They sent me a post card ..."you have been selected to receive a cruise with an outside cabin..call within 48 hrs. to receive a round trip airfare."

I haven't received any calls from this number but I got a postcard in the mail from Royal Carribbean cruise lines saying I had a free cruise. This number was listed at the bottom, but it sounds so much like a scam that I Googled it and came across this site.

I just got a new apt with carter hook ups, that number has been calling me more then once a day, I don't answer calls I dont know so I didnt know who it was. That sucks... and they don't stop??

This number has called me 8 times in the last week. When i answer they hang up. Its ridiculous!!!

calls me daily, too.  when i answer the line goes dead.  i called it back after i found out it was charter but was put on standby for 5 minutes.  hung up because i'm not waiting that long.  fcuk you charter!

They have been calling me every day for several months now and it is driving me nuts! Seriously, give up!

Charter telemarketing number

This number calls me at least once a day sometimes 2 times a day. I ignore them, and program that number into my phone and set it to silent ring.  I'm already a Charter customer, I don't need to be sold on anything else.

I have been constantly getting calls from 877-252-2917 - - three times a day for over two weeks now.  They never leave a message and when I attempt to answer (which I did on one occasion), no one was there so I knew it was some type of telemarketing call.  I am on the "DO NOT CALL REGISTER" so why are they constantly calling me.

I've been receiving calls from this number almost every day for the past two weeks, and sometimes multiple times in a day. I'm really frustrated that there are no other internet servers in out area, because Charter has so many issues. The phone calls, internet not working, etc. In the past when I've canceled services with them due to a move, they've been really rude and unhelpful. I even had to go to their offices because I couldn't get anywhere over the phone. I miss AT&T internet, they were never like this...

Has anyone ever considered asking them to be put on their no call list? worked for me... just call 888-438-2427 and say the word "agent" to the automated system... they've been really helpful, just give them a chance.

Have recieved multiple calls at all times of the day for the past two weeks. It is Charter Communications and it is a "dead air" call, meaning no one answers when you pick up. I called this number back after checking it here.  They couldn't tell me why anyone had called and checked the account.  I'm not an "authorized user" - my husband is - so they wouldn't even discussed the reason for the call to begin with.  I told them I didn't want them calling.  He thanked me and told me to have a wonderful day.  We may never know what they wanted.

I HAVE THEIR INTERNET SERVICE, BUT SWITCHED TO DIRECTV ABOUT A YEAR AGO AND COULDNT BE HAPPIER.  DIRECTV HAS SO MANY MORE CHANNELS, MORE HD AND IS WAAAAY CHEAPER.

IF I'M AT HOME, SOMETIMES I'LL ANSWER WHEN I SEE A NUMBER LIKE THIS COME UP AND THEN I'LL ACT REALLY INTERESTED AND EGG THEM ON....UNTIL THEY'RE DONE, THEN I JUST SAY NO THANKS, AND HANG UP.  I'M SURE THEY LOVE THAT.  IF THEY'RE CALLING TO WASTE MY TIME, AND I HAVE TIME TO WASTE AND LET THEM BURN OFF SOME HOT AIR.....WHY NOT.  HAHAHA!!!!!

Answer it. If it's a human then ask to speak to an American. After that proceed to rip them a new anal region and to unleash your shark lawyers on them of they ever call you again. I did that to British telecom and they didn't even send me a bill for over a year and a half. That was when I moved out of the country. :-DD

Stop calling me!!! You call my cell several times every day and it is annoying! It is a new number to me, you are trying to call someone else.

They called me 6x times in the last 4 days.  No message when I don't pick up and when I do pick up there's nobody there.

Finally today I called back and it is definitely Charter Communications trying to sell stuff.  Sat on hold for 10 minutes (speaker phone while I did other stuff) and nobody picked up.

It is Charter.. when going to there interenet chat service with a charter agent i asked why this number was calling. There response you have a past due account i said that is odd i have no statement saying this they then sent thru chat an outline of my bill with a statement date of 1/18/2011 right now it is 1/13/11 that is still 4 days away and i am upto date. So i said that is odd since i have not yet recieved the statement mailing date says 1/18/11 and it is 1/13/11. I told him that i did some research about the phone and it states it comes from the sales department. The agent then goes it is possible it came from the sales dept and then he/she left the chat session with a note stating would you like to fill out a survey... but left no link to click to the survey... Oh charter you are a monopoly in this area but wow i wish you were not!
