I got a call this morning about 11am didn't answer the phone never do if i don't regonize the number,however I have had people calling me saying that they wanted to know who handles my electriic bill and they clam to be form CL&P be careful it is a scam.THey are just trying to sell you something.I know this because this had happened to me before and the real CL&P told me that nobody called me from them before and that they werethe first ones who called and if anybody else did it was scam.Unfortunately I fell for it the first time well how do I to know they sounded like they wanted my information.I didn't give it to them.The when the real CL&P called they told me that it wasn't legit.People just love scamming people.It stinks.

Paul, next time, please give us your home phone number so that we can call you multiple times a day to offer something you don't want.  I DID change my energy supplier, but it was because the company sent their materials IN WRITING and I did it on MY terms, not after being harassed daily.  
And Paul, why didn't you even name your company?  It's Verde Energy USA and no one picked up your extension.  Gone now, aren't you?

Perhaps out of reach for many I installed a PBX system for my phone system in my house. Unless you know the extension to dial the idiot telemarketers aren't getting me or any other human under my roof. the best part is that the phones don't even ring when one of those idiots call! best investment I ever made.

Then why do you and your company keep on calling even when we ask you to stop? I am also on the Do Not Call list. You know that you can be fined for every unsolicited call to the tune of $2500 per call. I think I may start cashing in on that instead of the measly $2 per month "savings" I might get if I switch to your company. STOP CALLING!! If I wanted to switch electric suppliers I would have done it myself already!

877-267-0044 called today, while I was still in bed.  It's a robo call.  Nobody on the line.  I held until a woman came on and asked for the person in charge of my electric bill.  I told her I'm on the DNC list, and don't want these calls.  She said she'd remove my #.  They called 2/9, too.  See above.

tired of more calls ever since we joined the family plan & it's the primary plan holder's name people have my # linked to!!!! StoP!

(877) 267-0044 called today 2/9/12 at 2:07 pm.  Nobody was on the line.  I'm on the Do Not Call list.
Caller ID indicates "800 Service".  I'm also registered with  "No Direct Mail".  I will not do business with callers or Direct Mailers.  If you annoy me, you don't get my money.

yes they are a supplier of energy, it is a legitimate company, and what they say is absolutely true, you get a 50 dollar rebate right away by signing up, theres no contracts, and the rate beats mostly every other electric companys rate. khz rate

i know this for a fact because i currently work for this company, if you or anyone else would like anymore information on this, please let me know, also if you sign up and tell others to sign up you will be given a additional 25.00 check for ever ref-feral you get!!

for everyone that says this is a scam, it really isnt we are just trying to save money for all customers.  i understand its hard to believe something sounds this good and you dont have to pay a thing! but for real it is not a scam! if anyone has signed up recently please post and tell about your savings!!

I am not sure why they would make the call, and then have on no one on the other end.  It feels creepy!

Have been on the DNC list for years - checked that we are still listed / active.

Still the calls come - DNC list does nothing

I am reporting this, and every call, to the Do Not Call List.  Calling my cell phone costs ME money.  And if it continues, I'll be calling this toll-free number continuously to run up YOUR phone bill!

I am on the do not call list and they called me twice interrupting my dinner.  I asked both times to be put on their do not call list since they do not obey the federal one.  The second caller was rude.

Give me your home number and I'd like to call you at all hours of the night. No, not your work number, I'd like your home number. I am also on the DNC list and even when I ask to be removed, I still get rude callers.

If you're so legit, have the balls to put your company name on the call display so I don't answer it.
