Charged $9.55 on 1/26 to my checking account.  This is random fraud by "SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT".

Was charged $9.55 from a Visa Check Card transaction.  I had the bank check on it and the name System Development came up with this phone number.  I called the number but only got an answering machine requesting that I leave a message.  Definitely fraudulent.

Go t a $9.60 on my Visa om 9/9, cancelling the card and disputing the charge.The  NUMBER IS 1-800-473-7023

Same here. Just called my bank and had them close my ATM card account. They're sending me a new card in a week. $9.55 from SYSTEM DEVELOPM.

Same thing here. Got a charge of $9.55 from SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT 877.277.7903 CA. I don't understand how in they are getting my card info to charge to it but i am very concerned. Will be calling bank tomorrow.

Same thing, but I never got a call.  Checked CallerID and no record of a call.  The 'transaction' was May 11th, but a different number - SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT 877.277.7903 - I'll be calling my bank first thing in the morning.

Same for me folks during the month on 03/08.  Random unauthorized charge for $9.65.  I have NO IDEA how this company got my information.  Upon calling the number 877-261-7382 I found it disconnected.  I called WA Mutual, where my card is from, and they are taking off the charge.  I had to cancel my card and am waiting for another one to arrive.  What jerks!

Apparently they don't even need to phone # to fraudulate you now. This money was deducted from my account whith no calls whatsoever. BOA fraud dept (or whomever they contract for this) is on it. Originally I thought it was weird that someone would ding me for a measly 9.60, but say they tag 1000 people a day with it?

Incidentally, that 877 # doesn't work at all now.

Evidently somehow they get your info without you talking to them.  We have never talked to anyone from this # and now we are in overdraft at our bank for $9.95.  The bank says we have to get in contact with Systems Development and get them to send the money back to the bank.  Well from reading these comments I see that will be impossible.  BUT I will tell my bank to pull up the comments on this page and hopefully they will see we did not authorize the payment.

Bank gave us the # that was used and it is this one.  

We have had lots of unknown callers and hangups though.

Just checked my account online and found that there was a charge of $9.55 to my account with this phone number and System Development as the recipient. Definitely a scam. Will have to dispute this one on Monday. Crooked Bastards!!!

Same thing for me a charge of 9.60 on my Visa I'm challenging the charge and also cancelled the card just in case of further charges from System Development.

Just got my credit card bill. For the one I do not use. Called the company right away and they cancelled the charge. What if it happens again? How do we protect ourselves? + the same here...........called the " system development" and all I got was the answrenig machine.

Same for me also, a charge of $9.55 on my M/C card 2/18/2008.  Charge said in process with my bank, so I called phone number listed for "System Development" and received recording.  Realized after google of number that this is fraudulent scheme, so immediately reported to the bank.  "How do these monsters get away with these frauds?"

Same thing for me - a charge of $9.55 on my MasterCard.  Anybody have any guesses about how they got our credit card numbers?  I am disputing.

I was charged $9.60 on 1-5-08 Master Card. I had no record of the charge. On calling this number an electronic answering machine said; " no one is available to take your call, please leave you name and number and we will return your call".

These people "SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT - 8772617382" charged $9.60 to my MC on 2/27/08.  Who are these bastages?
I have contacted my CC Company and filed a dispute.

I have had a transaction added on my bank account for $9.60 for System Development. The number my bank gave me is 800-473-7023. When calling on Friday it was an automated machine to leave a message (which they haven't called back) and when calling today it says Ring Central.

I did not get a phone call, just an unauthorized charge for $9.55. I called the number on my statement to complain and gave only my first name and cell phone number. I called my bank and they said I needed to file a dispute. Before I had the chance to do it, I checked my balance and to my surprise there was a credit to my account for $9.55. It said withdrwal credit adjustment Voucher System Development. This time with no phone number. I am wondering if they put the money back when someone complains, but keep it when it goes unnoticed. Has anyone else called the number to complain and got there money back?

OK System Development charged my account $9.60, the phone number they are using is 877-277-7903.  I have tracked them down to the following address, 575 Anton Blvd, Costa Mesa, CA,  they rent office space and/or a mailbox from HQ Global on the 3rd floor of that building.   I suggest that everyone contact the California Attorney Generals office with your complaints.

There is no need to dispute any of this. You have to be more alert of who you are purchasing from and read their policies when you purchase. I'll bet all of you also purchased something else on the same day of this 'fraudulent' $9.55 charge to your card, right? When you purchase through a company, sometimes they are charged a terminal fee for their credit card machines. In turn, whoever you are purchasing from dumps the fee into your lap (mine was from 1-800-CONTACTS BOTH times I ordered from them). That is where you are getting the extra charge from. Beleive me, I am currently stationed in Germany and I get charged a terminal fee all the time if I shop in German store (using a credit/debit card here is a luxury so they figure you can afford it). Just pay more attention to this the next time you make a purchase and just click through the "I have read and agree to the the terms of agreement..."

Got hit for a fraudulent charge on my CC for $9.65 by "System Development." However, the phone number on my statement for this bogus merchant was 877-277-7903, which also appears to be an phishing solicitor phone number after reading through all the testimonials on this web site -- 800notes.com. Cancel CC and report fraudulent charge to FTC, ic3.gov, and National Fraud Center.

Got hit on 14 April for $9.65.  Called bank to report fraud and have new card number issued.  Called company and got computerized recording asking for name and number.  I wonder how many people don't notice this charge.  These guys may be scamming folks for millions.

Charge of $9.60 using my debit card from System Development in CA 877-277-7903.  My bank credited it back to me.

$9.60 was my charge.  System Development 877-277-7903.  This probably came from one of those stories of the credit card companies losing card information.

I have the same charge of $9.55, from the same System Development CA, same phone number. My credit card company said they would remove the charges but aren't able to file a claim because the amount is so small. Would also like to know how they got my credit card number? How can they be stopped?
