Got a call asking for who I assume a former co-worker.

I didn't know the name.

Well they called again on the autodialer- rang 2x's then hang up, before VM picked up.  I have yet to received anything in the mail, about this supposed debt, that they claim is mine and I supposedly had paid for in the past. So I will be reporting to the FTC again, and speaking to an attorney about this matter.

Had been getting calls from this # for about 1 and 1/2 months now.  They call , it rings 2-3x's and then hang up, usually as I am picking up.  Never leave a message.  Today, I actually got the phone on the 1st or 2nd ring..They hung up on me.  Called the # back to find out what this is about. ( I have no credit cards. I had identity theft many years ago and it has ruined my credit.I figure, if I don't have the cash to pay for it, I don't need it- debit card is all I need)  So anyway, an automated message picks up and states that this is to collect a debt and to hold for the next avail operator..So, I hold to find out what this is.  Woman answers- still no name of company given and she does not provide her name.  Uses my Maiden name, butchers my first name and says it is about a credit card First Premier Bank.  I told her I do not have any credit cards and she stated well this was a closed account from 2004.  I told her all my actual cards had been paid off and I had been victim of Identity Theft. Send it in the mail w/ proof of where things were bought and who paid the account in the beginning?  She said "we did send it in the mail" then wanted to confirm my info, which I did not- past credit card mess I dealt with, they used my new information to update the file and state it was "recent" activity on the account- thus claiming the account as "mine"..  I stated I just wanted to know who keeps calling me and hanging up.  She stated "Oh, that was the computer"  I reminded her that AutoDialers are illegal to use, as well as calling me and putting me on hold via computer to wait for an agent.  She stated they would not call my cell phone again that way.  I also do not know how they got my cell phone#, it is not in my maiden name, it is actually my husbands acount on a family plan..I MADE A REPORT WITH THE FTC about these practices and I had to GOOGLE TO FIND THEIR NAME by the Phone# they called on.  THEY HAVE TO TELL YOU WHO THEY ARE.. Get phone calls no one answers to my Hello.  They interrupt my day and are a nusence!

Just found out the name of the company. It is Frontline Asset Strategies. They call and leave a 2 second message containing 1 word.

This number calls me and they leave a 2 second message with one word. Sometimes our last name sometimes it sounds like a grunt.

Same number as you guys...didnt leave a msg.  I am able to block the number by going on line w/my phone vendor and entering the number into a black list.  I have no bills other than my basics and all those I pay either on time, early or double pmt so I KNOW they arent calling for me.   I also recently had my credit checked an I have nothing on there pending that would even beconsidered in to go to colletion.  Bast-ages.

I keep getting these calls no message left just want to be left alone

4 calls today from 877-258-1590. this has gone from ridiculous to offensive to an egregious abuse. as of today, complaints have been filed.  i've told them to stop calling more times than i can count.

Ugh... 877-258-1590 has called me every day, sometimes twice a day, but never leaves a message and when I pick up the call, no one answers my 'Hello'.

I was a debt collector for 3 years during college. Cheap and easy way to make money sitting behind a desk, working the hours you want, all pay is based on the amount of money you bring in. Granted that was 15 to 17 yrs ago so maybe things have changed but I doubt it.

Frontline Asset Strategies is a "junk debt buyer" collection agency. They seem to have started up in 2009, and have already had quite a few lawsuits filed against them for FDCPA violations, all settled.

For those of you who want to avoid their calls through your smart phone look for a App call "ADAFFIX". This app will allow you to put in any phone number and when that number calls you the phone blocks them without you knowing unless you check you phone log. Your phone will not even ring.

For those of you that have land lines or non-Smart phone you need to record the 3 tone disconect alarm that the phone company uses. You can find it here

I keep getting unwanted calls from these jerks I am not the person they want and when I tell them that they want my personal information.  When I refuse to give it to them they say they will not remove my number.  I would suggest we all start calling them daily and clog their lines and tell who ever answers we want their personal info and if not given refuse to stop calling them and not remove their number.
I called them and when I asked for the person's full name home number and address they laughed they said I will remove your number then asked for it I told them you have it remove it.   They hung up on me.  I have called back numerous times and when I try to speak to someone after transfers they hang up before anyone answers so they must have a system that has number id and stops the calls keep calling them I intend to.

I've gotten a few calls from that number on my cell phone. I don't answer when 877 numbers appear on caller ID. Whoever calls from that number does not leave a message.

n6x7frontline asset strategies 877258 1590  has been calling my home almost every day for about two weeks. I've punched the right buttons to tell them to take me off their list, I've pushed the button to tell them that I am the person they are trying to reach in order to talk a person,  I've told them  (speaking to an actual person) to stop calling me twice. The last time i told them that if they called   again that I will call them every 15 minutes! I can do this as I am retired and have redial on my phone. I know this seems childish, but maybe it's time they got a little back. well, it's been 15 minutes, it's time to call again-they didn't seem to like the 1st return call!

ALWAYS record their calls. Log their calls. Tell them you are recording immediately when you answer the phone. If they object tell them they can end the conversation, otherwise they WILL be recorded. If they are calling the wrong number tell them you will file complaints with their attorney general, your attorney general and the FTC. Demand their physical address to send a certified cease and desist letter. Google it to make sure it is a correct address. Send the letter. If they call again sue them for a FDCPA violation. If they claim you have a debt DEMAND a letter of validation be sent through the MAIL. If the debt is past the statute of limitations do not pay it.  Research the FDCPA ans sue for each and every violation. You can make a few bucks on their violations of the law. Be civil, but do not let them talk over you. Yell over them if necessary. Remember RECORD their calls :).

they keep calling my number looking for someone I haven't heard of it says press 7 if you are not this person and they will remove your number it takes 48 hours for that to work but they called on the 6th at 5:30 and just called again on the 8th at 5:40 same number I have no ideal who they are or what they want but I wish they would stop calling me

They called my number looking for someone I do not now.  When I pressed 7 to get my name off the list a rude person answered that refused to give me the company name.  Does anyone know the name and address of the company?

On November 16 & 17 2011 I got a phone call from 877-258-1598.It was an automated voice which stated a name,Ron T. whatever,very distorted could not make it out. They said if this is a wrong number push 7 & wait to report a wrong number. I did so & it rang & said sorry for the wait  about 5 or 6 times and then clicked 4 times & hung up. It is very annoying to me as I would like to report this to someone that would find out if it is a scam. I am a senior citizen & on a fixed income & my patience is not very good with people trying to get something for nothing. I am afraid if I call this number back it will only make the situation worse & they will think I am the person they called for, so I will continue to hang up & try to get there number blocked.
