Pathetic scam trying to get social security numbers. Don't even bother answering a call from this #.  It has so many flaws, it is an obvious scam-points made in previous posts.

Got the same call with the same stupid scam robo msg trying to get SSN.  This msg has so many mistakes in it that anyone can see right thru.  They are trying to scare people into calling them back then getting their SSN and other info.   Reporting to law enforcement-call has been traced and robo msg passed on to law enforcement.   Don't fall
for this stupid scam.

Call for "you" from ???  Caller not identified says "you" are named in a court case, summons in 48 hours, blah, blah, blah.  Same details as in previous posts. Don't fall for this stupid scam!  Call has been traced and rept to law enforcement fraud units.    Don't even answer-just call law enforcement, give them a copy of the robo msg.  Made up name and made up case numbers.

These calls are an attempt to get SSNs from people.  Just report their robocall message to law enforcement as I have.  Summons or supeonas are sent by registered/certified mail or delivered in person.  You do not get a call before with your "final notice".   This scam has so many flaws-caller not identified, person being called not identified, made up name of agency, etc.  Don't fall for this stupid scam!!  Report it then ignore it.

Another call in the endless parade of scams.  These morons also called me in April with same msg as the previous posts.  As above, I am still waiting for them to come with my summons, arrest, or whatever.  SSNs are not flagged, so don't fall for this stupidity.  Report to law enforcement.

Got a call from these idiots several months ago.  I'm still waiting for them to show up with my supeona, summons, or whatever.  Their robo call message on my answering machine has been passed on to law enforcement agencies.
If you get a call like this, report it.

Department of legal advocacy and intermediary services.  I've been named as a defendant in case H*can't understand yer robot voice, blah blah blah.  Gonna send be a notice at home or work, blah blah blah.

Cool, I'll wait for the letter.  Oh yeah, you have to serve papers by hand or registered/certified mail, so good luck with that.

Also got a msg from ths #.   Scammers calling themselves "Department of Legal Advocacy and Intermediation Services".   Same message as previous reports.  Sounds like they are trying to get people to give them SSN.
Call sounded like a robocall/recording dialing #s to get someone to answer.  Beware if you get one of these calls and report them to law enforcement as I have-FTC, State attorney general, FTC, etc.

Also got a call from these scammers. Same as above two comments.   Message sounds official but is not.  No ID given for caller. No name given as to who they are calling.  Even ends with "this call is being recorded in accordance with federal and state laws".   If you get a call from this number, do not answer, block the number if you can.  Too bad they are hiding  behind a toll free number which cannot always be blocked.

Do not give them any info.
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO!!!!

Same Msg as Sue: They were saying "You" w/out stating a name. (1st indicator) "SSN has been flagged", (2nd indicator), "Case Number", (3rd indicator), "call back immediately upon receipt of this message and talk to out agents" (4th indicator). "Dept of Legal Advocacy and Intermediation Services" (Huge indicator).

No this is not the IRS, by law the IRS must state who they are and give the person's name; IE: "Hi this is John calling from the IRS, this message is for Jane Doe..."

This is not a collection agency, due to the fact that I have no outstanding Debt with anyone.

This is what you would call a hook scam. Usually associated with emails/myspace/facebook and many more. They use a cover to make them seem legit, then hook you in by requiring more information. IE: Say this party requires you to give them your First and Last name, they will make you verify the spelling so they can "send you the "notice" or "letter" or what ever else. Then they will want you to "Verify" or "Confirm" your SSN so they can make sure its on the "notice" or "letter". They slowly proceed to give you false information so that you give them more. When you ask for more details about the claim, they dodge the question quite well, like a car salesman. They will at all costs avoid giving any information about what the claim or case is regarding. Once they gather the info they need to steal your identity, they will rush you off the phone. And just like that, your identity is stolen.

DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO AT ALL COSTS! IGNORE THIS SCAM!!

You will be very sorry if you do not.

Let message for "you". No name of who they were or who they were calling.  Said SSN had been "flaaged" and whoever they were calling was named a defendant in some court case, gave a "case number", would get a summons in 48 hours at home or place of work, blah, blah, blah.  And better call back immedialtely upon receipt of the message and talk to their "agents".  Called back with my # blocked and recording said they were "Dept of Legal Advocacy and Intermediation Services".  Sounds like a collection agency or some scam.
