Called CST 4:40 pm, no message no nothing. Where do these people get my unlisted numba'?? Losers, I now blocked them for good and did a *57 too. Will call the RCMP if they mess with us again.

I don't know but I am getting 2 calls a day for over a week!

This is some company representing the MS Scociety of Canada calling to get me to address and mail letters to my neighbours.

I'm on every do not call list available in Canada, I've contacted Bell and the CRTC but nothing seems to be able to stop these annoying calls. These calls have been going on for months and they will happen at any time of the day. Maybe they're marketing "telemarketing zapper devices" indirectly... I know I'll be a customer soon. Any ideas?

Let's contact our MP's and call for a ban on ALL telemarketing!!!

I've been harassed by this caller for about a month - two to three times a day, EVERY DAY. Made a complaint with Bell and also with the CRTC. I suggested to the CRTC that they enact a regulation obliging such callers to leave a message and NOT TO CALL BACK.

This number is stalking me....at least twice a day for weeks.  When I answer, I hear a taped voice say 'hello, hello, hello' over and over.  Who is this?

Who is behind these random calls? There's never anyone there when I pick up the phone. It's very annoying. I tried to call the number but got a recording to say that number is not in service. If it's not in service, how are they calling me?!

I had had several calls from this number late August, took a little vacation, and came back to find there had been 9 more calls.  Just a click, never a message.  I haven't actually picked up a call live.

This number keeps calling me around 12pm eastern time, does not leave a message. Don't know who they are

Phone rang three times during our dinner hour and I didn't answer it.  They didn't leave a message. I have caller blocking and will block all future calls from 877-264-3583.  From the other complaints above it appears that it might me the MS Society.  That's the end of any financial support that I will give the MS Society.  I hope they read this.

again & again & again.  daily telephone calls from this number - never a message.  They are persistant usually two times a day always around the same times....

That is a good ploy.... We do the ole' please hold there is someone at the door and then put the phone on the counter on speaker and listen for the click.... It is amazing how many of these dolts stay on the line for over 5 minutes!

called on a sunday  at 3:00pm! Who calls on a Sunday?????
i like the idea of letting the kids answer, i think i am going to do that

just called the 1-800 # for MS that someone recommended above.  I've been getting calls from this 877 # about 3 times a day, no messages for a week!  Lady on the other end at MS society sounded shocked but agreed to remove me from the list.  We'll see!

This is e-bay unwired buyer service,If you were bidding on a ebay item It calls to let you know it is ending in 5 mins.I use this service and it really catches you off gard till you remember what it is.lol

I had this number call my house today and they have been for a couple weeks now. So I called them back.
press "1" when he's done talking to hear more about the company
press "3" after the options comes up to remove your number.
enter your phone number and he says it will take 30 days to be removed..
we shall see, i have the date marked on my calendar!

They called again (and again, and again). However, my 3 kids are having a fun time with these people. I let the kids answer all the 800 numbers. This is where acting comes into place. It is so funny. It gets the callers very annoyed.

This is a telephone number for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.  If you are receiving these calls and want to stop, simply dial 1-800-361-2985 and give the operator who answers your name and telephone number and she will remove your telephone number from their list.  

However, you should be aware that the next time they purchase a list from somewhere, your number may be on it and the whole process starts all over again.

They've been calling here for months now.  I have answered a few times but there is no response at the other end.  If it is the MS Society then it is a registered charity and is exempt from the "no call list".  I think they use automatic dialers but do not have enough call centre volunteers to deal with the answered calls and so the dialers will keep calling your number until one of the volunteers is able to talk to you.  Too bad there isn't a way to put a stop to this as these constant calls are a nuisance.

i have rec'd call from these "people" for about 2 1/2 weeks now... all times of the day... even during the evening. its rediculaous

We got repeated calls from this number.  We never pick up 877 calls.  It is the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.  

If you call the number back, there is an automated message, immediately press "1" (so you don't have to listen to the message) and then "3".  It will then ask for you to enter your 10-digit phone number.  The message then repeats the number and says it will take this phone number off their list, within 30 days.

It's worth a try to get one less nuisance phone call ...

just got a call...just after noon on the sunday of a long weekend, nice!

anyway, called back afyer looking here...there was no option to get off list, just a "to reach your local, call 800 something" then dead

when I called, I had to press three to be removed.... just FYI

They called 08/04/07 1:15pm, they wanted to send me some info on MS to pass around, I said no and hung up. I called the number back and they give you a phone number to your local MS office. I suggest we all call them and try to sell them something or even find way to waste there time.

Just called them back again, got an office-type automated female operator voicemail saying that the mailbox is full for *male voice* "The Globe and Mail". Interesting.

They just called again for the 7th time in 4 days. One time it was "Hello, Hello, HELLO?", the rest usually long hangups. I am tired of them calling, so I called the number back, got the same pre-recorded Multiple Sclerosis Society message mentioned above.

TO GET YOUR NUMBER OFF their list:
-call the number, listen to their message, press 1 to hear more about them
-listen to their message, it will say "to not receive calls from us, press 2"
-press 2, then you will have to enter your number with area code
-they say you will be taken off the list within 30 days.

Called at 2:00pm - No voice, just breathing. I immediately called back and got pre-recorded announcement from the Multiple Sclerosis Society with no option to remove my number from the calling list. Looks like my bank sold my phone number to a few money collecting agencies. The worst thing is that these guys have no guts to say a word, they just hunt for elderly, trembling voices answering the phone. What a nice "human" attitude have these Multiple Sclerosis Society!
