This number has been calling me for about two weeks, atleast five times a day. I would like it to stop, but when I call it to see who it is, I wait on hold for as long as I am willing to, and it repeats over and over "All of our representatives are unavailable now, please wait for the next available representative." It is annoying!

These people have called me every day for weeks now. They are from World Wode Publishing. They want you to get magazine subscriptions with the promise that you are in the running for several top prizes in a drawing sponsored by Visa, Master Card and other major credit card companies. The guy who I spoke with first told me that I would receive 3 monthly, magazine subscriptions for free for 60 months, a free diamond studded ladies watch, and a weekly magazine subscription to a magazine like Time or US Weekly. I would only have to pay $3.97 for the weekly mag and the rest was all free. I would be billed $16.64 a month for this (52 weeks X $3.97 / 12 months is what he said, but that doesn't add up...) and they wanted me to give them my credit card info to "secure" my package and place in the drawing. Whether this drawing is legit or not, I didn't give them my info and just hung up.

they keep calling my cell phone at all hours of the day and night and sometimes i wind up with a voicemail that just repeats 'all of our representatives are unavailable now, please wait for the next available representative'. if i am on the do not call list for cells how can they keep calling me?

It is a scam. Don't give them any information. They call me constantly. for some reason today they haven't. Wonder what happeneed....

Caller called from 877-276-3327 asking if I had a visa, mc or american express and that I was entered to win up to 5k in prizes then he proceeded to ask me to confirm my mailing address I told him I will not provide any info he hung up on me. I called the number back and all it said was all our representatives are busy please hold. I totally think this is a scam do not give out any information to these people.

I have been getting several calls from this number also . I told the caller to leave me alone and he replied " i can take ur life away " then he hung up . So i called the number back , but you can't talk to anyone .

I have been getting a number of calls from this number as well as 4067582029.. might be the same people as the info I've come across suggests that they are both tele-marketers looking for credit card numbers for magazines or sweepstakes.. sounds sketchy

This mumber called me on my cell phone when i answered They hung up. I called back and told some guy that i had received a call from the number. He said that he was from a publishing company and he asked me a few questions about magazine supcriptions then asked for my number. He claimed that it'd help him find out who called me. He then asked for my name and I asked him why. He continued saying it was to help him figure out who called my number. I told him that i thought it was a scam and he said that i could call the police and give them his number.

This "Publishing company" calls atleast 5X a day asking for someone I've never heard of. Tells me they have put me on theri Do Not Call List, but still to continues to call. I have mailed a complaint to the Better Business Buraeu. Does anyone know of a better way to get this to stop?

I have been receiving phone calls from this number and by the time I got the phone it stopped and when I called it said"all of our representatives are not available please wait...over and over and over. I want this to stop.N2D2

Have received numerous calls.  1. 1/22/08 @ 3:10PM  2. 1/23/08 @1:44PM  3. 1/25/08 @10:18AM  (Called them back shortly after to see who it was at 10:27AM on the same day)  4. 1/25/08 @12:34PM  (This time did some research before calling them back and returned the call at 12:41PM).  

Got an answer almost immediately.  Informed the man I needed to speak with Shawn McGraw (a name they use as found on other sites) and he asked for an extension number.  I told him I didn't know,  he just left a message saying to call him back at this number.  He said please hold while I try to locate him.  Came back 20 seconds later saying: (TM=telemarketer)

(TM)"I'm sorry, we don't have a Shawn McGraw listed in our company directory."  (ME)"Well who's been calling me and leaving messages?"
(TM)"I don't know, we don't have anyone by that name here."  
(ME)"Alright, here's what's going to happen.  You guys are going to stop calling me.  If the calls don't stop, I will be reporting this number to my local Federal authorities."  
(TM)"If that will make you feel better sir, go ahead and do that."  
(ME)"I also wanted to let you know that this number is plastered all over the internet as being a scam to collect CC information."
(TM)"Which number?"
(ME)"877-276-3327"
(TM)"I'm sorry sir, our number is 877-2-FOUR-6-3327" (emphasis his)
(ME)"You're kidding right?  I'm looking at my recent call list and the number I have on my screen and it says 877-276-3327.  That's odd."
(TM)"That is odd.  Hold on, let me call that number."
He puts me on hold, 'calls the number' then returns.
(TM)"There is only silence when I call that number."
(ME)"Are you sure it wasn't a busy tone because you're calling from your own number?"
(TM)"No, it's not our number sir."
(ME)"Are you a comedian on the side or something?  This is hilarious!  How do you explain my call list with this number calling me 3 times in the past week?"
(TM)"What's your problem sir?  I'm just trying to do my job and you're making fun of me."
(ME)"Getting a little unprofessional aren't we?"
(TM)"You're the one being unprofessional here."

answered saying publisher services. i told them they were calling my business line and to take me off their list.

They have been calling me too.. If you call this number (1-888-382-1222) its The National Do Not Call Registry, it gives you a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. Most telemarketers should not call your number once it has been on the registry for 31 days. If they do, you can file a complaint at this Website. You can register your home or mobile phone for free. I got soo mad when these ppl called me.. they have some nerve

Called three times within a few hours. Hung up the first two times before I could answer the phone. Third time I answered, said he was from Visa sweepstakes, think it was called Dream Come True. I hung up.

I have written several messages on this website regarding this and several other numbers that have been calling me non-stop since oct. One for Readers Choice magazine, another from Time Warner (whom which new all my personal info). They all call me by the same name although its not my name, its similar. When I yell at them and say they got the wrong # they hang up. Sometimes when I answer nobody's there at all. Its so annoying and yet really creepy

Got 4 calls over 4 days from this number.  They do not leave a message and when I do happen to answer, nobody speaks

187772763327 won't stop calling. They call early in the morning and I've told them many times to stop. I work 3rd shift and it's really cutting into my sleep.

I have been getting calls on my cell phone from this number anywhere from 5 to 30 times a day for the last 2 weeks.  I have answered my phone and said Hello they start out there speech about some Gold member Card, when I say please remove me from your list, i am on the Do not call list they just hang up, then call me back.  Lately I just answer and say REMOVE ME FROM YOUR LIST and they just sit there until I say Hello and they starting their speech like I didnt say anything.  I am a telemarketer and my supervisors told us that when we call someone and they request we put them on the Do not call list we do and then never call them back.

Ok so I called back. I waited 30 minutes to get an answer. Then "Shawn" answered and was baffled about receiving a call instead of making one. So I asked him his name and he gave it. When I asked if his last name was McGraw he was baffled again. I asked for the name and telephone number of the company he represented and he said he'd have to transfer me to his supervisor. I asked if his supervisors name was Mark and he was baffled again and noticibly disturbed. He said he'd transfer then he hung up on me. So i called back and pretended to be a customer. I asked about his promotions then mixed my promotional questions with investigative questions.  I was getting nowhere when my cell phone rang and it was another rep from the same company. her name was Rachel. Rachel was more easy to deal with. She told me she'd be happy to put me on the do not call list and promised to email me a copy of the do not call policy. So then I called my CC company and they admitted they give out my info. I had to ask them as well to put me on the do not call list. When I asked to get a copy of the policy, she got angry with me a cliamed there's no such thing. I made her aware that I know the federal law says I get a copy if I ask. She then pacified me with some corney line and hung up. We'll see if it works.

Woman called me yesterday and told me about a sweepstakes I could possibly win with a drawing in May2008. She wanted to verify my address. She read me my own address but I neither confirmed or denied the info. She said I'd get a letter in the mail if I won. She wanted to hang up but started questioning her. She basically told me that they wanted to sell me magazine subscriptions and they got my info from the credit card company. They called today and hung up immediately. I called back from a different number and they answered saying they were Publishers Clearing. I asked him to repeat it and he did then I said thanks goodbye, he tried to keep me on the phone but I hung up. I'm going to start harrassing them and see how they like it.

Same as HRG, calls and calls... no message.

I've gotten atleast 20 calls from this number.  I've not called to see who it is- just no message has been left.  Weird- this person needs to get a life.

Started getting calls from this number about 3 days ago.  Haven't spoken with anyone.  When I answer it is a pre-recorded message that says "all of our representatives are available. please remain on the line for the next available representative" but no one ever comes online.  They never leave a message either.

Called my phone repeatedly every 20-30 mins for 3 HOURS in the early morning of the hour. I tried to call back and got a "this number has been disconnected" or "all of our reps. are unavailable now, please wait" and then get hung up on.

I received 4 calls yeaterday but was not able to answer my phone. Today she called and I answerd. I had already looked up this site becasue she had called so many times yesterday. I knew that it was a scam. She said that I had won a sweepstakes and that the reason I was entered was becasue I was a cardholder for Visa, MasterCard, American Express of Discoverer. The thing is I am NOT a card holder for any of those (Never have been, and never even applied!!)!! I informed the woman I knew it was a scam and that she needed to stop calling me. She got really quiet and said she would stop calling.

This number called my cell phone yesterday when I was unavailable, no message left.  They called again this morning.  I answered and they asked if I was SJ.  I said yes.  It was a man with an accent that sounded slightly Hispanic, slightly New York.  He said I was entered in a sweepstakes (I missed the name) but that the prizes were however many thousand dollars and a Ford Focus.  He said it was because I was a credit card holder, either MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover.  He asked, "Is this right that you have one of these?"  I said yes, he did not ask which one.  He said, "I have only a couple of questions.  Is ____ still your address?"  I said yes.  "What is your approximate age?"  I answered.  "What is your occupation?"  I gave a vague answer.  That was all he asked.  Then he said the sweepstakes would be in a May 2008 and that I would receive a letter if I won.  I figure I didn't tell him anything he didn't know except my age.  I also monitor my banking and credit card very closely, so if anything is up I will know.  Plus, I enter myself in so many sweepstakes--I use only that phone number and address to enter them.  We'll see.
