Got a call from John Hill of United Gift Center. I was told to call 866 933 6012.  Only music on the other end...are they hijacking the phone line?

my message said, " Hi, my name is michelle with united gift center and I am calling with regards to your entry
 into our $25,000 cash and home give away sweepstakes.  Our contest is over and I have your entry here and have very good news for you. I need you to call me at 877-279-3525." I thought it was probably a scam, so checked it out on computer, and it seems it is a scam,

I received this message on my answering machine with a 18669336012 number with a Tim McDermot  also about a 25,000 give away and will receive a letter in march. I googled United Gift Center and I got here. Read all I had to hope no one falls for this.

LOL..got Tim calling me also (not Trent dammit), and I just had to call him back for the fun of it. Talked to Nikki, who said they were based out of Alburq NM, and good news ! Suppose it was an auto entry when I EITHER shopped at Walmart, Lowes or HomeDepot. What a hoot. Now if only I actually shopped in those stores....they are way to far from my place .

Received a call from the Official Notification Department from Tim McDermen, who said he had good news for me. The $25,000.00 sweepstakes contest was over and I should call as soon as possible.

I GOT A CALL FROM A SIMILAR NUMBER 312 625-1453 ABOUT $25,000 AND WAS GIVEN A SECOND NUMBER 866-933-6012.

thanks everyone!  Didn't realize there were soooo many winners of the $50,000 vacation dream getaway.  So sad it's just a SCAM.  But really really appreacite you guys posting this.

I received a message from Tim on my phone from United Gift Center for a 25,000 dollar contest and will receive a certified letter in March we will see i think this is a Scam don't share too much personal information people. This is like the second time a got this call.I will update asap. About this.

"Tim" left me the same $25K message.  When I called back I got someone who said I would receive a certified letter at the end of March. I never enter sweepstakes, so I'm not holding my breath, but thank you all for sharing the "scam alert."

I just received a phone call saying I won 25,000 dollar giveaway that I entered some time ago they won't return my phone calls it was an 866 number :(

I too received a call from United gift center, a Tim McDorman..the call came from a cell number listed as Shaun Norris from 708-536-l047 but was told to call 1-866-933-6012..

I got a call from Tim McDermon.  The message was the same. I had won $25,000.  They are obviously based out of Pakistan.  They have a Facebook Page!

YE Got the same thing  to which I called a listened to the Phone Switch from on area to another,  must switch you outside the country to which I received a message to leave my Name and Number.  Thats when I hung up.  Scam

I also got the same message for 25, 000 dollars . the guy is Tim. I called  back and was put on hold for awhile send the second time left to listen to music. Another scam sounds like

RECEIVED THE SAME CALL WITH THE SAME MESSAGE. CALLED THE NUMBER TO SEE WHAT IT WAS ALL ABOUT AND WAS PUT ON HOLD FOR OVER 10 MINUTES.

THE MESSAGE I RECEIVED WAS ABOUT WINNING $50,000.00 AND THAT I TOO NEEDED TO RETURN THE CALL ASAP.

I don't enter sweepstakes so I knew this was a scam from United Notification Center! Said that I won $50,000! Just wanted to report so people are aware that this is still going on!

I got the same call and glad I checked online first. I was thinking oh wow, maybe just maybe....YA RIGHT!

You have a better chance of getting hit by a lightening than win the sweepstakes so why would you trust some random fraud that called you claiming you won the sweepstakes?

Just got a call from Trent and apparently I won a dream get away. Good thing I checked this first!

Yep Trent Brooks just called me on a number I've had only 2 months but apparently I used this number to enter the sweepstakes some time back. Hmm? funny I knew the number back then when I didn't have it! Also know the number has not been in use  for 4 years. Same scam different day!  Not gonna call back but will put the SOB on hold if he calls here again!
