Nonsense. As a California cop you simply have a ridiculous sense of entitlement that makes you furious when you don't get what you.want. You have a tax bill. Pay it entitled jerk. It is not true that you could not even figure out what the notice was. That is not an excuse you would accept from anyone you were questioning. Basically what's happening here is you are mad as hell that you are a cop and you have a tax bill and the I.R.S. is not simply going to forgive it. You would like special treatment and since you are not getting it you will take it out on anyone. Really, you felt threatened by a phone call officer? Really, you are a cop that suddenly thinks that a scam would send you paperwork that has a direct phone number and there is a clear note that says the company name. Double standard jerk. This is a perfect example of why you people can no longer be trusted.

Got a threatening "official" looking letter from no return address that directed me to call this number immediately as it was in my best interest legally. It's a tax resolution company. The fraudulent thing is that as a cop I had a hard time telling wether this letter was official paperwork or a scam.
