Unfortunately NO ONE here at 800 notes is calling you so we can not help you.  An option would be to NOT answer unknown calls or purchase a phone with call blocking ability.

1-877-279-3100 Rec'd several calls from this number. Checked online to see who it was.  I answered yesterday as I saw it was telus and I'm a telus customer.  I do agree it would be nice if they had the company name on the ID.  It does take several seconds for the caller to come on line. Certainly did not appear to be from a telemarketer in India. They were checking to see if I was satisfied with all the services I get from telus. They were not trying to sell me anything. She was very pleasant. told me about the credits I have in my account if I want a new phone but was not pushy. And as I own my phone and don't have a contract they are now giving me a 10% discount on my monthly bill. I do not work for telus never have. I've had other service providers but I find telus to be just fine and answering this call turned out to be a very good thing.

oh my, I have not had a contract with TELUS for a long time but continue to use their service....did you know that TELUS  has a call centre in India...I did receive a call for the first time on June 1 from this number but was outside cutting grass....try calling your local district to verify these calls.....Direct Energy also has a call centre in the Philipines.......all this is frustrating as people being employed outside Canada could not know local issues....as I live in Alberta I always ask for Vancouver.....their systems stink it is true, but in the name of being cost effective, going outside the country only produces anger....but having said that when dealing with Direct Energy, locally employed people need a GREAT deal of educating as my experience with DE thumbs down

You have to laugh at a bunch of paid posters who are here with the task of defending Telus (pretty pathetic that Telus feels the need to do this) and they come across as rude jerks, just like they do on the phone when you call for service!  Way to FAIL Telus.  I've been on the fence about keeping Telus as my service provider and this is one more nail in the coffin.

You can always call back Telus and if indeed you have been charged for incoming calls from Telus they will credit you back.

Just got a call on my cell phone.  I don't answer 1-800's of any kind, at home or on my cell.  However, I may have answered it had my call display said TELUS.  Why do they have to be so secretive?  You're a business.   What do you need to hide?  And I agree with everyone  that mentioned this - leave a message.

Some types of marketing are acceptable.  But this is not. Telus goes beyond what is reasonable in these constant phone calls.  A text or a polite e-mail would get my attention a lot better.

They need to leave a message and not keep calling.  As someone said above, if they leave a message and I am interested I will call back.  So far they have called three times today and left nothing.  I make the (possibly incorrect) assumption that it is a harassing call and will block it.

Telus called me to offer a better rate plan to the one I currently have.  It's the exact same thing to the one I have, but cheaper.  So instead of paying $63 + $8 ($71 + hst), it's now $55 + $8 ($63 + hst); because I brought my device to them as I won the S4 during a contest just before summer of 2013.

You'd better believe this guy is getting paid to make this comment.  It's all part of a 'spin campaign' to try to overcome negative publicity online.  Company's know they can't eliminate peoples' complaints on forums like these, so instead they pay  a lot of money to people like him to 'stuff' these forums with fake positive comments about the company ... instead of using that money (that they get from you, the real customers) to actually fix the problems.  Don't be fooled by this, it's a common strategy for many companies.  No normal person would spend all this time making all these positive comments for free ...

As someone who has had a contract with Rogers & Telus.....I can say that I have only met ONE PERSON who is happy with Roger's service. They CONSTANTLY added services onto my bills that I specifically said I didn't want! Oh...and while I would be complaining to them about that.....they actually had the NERVE to ask when I would be paying my upcoming bill (when I hadn't even received my bill yet!!!). ROGERS SUCKS!!! I did, however leave a complaint with Telus over a change they made that is not so 'customer friendly' ( my FIRST AND ONLY complaint with Telus EVER since I switched 8 years ago)....so please excuse me while I go call Telus back as it appears they have tried to call me from the above mentioned number to discuss my complaint! WOW!!! IMAGINE THAT!!! A company that actually CARES about it's customers.

I suggest all of you that complain just drop Telus and go back to Fido or Rogers or wherever you came from, I used to deal with both those carriers and they said more than happy to bill me extra whenever my plan wasn't sufficient, I enjoy how when my current Telus plan is inadequate they call to offer suggestions on how I can save more. I don't have a contract and never will, if you have a contract because you couldn't afford to buy your new phone outright but just had to have it because you just did then just shut up. Only idiots go into debt and sign contracts for luxury items then bi*** that they have been screwed or harassed. I like that sometimes someone calls and offers to decrease my bill or offers me a discount on a new phone.
