YOU SEE DIFFERENT NUMBERS

Today is a new day. I have made my mind up. If you are not on my contact list I will not answer your phone calls. I know a couple people who have my number. And if by change you get phone number, and try to call me, and do not know this number and no answer. Well that's how I am.

I do not want to waste my minutes
Plus calling on a SUNDAY.
Is that a FDCPA VIOLATION????

They are saying nothing but vulgar things on the phone and are calling more than twice a day. It's 877-267-0876 phone Number and they are a phony collection agency. I even called Time Warner on them to get them blocked off. Also they are very rude, obstinate and ignorant even after telling them not to callback.

Beware of Cavalry Portfolio. I got several hang-up calls one week, did a call back to this number, and was told I owed them an additional $30,000 on an old debt. They are crooks.

If you get a call like this, report them to whatever agencies govern your particular issue.

These poor guys keep calling my fax machine.  Must be awful frustrating for them since I also have a phone service that allows me to block calls and I do if they call repeatedly and don't leave messages.  I'm so sad for how frustrated they must be, NOT.  People, there are phones out there you can buy that block specified numbers and there are service providers, usually VoiP that also provide the service.  If enough of us switch to these providers or buy these phones they'll have to put this ability on all phones and all providers will have to give us the same capability or lose business.  And we can end the harassment.  BTW, if they're rude, refuse to stop calling when asked, call multiple times a day and several of the other complaints I've seen against them, you can sue them under the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act and get up to $1,000.00.  If these people are dumb enough to use these tactics they deserve all the law suits we can bring against them.

Got a call from this number today looking for the previous owner of our phone number. Caller was very condescending when I tried to politely explain that I did not know the person they were calling for, leading me to believe it's a debt collection company. Received two calls within an hour from the same company a few days ago, looking for the same person.

Recieved call from Calvary Portfolio Services and they wanted me to "VERIFY" the last 4 of my wife's SS# and I told them I do not verify anything over the telephone then they said to make sure they have the right person I could verify my home address and once again I told them I do not verify anything over the telephone.  They called on 8/22 from an Unknown # (No Caller ID or Phone #) and on 8/23 from 877-267-0876

I got a call from these people on 13 August 2007. This is the same company that uses 888-841-0021, Cavalry Portfolio Services.  I am reporting this to the Texas AG's Office.

They seem to have switched numbers. They had been calling from 1-888-716-0010, but today they called from this number. They call EVERY day, twice a day. I never answer. They can call 100 times a day and I won't answer. I'm moving and will have a new number, under a different name. Maybe that will work.

This Calvary Portfolio place calls my moms house constanly but with 2 numbers I know of 1-877-267-0876 & 1-877-266-8814. So far their list of numbers are:

I have just got a call today for the first time from number 877-267-0876 witch I have not a clue who the number belongs to but the one thing that bothers me that they knew my first & last name. If anyone finds out who this number belongs to please email me ASAP at ScoobyDoo_LexKy@yahoo.com

Cavalry Portfolio Services

Caller was very rude in replying to my request to not call my phone number anymore ...

I work nights, and don't want these people calling me at 10 am, or at all for that matter.

Low and behold...it's Cavalry Portfolio Services...in other words, a collections agency. They're looking for someone who had my number before I was assigned it. But, no matter what I tell them, they are determined that they're right!

This is about the fifth number they have called me from. The only other #s that have not been erased yet on my caller ID are:

I don't answer calls from "unknown". They are calling my cell phone and I am on "pay as I go" plan. They don't leave messages. I assume it's not important.
