It's insane how much they call. I will never use Charter services again. I called them 3 times and put them on hold, thanking them for their call. I wish 10 million people would do that. Maybe that would slow them down.

It's charter. They call constantly. I cancelled my service with them because they call so much. They keep calling.

I ordered Charter phone and internet service last week.  The main reason I did was because of never-ending political and non-profit calls.  I was assured by the Charter Operator that I would get a fresh number that had not been used before, and he even suggested I could get an unlisted number at no charge.  Of course I said yes to this.

Today, less than 24 hours after the installation was completed, I received a call from Charter asking for a 'Helen B*******k' wanting to know why she had cancelled her Charter service.  I was not amused.

I called back Charter and was told the operator I ordered the service from could not have known if a number had been in use before, and that all of their numbers are "recycled".  I'm not impressed.

For more than a month, we have been getting calls every day, usually at 9 AM and 4 PM.  The caller ID says "Toll Free Call" and the phone number 877-252-8688 is shown.  When we answer, we get a robocall click and then silence.  This is frustrating when you have to climb down a ladder or run in from the garage to answer the phone, and get a robotic "click".  Several weeks ago, we called the number which was on the caller ID.  We asked that the calling be stopped.  We were advised that it would take 20 days.  The daily phantom calls continued.  After 4 weeks, I again called the number and demanded that they cease the robo calls as I was on the "do not call" list.  I was advised that they could legally call me because I had a "relationship" with them.  (I did have service with them several months ago in another state which was discontinued.)  I said that I no longer had a relationship with them and wanted the harassing calls stopped immediately.  I was advised that it would take another 20 days.  My advice:  IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, DO NOT ACCEPT SERVICE FROM CHARTER COMMUNICATIONS!!

I called it back to have number removed, within 24 hours it will be. Hate Charter already before the annoying 5-7 calls a day. Once you have been a customer, they can call you even if you are on the do not call list. Guess for the next 24 hours I will call and hang up on them.

I used to have Charter and their physical service was actually pretty good.  Customer service on the other had was always terrible.  I now live in an area where Charter does not service and they have called me at least once a day everyday for the past two weeks.  No messages left when I don't answer and just dead silence if I do answer. Until this started I would have gotten Charter if I moved into their service area again......not anymore.  Stop wasting my time (and minutes) Charter!!

Yes.  877-252-8688 is very definitely Charter Communications.  I just called the number, and an automated answering service picked up the call.  The repeated calls that people get are probably generated by a "robo-dialer".  These typically will drop the call if you don't answer.  This is why I purchased a telephone with Caller ID, and two separate Caller ID devices for phones that did not have that feature.  That way I can screen unwanted calls.

My family does not currently subscribe to Charter Communications. They do NOT even provide service in our city.

However, we are being harrassed by repeated phone calls from them.

As we have had our current phone number for a number of years, and are ON the DO NOT CALL LIST, we wonder why they are calling.

It is expressly illegal to do so in our state.

If Charter Communications wishes  to 'get the word out' about their company, they should do so by mass mailing, and do it in THEIR service areas.

Charter Communications, should PAY FOR IT.  We are NOT interested in paying for, or in receiving solicitation phone calls from Charter Communications, or anyone else.

We have been called 5 times in the last week alone.  They have called repeatedly on the same day, and do not have the courtesy to leave a message.

We are on the "DO NOT CALL LIST" for a reason.  We do NOT wish to be solicited.

They should consider mass mailing versus disturbing our peace, repeatedly.

Mass mailing is a better option than the fines that are required for violations of the "DO NOT CALL LIST".

I will be reporting this company to my state's Attorney General.

This is harassment as we must pay for our calls, incoming and outgoing.

The phone number that keeps calling us has been traced directly back to Charter Communications.

Charter Communications, you receive ZERO STARS from us.

Thank you to everyone for allowing me to vent my frustrations.

I received a call from this number both yesterday and today. I googled the number, and the searches popped up with India all over them. No message was left.
