I don't think it is SCE. They put info in their billings and you can check for deals on line. Why would they take the time to call? They wouldn't.  Especially for a savings program that benefits the user and not them. It is a courtesy that they even offer the summer saving program and it would only apply to people with air conditioning units so, again, why would they take the time and effort to figure out who had air conditioning units and just call them? They wouldn't.  So, just another scammer trying to get information. Be very, very careful what you say to anyone on the phone!!!

I receive a call every day....last night they left a message in another language and constantly laughing....doubtful it's SCE.

Was out when call came in. No message. If indeed SCE, I fully agree with Spamtastic. This is not the way to conduct business. CID Toll Free Caller.  I'm blocking this number. Let SCE send me information with my monthly electric bill.

Very unprofessional to call and not say the proper things, with no name showing on the caller ID. If this really was Southern California Edison as these posts seem to indicate, than this kind of behavior makes the company look really bad.

After getting one call a day from this number, without answering and no messages being left of course, I decided to hop on here for the reverse look up.

According to the greeting when calling this number, it's SCE inquiring about signing up for their summer discount program - but who knows, perhaps they don't leave a message on purpose, get us to call back, have us hear about this great program that will save us $200, in hopes that there will dummies out there who don't know any better and sign up using their SSN, DOB and mother's maiden name!  But that's just my pessimistic side thinking at the moment.

They do not leave a message....so I called the number back and a recording GIVES YOU THE OPTION TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR CALLING LIST

Harassing calls, never anyone on the line

I don't think it's Southern California Edison.  I got a call at 9am Saturday while I was out in the yard and figured the machine would get it but they didn't leave a message.  The reason I don't think it was S C Edison is because my electric service is NHEC what with me being in New Hampshire some 3000 miles from Cali.  It could just be some call center number in Mumbai and not some scammer phishing for identities to steal, but I'm putting that number on my block list.

I receive multiple calls a week from this number. No one ever answers if you pick up the phone and they never leave a message. I want it to stop.

I just got this same call and the recording says this message is from Southern California Edison and is in regards to the discount summer program" but then there is no message about the program.  It just hung up  on me.  Not sure it was really SCE.

I receive at least 1 call every other day from this number for the past week.  (I never answer calls from numbers I do not recognize.)  I figure....  fuk'em!!! It must not be that important, if they don't leave a message.

Finally today they left me a message.  It is Southern California Edison about their summer rebate program.  At least I know it is not a phishing company.

I receive calls from this number 4-5 times a week and it is quite annoying. sometimes i pick up and no one answers. I wish I could block these annoying good for nothing slimeballs!

Calls from 877-255-7318 border on harassment! I have received 4 calls this week, and many others since the first of the year. I let my message machine pick it up, but no message is ever left. I refuse to answer when I see the caller I.D.

I answered and they hung up. Second call in two days.
