Not sure who owns this number, but their calls are unwanted and unwelcome.

They have called my house at least 5 times today starting before 9am. Just about 5 minutes ago called again. We just don't answer. Today has been so annoying that I have just muted the ringer on our phones.

I got essentially the same message, but this time the caller ID said "Unknown number," and the robocall claimed the call was from Suntrust.  If you can't spell scam, it's S C A M.

Same deal, called at 5:44 p.m. PST 5/23/11.  I let go to answering machine; they hung up.  Dinner time again!  Annoying...

They called at 5:41 p.m. PST.  I let the machine pick it up; they left no message.

This number and 877-415-9255 & 9258 using a TOLL FREE CALL caller id claiming to be Wells Fargo doing a consumer survey-telemarketing offers is coming from a call center belonging to Influet Inc out of Omaha,NE. People who are Wells Fargo customers have talked to them are suspicious because they don't have any correct information on who they are calling. Other complaint posts have been called and told it is American Mortgage Company, etc. etc.

be careful not to except calls from this number as i reported it as  a phishing call looking for finanial info , as they claim to be with a bank..turn over to the fraud unit.

Called me twice now and hang up when I answer.  Very frustrating and rude.

This is a fraud, when I asked them to stop calling me, they wanted to know the last 4 digits of my bank account to be able to remove my phone number (!) from their list, otherwise they would keep calling me. Very annoying, don't give out any information.

We have gotten numerous calls like these. No message left, of course, and when I tried calling back, voice mail told me it was Wells Fargo and it was about an overdraft charge. Now HOW did they know WHO was calling?? I do not even HAVE an account with them, nor have I ever had one with them.
And there really is no way you can stop them, the opt out option does NOT work.

Said they were from Wells Fargo and there were changes to my account.

Been receiving calls off and on from different someones claiming to be MCI calling on behalf of Wells Fargo or from Wells Fargo itself.  Asking for my husband, but claims it is a personal matter and can only talk to my husband about it.  We have joint accounts, so why can they not talk to me about it.  I asked for a number that he can call back on and was told they are on a call out only line and didn't have a number for him to call.  If legit they should have a number to call in order to return their oh, so important call.  Also said my husband can look at his online banking to find out what the call was concerning. Quickly said they would call back later and hung up. There are no messages on our online banking, so am figuring this is just a scam.  Wells Fargo will send you a message through online banking services, mail, or email important messages.  Since these people persist in calling our home phones they are obviously calling under false pretenses.

Called at 2:24 p.m. and 6:34 p.m. PST today.  I let first go to machine, and they hung up.  Second time, I hung up on them.  Did my bank sell my number or were they hacked?  Will call WF next time.  What else can be done to stop these calls?

Interesting that this is involved with Wells Fargo since I am currently going through a foreclosure with them.  I don't want to talk to anybody from Wells Fargo.  Glad to have the heads up.

Got another call today - answered this time.  Woman stated she was 'calling from' Wells Fargo, and asked for my daugher, then my wife (they have a joint account @ WF).  Each time, I told her they were not available.  I asked for a number they could call back.  She said there wasn't one, but was there a time she could call and get them.  I then stated that the caller ID had 'TOLL FREE', so it was clear she wasn't calling from WF.  She admitted that she worked for a company that was calling on behalf of WF.  She then said she would just callo again.  I then asked her to put us on her DoNotCall list.  She bade me a smirky 'have a good day.'  I'm now going to formal complaint with FTC ...

Whether or not this is legit contractor for Wells Fargo, this is bad idea.  1st - not clear whether legit.  2d - not leaving message suggests not legit - if all they wanted to do was give info, could give that easily in short message.  We've already asked to have our # taken off list with previous "Wells Fargo" calls a while ago, so either not legit, or Wells Fargo isn't taking care of DoNotCall internal lists.  Sigh ...

I called my wells fargo branch and it is a wells fargo bank about overdraft protection.

Who can we report this number to? They have started calling me and I really would like it to stop.

Two calls in one day claiming Wells Fargo. Just like a spam e-mail, just don't give info and hang up. They don't have your info until you give it to them. They are just claiming to be Wells Fargo but aren't. Never trust toll free calls anyway, they don't know you and you don't know them!

They called me and said they are from Wells Fargo, they knew my name and said I have a choice to make:
I have to set up my checking account and debit card differently to avoid being a victim...or something like that.
I was immediately suspicious. I said, I don't believe you. She said, OK..., I said, send me a piece of mail about it. And hung up, googled the number and found this site. So, watch out - it's still going on.
What bothers me, is first, how do they know I'm a Wells customer. Second, how do they know not to give me the overdraft line (I've never been overdrawn...) that some of these other people have gotten?
I'm keeping a close eye on my account.

Wells Fargo does not solicit.

Telephone systems with the PRI option can be manipulated to send any caller ID number they want to spoof.  It can be set for the particular phone they are calling from or system-wide.

the number inself does indeed refer you to Wells Fargo's website - that's so you will give this FAKE caller from 877-275-1502 info the nexrt time they call back

I have received many '800 service callerid numbers' - 877 330 0743, 877 210 5921(many times), 866 842 1465, 877 275 6850 as well as wells fargo insurance.  I finaly got a clercthat I could understand(spoke english clearly) at wells fargo who got a supervisor - this seems to have stopped wells fargo.  I don't know who the 877 275 6850 is. May be wells fargo again.  I have reported all of these to the 'do-not-call' does no good!!!
The '800 service' caller id does have a web sight, haven't tried that.  They seem to be furnishing the numbers, includeing unlisted ones.
