Same here. Got 2 texts with same message but different toll free numbers to call. Texts arrived @ 10:30.Called Franklin Bank in Beaumont, Tx and they said it is a phishing scam. They NEVER contact by texts and NEVER ask for acct info over phone. DON'T CALL!!!! SCAM!!!!

This is definitely a scam designed to get people to give their credit card info over the phone. Don't call these people back or give them ANY personal information! As with one caller above:
Got a text from Franklin Bank telling me to call 877-260-1642. It looks like the call was received from 210-410-5219, as I had a "missed call" from that number that exactly coincides with the time when the message was left.

Got a text from Franklin Bank telling me to call 877-260-1642, too 1/28/2008 at 8:37pm asking for my account information. My understanding is Franklin Bank doesn't even exist any more.
