IF  this is a real debt collector, he's broken EVERY federal collection law.  If I have a court date, then the COURT would send me notification.  

I forwarded his voicemail to my attorney.  I'm also blocking his calls.

The same thing happened to me, I have never talked to such a polite young man in my life. He was so kind and even emailed me what are arrangements were! I also take blame for my own responsibilities.

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM A MR KNOWLTON WHO SAID HE HAD A CERTFIED LETTER FOR ME TO SIGHN, I TOLD HIM I WAS NOT AT HOME SO HE HAD LEFT ME THIS NUMBER 877-275 5436, I CALLED THE NUMBER AND I WAS EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT WAS GOING ON! I HAD TAKEN OUT A LOAN THROUGH CHECK N GO AND HAD OWED THIS $1232 FOR SOMETIME. THE MAN THAT I SPOKE WITH UNDERSTOOD MY SITUATION COMPLETELY AND HELPED ME RESOLVE IT. I AM SO GLAD THAT I CALLED AND TOOK CARE OF MT RESPONSEIBILTIES, IT WAS NO ONES FAULT BUT MY OWN.

A man had called and said that he had my info regauarding paper work from cashnet. After i had relaized that i did take out this loan , i had called the company and Mr rubensteinw was very polite and helped me out tremendously! I did owe that money and I just fell on hard times and thay understood that. He was very helpfull and i could not thank that man enough!!!!!!!!!

I got the same call.  What can I do to keep these pests from calling me at work?  The person supposedly calling was a Ryan Simmons.

I recieved a call from a man named Michael Rubenstine from a litigation department called Sterling Solutions. He said pretty much the same thing as the statements posted above, but about my aunt, who is 87 years old and suffers from Alzheimer's and Dementia for over five years now and can neither walk or talk anymore, had went to a cash advance place and wrote a bad check that had went to collections, and some lawyers decided to take her to court if she didn't pay up to $700 dollars right then and there. Then when I wouldn't pay because I'm not the only power of attourney for her and have to consult with others and her lawyers, he kept dropping the fee, down to $400, and urged how serious the situation was. He said that I couldn't call him back and I had a limited amount of time before they came to my house that day, and then he wouldn't be able to collect anything after that. These scammers are cold hearted indivisuals, and even though we may have not fallen for this scam, I'm sure there are people who weren't so fortunate.

I received the same call, telling me to have two forms of I.D. when he comes to my house, and that court documents were faxed to his office with my name and social security number.  The ironic thing for me is that my wallet was stolen at the gym I go to and had my DL, SS card, and bank cards in it.  Now 2 weeks later I'm getting random calls saying they have my information.

I just got another call tonight and compared it with the call on the NOV 2, 2012 its the same guy and saying ive been given multiple chances to resolve, and that its gonna go to court, same scenario as you, I began to save my Voice Mails on the phone because its the same person, the November 2, 2012 call he had been recorded with other than the script a collections department, he was talking to someone else on another phone. Says hes just working etc. He had my last four digits of my social and everything....i know there not coming to my house, cause my records indicate ive moved out of that county; i really beleive its a scam trying to manipulate n e one and every one this guys name was Mr. Nolton calling with the county is this the same person.....

Rec'd call from this number.  Gave name but garbled..saying documents were faxed to his office regarding bank fraud (petty litigation). Stated he was coming to my house tomorrow and to have two forms of ID in order to get a summons. ????  Name & social security.  Right. Just worried that this guy is going to come to house.  Has anyone had this happen?

I just got a phone call from this person saying i have bank fraud with National Quick cash, says there taking me to court. What should i do
Said If i can come up with 250 today within the hour, it would close the case to the quick cash place.
