, they call like a maniac. My problem is the way my apartment sits, I cannot get Direct TV, and Charter Communications is the cable company in my area. Good for you that you were able to switch.

This number calls me constantly. They call in the morning, noon and night. They call and call and call constantly, so I decided to Google it today and see who it was. From the post on here, it seems to be Charter Communications. If it's Charter Communications, that's ridiculous, because these phone calls are extremely annoying. I've started to keep a log in my phone as too the amount of times and different times of day that they call. I have a totally different number for Charter Communications programmed in my phone. Isn't this considered harassment? I think everyone should keep a log, and then we all get together on here or some how and report these annoying phone calls. I've had it up to my ears with these calls. I've signed up with the Do Not Call Registry, but, companies still call. I don't see the purpose of registering if the companies are not being held responsible for ignoring the fact that consumers don't want to be harassed. I am at my wits end with this number calling me. I feel violated. They don't stop... They "NEVER" leave a message. Anybody has any suggestions on how we can stop this harassment?

Charter... I HATE them! I'm glad I looked up the number and didn't answer. They've called me twice today. They always want me to add charter phone when I don't even have a home phone in the first place...complete idiots. Rude too.

The daily telemarketing calls from Charter continue. This is even after posting of their Facebook page my displeasure and being told in reply that they'd take my number off their list.
The attitude of the executives at Charter Communications apparently is not to gain your business by anything to do with price or service but to get your money by being such a nuisance that you give it to them just to get them to go away. Total scumbags they are.

From March 9th-20th I have received over 12 calls(I erased some)Kept last 7 of them on my cell phone so I could send a list to Fcc....while typing this just got another..I am sending them to voice mail, not even answering them.
They never leave a message and call day and night...I hope others are keeping a list and filing complaints with fcc...here is the website and form to file complaints

I don't know how other phone companies work, but I have Sprint. When Charter kept calling me at all hours I logged onto my Sprint account and was able to block the number. If you're having the same problem with Charter I would contact your cell carrier and ask them how to block the number. It worked for me.

They never stop. I was with Charter for years, and them calling to try to get me to add a landline phone was constant, 3-5 times a day, all hours. I recently found out about Mr. Number, downloaded the free version app and blocked them immediately. They're still calling, but my phone hangs up on them, I don't hear the call but Mr. Number shows me that they called. I'm getting a real joy out of seeing that they called 4 times yesterday and got no answer. They called again a few minutes ago. Maybe at some point they'll just give up.

Stupid Charter cable! They have been calling me every day for a MONTH to give me some crap about new deals. I SWEAR that I will be getting a new cable company as soon as possible. I HATE CHARTER CABLE! THEY CHARGE TOO MUCH AND THEIR SERVICE IS CRAP.

Charter called at 9:38am from this number to upgrade my account from their mid-tier internet. They said they would remove me from their sales list but that they would keep calling for up to 20 days because it takes time to get my phone number into their system.

I got a call from them trying to cell me their phone service. I declined but he kept trying to explain why I needed their phone service in addition to my cell phone. I could have just hung up on him, but I was so angry I cussed him out using extreme vulgarity but he kept on the line thinking of more reasons I need the phone service. Unreal lol.

This number was calling me 2-3 times a day. I just signed up with Charter 2 weeks ago. When I called it back I was told it is their Marketing Dept to let me know about additional services I may qualify for at a reduced rate or products available to bundle. I told him I am not interested in any additional products and to take me off the list. He agreed to but said it could take up to 20 days for the request to get processed in their database...wth?

OMG! Thanks folks for telling me who this number is... I dont answer 1800 numbers and these people call all the time and never leave messages. I am their customer but damn I dont talk to my electric company everyday why do I want to talk to charter everyday?..

We are current customers and our bills are up to date. We call the representatives at Charter and told them that if we wanted any of their services, we WILL call them. Mentioned to them that if we ever receive another call from them for unwanted services, we would file harassement charges against them. It's been 2 weeks of no calls :)
