I have a charge on my account as well for $9.55, with DON Partners as the user. I have contacted my bank also to find out where this charge came from.

I dont know who this is but they charged my account $9.50. I found the number and name "Don Parnters" on my bank statement.

Found this on my CC statement, cancelled my card, am in the process of disputing the charge. Bank said they were a paper company in Florida, I get all my paper in Washington! ;-) Looks like some kind of scam. Has anyone left a message for them at the number?

It charged my bank account $9.45. All it said was Don Partners

Wow. This is creepy. $9.45 charged on my credit card as of November 6th. I called the number and got a generic message - then I called my credit card company and had them dispute the charges.

I just noticed it on my bank account for $9.55 and it was charged on 10-18-07.  I called and talked to my bank and they said that it has been happening to people with Visa's.  By debit is backed by Visa.  They also told me that the merchant profile was for a Stationary Paper company in FL, but I live in California and my Bank is in the Midwest.  Let you banks know a.s.a.p.

same here I just called my bank to dispute it. its a damn scam from some crappy loser. check any visas for this charge.

I had this same charge on Oct. 23, I just cancelled my card.

On 11-04-07 a $9.45 charge appeared on my Visa card. I just discovered the charge today. The description says DON PARTNERS 877-273-6429 FL. I called my bank and reported this.

I manage the financial accounts for my 85 year old mother.  There was a $19.95 charge to "US Patriot Membership Rmg" with this phone number on her VISA card this month, phone number 877-822-6682.  I am disputing.

No call, but a charge of $9.55 from Don Partners, no address or phone number hit my account on 12/8/07.  Had to cancel bank card.  I live in Colorado.

I noticed a $9.50 charge on my bank card from Don Partners.  I knew this charge was not made by me and called my bank who investigated and said it appeared to be an office supply firm in Sarasota, FL.  I disputed the charge and it was added back to my account.  That card was cancelled.  This is frightening.

Me too.  Found a charge of $9.50 on my statement yesterday & after reading what you all had to say ... I just had to cancel my debit card.  Right in time for Christmas shopping, what a hassle.  Wish someone would catch these losers.

Same thing happened to me. I found a charge for $9.45 on my WAMU account on Monday. I tried contacting the vendor to see who they were to no avail. I am on the phone with my bank as I type this cancelling the card. Do you think they might have gotten the account # too?

I called the number and it goes to a voice mail. I then called my bank and they suggested blocking the credit card so it no longer could be used and they issued a new account number. Somehow, these scammers get your bank information and charge these amounts to your account. The charge this time was for $9.55 to DON PARTNERS FL

Can any of you tell me if you use EQUIFAX Monitoring with the card that has these charges?

They charged my card.  The transaction looked like this: 12/07 DON PARTNERS 8772736429 FL $9.50.  Calling the number I got a generic "We are not in the office right now..." message and they wanted my name and number.  Called my credit card company and they grilled me on the use of my card and noted it is a stationary company.  I of course knew nothing of the transaction.  Earlier postings on this topic are months old now.  Would think we consumers would have better recourse on this.

Also note if you have used your cards at Marshalls, TJ Maxx or Home STore.. They had a mjor breech once. I notice i used this card at MArshalls earlier in the month. I also was re hit with some charges that were a month old from Marshalls..
They better get better prepared than this.

Same here- I've since cancelled the card.  Bank was no help.

noticed a charge of $9.50 on my visa debit card. called my bank and they gave me two numbers; 866-363-8258 and 877-273-6429. the statement says it was a purchase at "Don Partners" in Lake Butler Florida. I called my bank to dispute it. I had to get a new card issued.

Count me in too. Unfortunately I have to wait until morning to call my credit union. The thing that cheeses me off is that the charge also caused me a $25 overdraft fee.

1.  File an online complaint with the Federal Trade Commission.

2.  File a complaint with the BBB.

3.  File a complaint with the Florida Attorney General.

4.  File a complaint with the Sarasota, FL police department.

5.  File a complaint with your local police department.

6.  File a complaint with the web host, Powweb.com.

UPDATE - The donpartners.com website link no longer works.  The 877 number also no longer works.

I had the same Don Partners fraud on my Visa account for $9.45.  I live in Colorado.  I am canceling the card and filing a complaint to get the money credited back to me.  When I called the phone number listed there was a recording saying that number was not currently in service.

$9.45 for me on 12/18/07 from DON PARTNERS. Called that number which now doesn't exist.

I am still waiting for my mastercard to refund me.. I have had the hardest time getting my bank to reimburse me the monies.. I am over my limit and got fees- can not even get a new card and number because I am overdrawn...
