Igot the same call and it is a Process Services. Said they work for the State. Said if I owe a bill they would be at my house in 2 hours, then said they would send it to the authoritites in my home town. For a bad check. I don't answer my phone anymore. Don't want to be bothered. It's not a scam it's a head ache. They will keep calling  you. Unknown name, Unknown Caller. Be careful. They call from 877-279-3525.

I am in Michigan and got the same message as the other people posting above.  They specifically state that it is not a sales call and that They have special news about an entry in a 50,000 sweepstakes.  
Thank goodness for websites like these, so we can look these numbers up!

I got a call from what sounded like, Brooks, from the united gift center or sir.  The number is 1-877-279-3525.  He said that the entry was from a $50,000.00 dream giveaway sweepstakes that was entered sometime back, not a sales call and to call back asap.  The number when called is answered as the united gift center.

Every other month this number keeps calling my job and family members regarding a summons....They never identify themselves or the company names......My boss was soooo upset at me, cause he was the one that took the call...They had the nerve to ask for my boss to ask him a question regarding our policy and going to court????

I got a call from premium destinations as well.  The lady that called explained to me about the details of the entire proposition.  Basically all I had to do was go watch the presentation and I would get a free 2 night stay in a hotel and also be entered in the drawing for a new car.   I don't live too far from ormond beach so I decided to give it a go. Didn't win the free car but we did sit through the presentation (which wasn't unbearable) and got our free hotel stay.  It was well worth the 90 minutes.

Got a call from someone, never bothered to give me their name, asking if I would accept documents for Lilly Robbins, a 94 year-old woman. He persistently called me, then started using profane words toward me, such as bRitch, the f word and he called me stupid, dumb, idiot, etc. I hung up on him a few times and he would call me back, then hang up right after I answered.

Today, a lady, much more professional, called me asking for the same stuff. Lilly Robbins, blah blah. Here's what I collected from her:  the name of her company is Process Services (bs), they've been trying to contact Lilly Robbins, address 227 Monterrey, Victoria, TX (then she said, "oops, it says Grand Prairie now") She told me to call 1(877)279 - 4792 and use case #1069-03524. Either she's a crook, or she's working for crooks, but crook no less. Please let me know if any of you have experienced calls like this about either a Lilly Robbins or whatever. I'd actually like to sue them, if anyone's interested : )

Just had a message from the Metro Communication by a guy named "Daryl". He sounded like he was reading a script but did a horrible job at it. Same situation as everyone else. I won a car!!! I am glad I read these posts before I wasted my time calling the number back.

I received the same type of message from "Patrick" saying to call 877-279-3457 Ext 243.  Caller ID shows 708-248-7115.  He said I had won one of four major prizes in a drawing I had entered in the last 12-18 months.  He didn't say my name anywhere in the message.  I don't plan to call after skimming the posts here.

To date, I have received numerous voice mails from 877-279-3457 x243 (Guarnaschelli Group/Mitchell Communications) telling me about " an entry form put out in my name within last 12/18 months to receive a new car, that my name was pulled and I am going to receive one of top four top major appliances. This is not a telemarketing or cold call and it would be in my best interest to call back so do not ignore this message". Calls come from very fast talking Alex and Patrick.

This seems to be the same as all above.
Got a call from "Patrick" from Mitchell Communications Group.  Said I won a car or appliance because I or someone put my name in a drawing.  He never mentioned a specific name though, and there's more than one person at our number.  None of us put our names in any drawing or sweepstakes.

The caller ID read "Chicago Heights, IL"
He also said he tried numerous times to contact us, but we have received no such other phone calls.

He said it was not a cold call, sales call or time sharing, etc.  And that we were listed on the national no calling list, but he wouldn't be calling unless we gave permission somewhere.  And we *are* on the no calling list, but we didn't list our number anywhere, so why is this guy calling?

It was all very suspicious.  Glad we took the time to look this up.  Thanks.

I'm glad this was here to look this up, but now what?

Does this get reported somewhere?  What gets done about it?
Do we have to notify anyone about harassing/scam phone calls?  Especially if they are calling against the no call listings?

I too got a call showing Mitchells Communications on caller ID. Funny thing is this came on a phone line that has not been given out to any one and is not listed any where. I use this line for dialing out to connect to my office for telecommuting only. I have a fax also attached to it so I pushed the auto answer on so they would hear a fax pickup. Ha Ha. They hung up quickly after that.

sounded like a middle age black guy said his name was Patrick, said i won a car..( one of 4 prizes)...but i never filled anything out to win one... said call back 1-877-279-3457 ext 243...sounds like a bunch of BS to me... good luck Patrick on whatever the hell you want, jack off!  reminds me of that commercial when the old man thought he won the Australian lottery, hes all excited and tells his wife, then she asks him "have you ever played the Australian lottery" and the old man sits there with a disgruntled look on his face" Classic scam commercial. good luck everyone and give all these bad numbers a bad name.

Got the same call, only identified himself as "David" - exact same script - reported to the DNC register

This is the 3rd or 4th call in last year, always a different person.  This time it is Patrick with Mitchell Communication Group; caller ID showed Chicago, IL  773-891-5645.  It is a Comcast phone number in Cook County, IL.  Same deal: numerous attempts to reach me about an entry form I submitted in last 18 mos; one of the top 4 prizes is mine; in my best interest to call back; he is not a telemarketer, time share or cold caller; he is aware of DNC list.  I'll fill out DNC List complaint again, but since the toll free number hasn't changed in over a year, I doubt the good ole FTC is going to do anything.  They get paid big federal salaries for not doing their job.  Imagine that!

Just received the same freaking MSG from these folks. I knew it was a scam the second he said, this is his 3rd and final call to claim my new car. YEAH RIGHT!! when was the last time you heard someone get a call and win a car. Dont think so.

Glad for this website.  Received the same call from Mitchell Comm. with a Chicago land line phone number told to call back the 877 number.  .....Last attempt...same song and dance routine that has been going on around the country.  Don't call back people!!!  If you do, you just told them that the phone number they tried is an active number.....SCAM!!

Got a call from Dan.  Said I won a car.  Said he has been trying to reach me for months and that this is the last call.  Also said that I was on "do not call" list and that it was not a time share...

Gave number to call back 1-877-279-3457 Ext. 123.  When I called back the voice mail said that I reached Dan at Mitchell Communications.  Not sure what that is.  Don't remember signing up for a car sweetstakes.  

After doing a serch online found this site.  Will not be calling them again.

Just received a call from Dan 877-279-3457 x 243 who left message that I had won one of 4 top prizes and one could be a car from a sweepstake I filled out 18 months ago.  He mentioned that this was not a time share solicitation and that I was on the do-not-call list.  Don't know what gives, but I will definitely not be returning his call.  Whatever happened to sending via certified mail that you are a winner of a sweepstakes?  This is a scam.

Got the same call except it was from David.  Dont know if it is the same guy just using a different name.  Number on the ID was Mitchell Group.  Unless they are going to pay for my son's wedding, they need to stop calling.

I got the same song and dance message about winning some type of prize. I know with the way our economy is and the unemployment of millions of Americans, there is a special place in Hell for these pranksters. I hope that law enforcement will find some reason to prosecute these men and women to the full extent of the law. I can't really undestand why these people are allowed to operate any type of business in America.

I know better than to bother and glad to see so many others here do too.  I'm on Do Not Call List, but of course, the scam entails convincing you DO NOT CALL does not apply...since you filled something out....giving them permission to call.   Jail time for these folks would be good.

I also got a message from Mitchells Communication saying that my name was pulled to receive one of four prizes and it was the final attempt to reach me (I have never gotten a call from this number before) and that this was a time sensitive matter. He also said that it was not a scam or cold call. The callers name was Patrick and he gave me a 243 extension number.

I couldn't remember entering any contests or sweepstakes with this company so I decided to look them up and I found this forum. Thanks to everyone who's posted so that the people know this is a SCAM!

I recieved a call from Patrick today staing that I was entered to win a car in the last 18 months and I was picked for 1 of 4 top prizes, that this was a final attempt to reach me and was in my best interest to call him back at 877-279-3457 x243. I did a reverse number lookup on super pages and it says the number belongs to a Khamraj Mookhram out of Chicago IL. I am glad I found this site to find out it was just a scam. Thanks.

Got a message today from Patrick from something Communications.  He's sooooo busy and has been trying to reach us to tell us we won a car.  Funny, the number was on our phone for the first time.  Said we had entered a contest in the last 12-18 months.  Urged us greatly to call him back at ext 243 to claim our prize.  Yeah right.

Also got a call from a "Pat" X2453 for the same about winning a car.
What's wierrd about it - is I have comcast - and it's like getting a message from an Internal Comcast Voicemail caller - as it has a timestamp with "new message from mailbox# 7088560109"

Think I'm going to give Comcast a call later tonight and let them know - very odd!

I live in Chelmsford, Ma and have received many messages from "Patrick" regarding a sweepstakes that I supposedly entered and am one of the 4 grand prize winners.  He said it's a time sensitive matter and that he knows I'm on the DNC Registry so he wouldn't be calling if he was selling something!! lol  He left the same # 877-279-3457 w/ext 243 to return his call ASAP.  Needless to say, I have not entered any sweepstakes and I am not returning his call!!  How do these scammers get our numbers if we're on the DNC Registry and how do they know we're on it??!

I've gotten serveral calls but from David. Call back at 877-279-3457 but my caller ID has 708-248-7154, which is a Chicago number. Also on caller ID it displays as Mitchell Cummon Communications. Same MO.... My name was pulled due to an entry in the last 12-18 months, blah,blah, blah. The last call I received said it would be my FINAL notification. Let's see if it is.
