They have called me 13 times in 5 days. Not about Verizon but a paypal account my son supposedly has taken out say it's going to court. It does not stop no matter what you threaten. They even called my other son, a Marine who is being deployed. They alternate with two numbers. We looked up one numbers address, it was in the river not an actual bldg.  ( we google mapped it) have contacted our Attorney a General  and Lawyer.?

One day they will learn voice mail is all they will get.

This number has called twice today within minutes of each other, no message , no answer , very annoying

They call me everyday to at 8in the morning.   What I did todayi shave all the numbers blocked from my phone

Called me 10 times since 4/23.  I keep ignoring all the time.  It shows up on my T-Moblie visual voice mail for :04.  Nothing but silence.

I have received 6 calls from this number in one day alone.

Phone call twice today. Phone hung up when I answered. Called the phone number back and a recording said they had a high number of calls and to wait on the line. I hung up.

This number keeps calling my phone multiple times a day when I pickup nobody is there and I keep hitting ignore buts its getting very annoying.

Called several times. i keep saying hello several times and no one talks. i do hear background noise sometimes.

Have received 8 calls from this number in the last week.  No voicemail was left on the first 7 calls, but last night received a voicemail from someone calling himself "Ben Smy from Verizon Wireless" and asked me to call him back to discuss a payment plan for my Verizon Account.  I have no balance on my account.  Today I called Verizon Wireless Customer Service to report this fraudulent call and have this number blocked on my cell phone.

This number has been calling me every single day sometimes up to three times a day, not only that when it calls me, the same number calls my mom and dad at the same time. it is annoying and we're getting fed up.

I got the same call about 2 weeks ago and I never had service with Verizon. I did not give any info to the caller and I contacted Verizon directly and found out that someone had activated service with Verizon using my Soc. Sec. number. I am now fighting to get the fraudulent account removed by Verizon. I still wouldn't answer any questions from the 877 number and will only deal directly with Verizon because the 877 number could be connected with the people that obtained service with Verizon using my soc. Sec number

Number 1-877-272-9986 said it's from Verizon. But I don't have anything owed to Verizon.

So, I called Verizon and they said that they don't have any number like that and this is a scam.

Verizon said that it's good that I checked and to ignore this Phishing, Scamming company.

Font know anyone from this number. Not interested whatever it is.

Fake caller group trying to get money from people.  Heard multiple accounts of Verizon being used, saying that an amount was owed on an account and trying to obtain money for it.

They call me several times a day but never leave a message so I have never answered. Since they keep calling, I came on here to see if it was work related. Thank you for the advice everyone. I will definitely NOT be answering calls from this number.

I had 45 phone calls from this # since the middle of december 2013.
this s*** still active,annoying as f***.
so i just blocked this number today,did it on my account..

We have never had an account with Verizon.  They left a message on our voicemail to call them regarding our account.  Since we do not have an account, I am not going to call.  If they keep calling, we'll have to figure something out.  

I started getting calls from this # at the end of December 2013--about one a day. The first time I answered, a voice said Verizon Wireless. The rest of the calls that I answer there is no voice, simply a beep.

We recently ported 2 lines from Verizon to Sprint.  No contract in place and this was service for about 1.5 years.  This number called but left NO voice mail of any kind.  Since the porting of the phone lines, I cannot access the online site any longer. I did speak with Verizon and they will send a bill once the cycle closes.   This number doesn't show as Verizon.  

I keep getting calls from this number and a different number both say they are Verizon. I have NEVER had Verizon! I called to tell them that and they say when they look up my number they can not find it in their system. Well it is in there somehow and some where cuz they keep calling me!!! They sent me to tech support and that guy said that he put my number on the do not call list...still getting calls...so over it!!!

SCAM!! Have received multiple phone calls from this number...this morning (12/16/13) I called this number right back and a foreign woman answered and said she was with Verizon Wireless. I find it really hard to believe I would get RIGHT through to a Verizon associate just by calling a single number and not having to press any numbers to be redirected to the correct department. I yelled at the lady to stop calling me and she asked for my phone number in order to take me off the list (total bs since she knows what number I called from!)

Got a couple of calls on my cell phone from this number over the weekend and called them today.  Turns out they (VW) were looking for a previous owner of the number.  They said they would update their records to show that I was just assigned this number a couple of weeks ago and do not know the person they are looking for.  This appears to be a legitimate call.
