Yes--why the incessant calls?  I had the same experience. I acutally have an internet phone provider and have a call log in front of me. The literally called me every one or two days. First of all, when a customer is sent a bill, courteousy is that the there is a 15 to 30 dat period to pay the bill. The bill arrived on a Monday and I started getting calls on Tuesday!!!  WTF-exactly!!!  I paid through the over-the-phone system --but if I mailed it it would have taken at least a week or more to get there and be processed--why call me every sinfgle day? I am calling Tufts and complaining. Outside agency or not, It reflects very poorly on Tufts.

I also keep getting calls from this number. My child was at Tufts ER months ago. I recevied a bill from the ER after billing was processed through our health insurance company and I promptly paid the  bill via Tufts patient billing over-the-phone payment system. The payment was credited and payment was immediately withdrawn from my checking account the very same day---so why the continued calls. I am suspect, as is the other poster here is who seemed to have customer service rep fishing for personal  info. Tufts  may hire a third party to process billing--but I am not so trusting that all of the 3rd party billing companies are as honest as they should be.

Started getting calls from this number about a week and a half after receiving my FIRST bill from Tufts. Granted, the charge was 9 months old, but it was for a co-pay on an appt that I had last March that they never got around to billing me for. WTF???? I am harassed because THEY can't bill out promptly????? Also, continue to call AFTER I made the payment online...

it is in fact Tufts Self Pay Offcie -- no one was there

They do not identify themselves or tell you why they are calling who would trust them as being an actual hospital representative

they have called my home phone and cell phone -  how do you stop them for calling?  how do they get my number - I was not the patient at Tufts.

It is probably Tufts.  They were probably asking how many dependents and such because they want to see if you qualify for state benefits to help pay or full pay.

It really is Tufts. Medical billing department.  I know.  They keep sending bills to my husband who died in their hospital.

Billing department from Tufts, not collections ageny.  They refer to them as robo call and those go out after the 2nd bill reminder has been sent.

Its the toll free Number for Tufts Medical Center billing. It is not a scam they use outsourced billing bc the hospital is so big there are multiple billing departments.

Left a voicemail saying that it was calling about important personal business. Left no other info.

Got a call from this scammer. Claimed to be the billing department for Tufts medical. Tried to say more money was owed on a already paid off medical bill. Wanted personal information like how many kids lived in the household, if I was married. Explained the last payment was already sent but the lady claimed more money was added to the bill, but didn't explain why it got added. Person was obviously phishing for information. She got upset when she was told to send a new bill explaining the new charges.

Automaded message upon answering the call.  Said there was an important message for "name of individual" ..then said to press any key if the recipient answering the call was the person they were looking for.
Maybe solicitor?  I terminated the call.

Called and hung up with no message.

Calls often but no one is there.
