A message was left on my voice mail, and after listening to the entire message (they had my name right) they said they were a debt collection company and were attempting to collect a debt. I have no known debts, and I have never received any mail notices from them. I am ignoring the call back number.

Called asking for an Eddie Figuera or something that sounded like that last name. I explained it was a new number and they apologized for calling. Must be debt collectors since when I first go that number, I had repeated calls from all sorts of bill collectors seeking the same person. Hate that! I am also on the Do Not Call List and for some strange reason I am still getting calls. Will report.

been calling me everyday.finally left a message... debt collection!
this people are desperate. I think they google the last name of the person they're looking for and they'll call every number that comes up with that last name.

This call came on my cell and ask for someone else not me.  I informed him he had the wrong number and he ask if I knew this person, I said no you have wrong number.  I told him clearly that he needed to remove my number wrong name/number.  Very unprofessional and I didn't like his response for me to give him more info on this matter.

I had a call very similar to yours, the man asked me for the last four digits of my social, I told him I did not give out that imformation and I asked him what was the call about, he said I can't go any further until you answer my question, so I said I guess we won't go any further. He said to me that I wasn't about to dictate to him what I wouldn't do, I told him I just did, he said he'd just keep calling and I called him a micro Peni- a** hole and said bye-bye, he was still yelling when I hung up.

These calls asking about some bizarre name have been going on for months. Please help to stop.

Van Ru Corporation,  a debt collections company's  automated dialing system. hunting for somebody who does not and never has lived at my number. Called and they removed my number from their calling program.  VERY respectful very polite, so if you get a call from them call them and get your number removed.

I got a call from this number and they tried to verify a SSN saying it was mine, I told them I dont give out my info without knowing who they are, then he procceded to ask if an address was my current or old address again I said I dont verify info without knowing who they are, he said he would have to keep calling until he is able to verify info, I said ok and call got disconnected

Got a call, 5:50 EST. vm asking for Juan Hinejosa, who they always say the message is for. This is ridiculous--they call once a week at least.

They just left a vm for 'Juan Hinejosa' AGAIN. Like every time they call.

Received call from this number @3:15 EST. Repeated calls. I even saved in my phone as DO NOT ANSWER so my time's not wasted on an answering machine or scam

PS: Only started getting these types of calls after switching carriers from T-Mobile to AT&T

Repeatedly got calls from this # (like once a week); Left voicemail saying 'This message is for saying it's for "Juan Hinejosa" -- (I've had my same # for 10+ years) -- if this is not "Juan Hinejosa" please call to report this message in error.

I called once, no one answered, left a voicemail to let them know I'm not "Juan Hinejosa," so stop callling. Stopped getting calls for a long time from them, until today. 5:30 pm ET

i am on the federal do not call list and they  keep calling my number

This company keeps calling asking for someone who doesn't live here.  Caller says the company is Von Ru and wants to verify my SS#.  Are you kidding me? Sounds like a scam.

I received a call from Van Ru Credit Corporation as well.  I returned the call this morning to confirm that they are contacting the wrong person.  I must say my experience with their customer service representative was about the most pleasant and respectful I've received from an agency of this type.  They immediately recited the last 4 digits of the SSN they were wishing to confirm and once it was established that it was not mine they immediately stated they would remove my number from their call list so I would no longer receive messages from them.

Since I do not answer calls from 800-, unknown, or other such identifers, these calls are mostly annoying due to the ringing and freqquency of calls.

Recorded message asking for a person who has never resided here.  Probably from a last name search on internet.

Asks me to call them to remove my number from their calling list.  The recorded message was clear until they say the name of their company is "aklasjf aklf".  I have rerun the message several times with no better understanding of the name.  The astounding difference in the voice quality with the remainder of the message leaves no doubt the business name is not ment to be understood.

I understand it is a debt collection company, but I will not call them back, nor provide identification data to them to prove I am not their target.

I consider them to be scammers looking for any information that will enable them to steal identities.

They left a message for someone with my last name but with a first name I did not recognize, stating that thye had "important credit information." When I called back, the voice message asked for my SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER or account number. Please . . .

Don't even think about giving any information period!

We keep getting these calls. Apparently, when we moved to this area a little over 5 years ago - the telephone number we were given previously belonged to a couple who had debt. Oscar and Carmen Ramirez. They can't find the Ramirez's any more - so instead they keep calling us.
It is just so annoying and we've had enough.
Since we don't have any debt, it is even more annoying.

Got a call from this number asking to call them back for collecting debt...i do not have a pass due bill

This is a company called Van Ru Credit Corporation. They called me and it was a answering service and it said, This call is for... and they left no name it was just blank for a few seconds, than it says if this is not... "blank" please call us back at, yet again blank. Everytime they go to say the name of the person it goes blank again. They said this is an important matter to collect a dept or something like that. I called it back with the number that showed on the caller id and the answering service said that they was Van Ru Credit Corporation. I think that they might be a scam. No one in my home ows a dept, unless they have the wrong number because they would not say who they was calling for.

Call my employer at home and said they are collecting a debt. Person left his name Bill Noel. My employer pays all his bills off each month but as a courtsey we called. The voicemail wants his name and social. Scam!!1

If you call them to tell them that they have the wrong number for whoever they are trying to reach and to remove your number from their list, they try to make a joke and hang up on you,
