Got a call from Sandy Gorman and asked speak with Dan (the owner); no one calls him by name. I told her he was not in, she very quickly said she left her Blackberry at home and asked for his cell number. I told her I was not allowed to give it out and I asked for her name and the company she was with, she said IPX. I then asked her if he (owner) would know what the call was in regards to and she oh yes, he knows me. All was a lie, he has never heard of her or IPX.

Same lie to us.   DO NOT call back this number/ person  SCAM

Got the same call, same pitch,verbatium, I just ignored it

identified herself as Marcy Perkins for IPX Sports Promotion saying that they had an express overnight package and needed to confirm information to release the package and call back at 877-260-6922

I asked repeatedly if this was a sales or solicitation call and was told no.

Had the same message on my business voice mail this morning.  Just another variation on the toner phoner.  Ugh!

Got a call from them. She started chit-chatting with me about football and stuff then said she would send over a bunch of supplies for us.  I got confused because it was stuff we never order.  I said we didn't need any of that stuff right now and I would call back if we did.  (I wouldn't really call back) But then she said she would send it to me free of charge and I wouldn't have to pay for anything.  Also told me she would come out and take me to lunch.  I felt like an idiot once she finally stopped chit-chatting and started talking about all these products she was going to send me.  I finally told her no we do not need anything right now and I don't want her to send me anything until I ask her too.  She got real short and ended the call.  I REALLY hope they don't send anything and then we get screwed. Also the number came up as restricted so I can't call them back.

I got a message from Marcy @ ICX Sports Dept. claiming to have a prize shipped to us. This is a scam of some sort. I refuse to call the number back.

I received the same voice mail message I did not call back, I can only imagine its a scam.

I received the same call from a Marcie Perkins.  Too old to fall for something like this.

I've gotten a message from Marcie Perkins probably 20 times or more.  Though it was a scam from the start.  Never called back but they are relentless with their phone calls.  If they would only put that effort into doing something honest.

I received the call on my cell phone.  The number the call came from was 312-773-4546.  I asked the caller for her name and address for the police report.  She hung up.

Same thing they tell you that they have something free talk about dumb things like your weekend or sports and try to lull you into wanting to buy something, what a bunch of jack***es.

Marcie Perkins also gave me a call.  Funny that I heard "IT Exports", when almost all of you heard "IPX sports."  My hearing must be going.  I didn't call back.

Me, too! I got a message from Marcie Perkins at IPX Sports Promotions. Thanks to the Internet, I found this information, and did not call them back. Our company has been burned before by this kind of scam but it was a little different so I wanted to be sure. Everyone beware of suspicious phone calls -- there are lots of unscrupulous companies out there!

I got the message from Marcie as well. I called the number and got a very bubbly gal wanting to send me some kind of t-shirt. She also said she planned to come out to my location to do a vendor visit promising dinners and stuff. THEN she started asking if we used specific kinds of sprays, cleaners and grease. She wanted to send some of this on to me and would bring the bill with her when she came to visit. HER name was Sandy Gorman at 877-672-4727.

I had a box of flour.Tubes show up once like this and the price for them was easily 4 times what I pay a local vendor. If you don't pay for the shipment these guys call and strong arm you with legal action. This kind of sales tactic is annoying at the very least and I consider it to be completely dishonest. Stay away from ALL of these kinds of businesses.

Maybe they just want to be called on the 877 number to bill a collect call charge to the business. Watch out, just don't call back.
