I recieve calls from this number at home and at work. They say that they are collecting a debt and that i should give them my social security number and they would give me information on what the call is for. I asked where the company was located she told me that they were located in united kingdom, London. I am here in Arizona. These people are hard to understand and when you try to get more information from them they put you on hold and never reanswer. they have left messages with this phone number and email addresses but the address is bogus, everytime I try to email them it doesn't go thru. Can someone help me get these people off my back.

I get a call from a blocked number several times a week & daily.  If they dont hang up on me & I dont answer they leave a message that is extremely hard to understand & hear.  They either talk so low you cant make out anything or there is so much noise in the background which makes it sound unprofessional from a collection company, if that in fact is that they are.  They call me at my direct # for work & are looking for a former employee.  I have tried to tell them that she no longer works here & to stop calling, which didn't work so i called back to speak with a supervisor to which i was advised it would be taken care of. however i still am getting calls & spoke to another supervisor who hung up on me for asking too many questions.  they dont want to talk to you unless you give them your social security number & i was even lucky to get the so-called managers.  I last spoke to someone who told me his name was john doja & gave me 2 different names as the company, now totalling 3 alias': GSS, BIG & Route 66 Funding.  When i told him i needed the address and the correct company name he refused & would not tell me the name of the owner i told him i was going to report him to the BBB.  He responded with i dont take threats well & that he was too busy to deal with me, still not knowing whether i was one of his "customers" or not.  if collections is his job them he shouldn't be too busy to speak to a debtor.

I did take out a loan from GSFIL, I was desperate.  Anyway, They have taken $68 from my checking account biweekly since December.  Everytime I call them, I get the run around because I ask them for an address and they turn dumb and/or hang up on me.  So what I did is, I went to my bank and put a stop payment on my account for GSFIL.  The cost was $30 but the stop payment lasts 6 months.  Personally I consider that a good deal since I am losing $136 a month.  In the mean time the bank is going to research and hopefully find some information on these people.

Now the bad news, my "stop payment" are only for the GSFIL information that ther bank has with regard to my withdrawals, thsi does not prevent them from withdrawning money under another name.

I get the same calls. These call cost them almoust nothing but the persons time. If you want nothing and hang up they win. The key is to keep them on the phone as long as possible, then the cost goes up. Every few seconds is another call they could have made. If I have nothing to do I keep them on the phone as long as I can. I agree to everything and get details of everything until it's time to pay. Then I put them on hold to go get the payment. After a few of these unproductive 5-10 minute calls it will either become too unproductive to continue or they will get pissed with the people playing their own game and quit the job. If we all do it they will loose big money. Please repost this as much as you can so we can make an impact.

Please DO NOT DO BUSSINESS WITH THIS COMPNAY  THEY DO HAVE A LICENSCE AND COUNTINUE TO DEBIT YOUR ACCOUNT REGARDLESS IF YOU PAY THEM OR NOT. They call me over a year ago out of the blue. I was scrap for cash and so I took the loan and made it clear that I wanted set up right then and there because I will not be able to pay them in full they agree and continued and a coupke days laters I got @200 well the next week they pull out $60 then $55 then $50 then $45 then $40 times 5 until I stop them, I called at first they semm cooperative, that lasted one day and I called back  they started harassing me, they started calling my job harass them calling like 8 to 9 times within 5 minutes. Luckly I was friends with the receptionist and she did not have me reported took care of the call. But they were ruthless. When I did talk to them they were degrading, harassing and very uncocern. They threaten garnishment but I had the law on my side and I knew it. The best way to combate them is stop all communication. Contact and file reports to the BBB, FTC, and your local DA office. Also block them from debiting your account and even change account number. This company is online and is base out of several locations from London to Dominic Republic. If they threaten you with a law suit because they do not have a license and a law suit is more costly. Also keep that email (if they sent you one) just in case they do get the nuts to sue you. That will be your Ace in the hole. They ruthless and once they get your account information they want stop  no matter what you do.  So far they have gotten over $640 from me when I suppose to pay  $250. Get yor local laws, especially when it comes to collections, loan, repayments, harassment. IF YOU DID BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO STOP THEM BECAUSE THEY WILL CONTINUE TO TAKE YOUR MONEY NO MATTER WHAT YOU AGREE TO. DO NOT BUSSINESS WITH ONLINE LOAN COMPANIES UNLESS THEY HAVE THE PAPER WORK TO BACK IT UP. I hope this help someone out there.

I had an Indian man call me at work today. He asked to speak to me. I id'ed myself and he did not understand and started demanding to speak to me. I ask him if this was a personal call or a sales call. He refused to answer so I hung up. He kept calling me back. He called me 6 times in 8 minutes. I was so glad my boss was out to lunch. I could have gotten in a lot of trouble. I about had enough and picked up the phone and told him it was harassment and demanded to speak to a supervisor. He refused saying he was a supervisor. I told him do not call me at work, to call my cell or better yet contact through mail. He then turned around and called my cell. I hung up on him again. He called me 3 more times on my cell. There should be something I could do about this. But what?

I've been dealing with "Erik" for the past three days.  I don't even recall taking a loan out with this company, but if I did, it had to have been over 2 years ago, as I now do all of my finances through a pre-paid debit card with automatic deposit and no banking institution.

He said I owed $4K.  I just hung up.  Big mistake! He called back several times and when I would put him to voice mail, he left me very rude messages,  Then called my company's main number and started harassing our operator when she would transfer the call to my VM.

He even asked her to be put into our HR dept, and when she said no, he cussed at her.  He literally told her to "Get him the hell on the phone".  Wow.

I finally called him back and told him to quit calling.  That he could cost me my job.  He apologized, but then went on this big rant about me paying up.  When I asked for a detailed information on the loan, he asked for my SS#.  I knew then that he was full of it, because he'd already have that info on file.  Luckily, my cell number has changed or he'd be blowing that up as well.

I have been receiving calls from this number for a couple of day at my office, they are asking for a person that use to work with our company. I told the man (middle eastern) that the person he was looking for was no longer with the company. I told him to please stop calling here and try a different number. This guy has the balls to tell me, ?I think you?re a liar and I am not going to get off the phone with you?. I asked the man what his name was he said ?Victor Anderson? and I asked him can I have call back number for you, he says my number is 877-280-2337 ext. 5117. I then told him thanks for the info; I will be reporting you and your company.  He tell me look girl you need to let me talk to your boss because I need to collect money from your employee; I told him look mister I am the owner of this company and that person does not work here no more.  This man began to get loud with me calling me a liar. I told him that I did not have time to speak with him no more and to please stop calling. This man did not wait even five minutes to call back.

I am young woman going to school and working full-time. I recieved a very concerning call at work from this company. The sounded like he was from India or something and he was rude he was yelling at me. He said i owed them money from April of 2006, i do not remebr this debt at all and i am sure 250.00 would have been paid. When i asked how was owed he stated 1,145 dollars i explained and expressed well is there something that i could possible have in writing. I also asked for him to provide me with the Business Name and his name he declined. He began to cuss at me and yell and informed me that if i did not provide my banking information that he would Garnish my wages which scared me even more. Unfortuantely being young and dumb i provided my ss# which he did not have. When i reseacrhed all of this i wanted to cry the company is a scam i had to place fraud alerts on mt credit and the fact that they talked to me this way my day was ruined. I also believe that my debt was paid and these people for this company are jerks. If there is any information that can help me please post and i will look to see what i can do, i do not want my wages garnished which i know they cannot do i never took a loan from them.

These clowns did a fantastic job of aggrevating me today.  I am a bankruptcy attorney and they kept calling my client after we filed his case (which is illegal).  My client was not sure who the company was; he only had a phone number.  I called to protect my clients rights and they wouldn't tell me the name of their company.  Furthermore, they said they will be garnishing my clients wages (also illegal).  "Eddie Carter" changed his tone after I informed him that I will drag his a** in front of a federal judge if he attempts to contact my client again.

Bottom line: I have dealt with hundreds of creditors and collection firms and all of them are bound by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  Refusal to give appropriate information is a sure sign of illegitimate business.  Do not let this company (GFS Investigations, Global Financial Services, Route 66 Funding) scare you, particularly if you have filed bankruptcy.  Your rights are protected.

Oh, and if you would like a fax number to contact them for notice (or any other) purposes, it is 877-280-2330.

I get these calls now 2 and 3 times a day! I have put it on the do not call list, but somehow they manage to evade any kind of prosecution for their annoyances. I owe them nothing, yet they are persistent.  I demanded to have an accounting from them in writing and when he asked for my address I told him that if he had a phone number he must certainly have an address.

I made the mistake of borrowing money from them and they have called my work number almost everyday for the last two months. Since I work the switchboard during the afternoon, I do receive a lot of the calls, but me and my co-workers are being harrassed. One day one foreign person spoke to my supervisor and this made her extremely angry. The person told her that he knew he was talking to me instead of my supervisor. A log has been kept of the calls and a I am filing a complaint with the FTC and the BBB. I should not have ever borrowed the money on line and I advise anyone not to ever, ever do it. It is not worth it. My company is in the process of filing a complaint. These people are very, very rude and extremely unprofessional.

Hey, I wish I knew this before I got this loan. These people are insane at Global Financial Services. I got a $200 loan and now they are saying that I owe them $1100.  I have at least paid back the $200, but times got hard and I couldn't pay.  They are calling my job now constantly and if I don't answer or ask them nicely to call me back later they get mad or keep calling me back to back.  What can I do to stop this.  I don't want to deal with them anymore.  Now its an investagation issue and if they don't get paid they will have to talk to my supervisor and payroll department.  I just want this to stop.  Any ideas to stop them?  Thanks for any help.

I actually just posted my call details and my ordeal just a few seconds ago, I did not see this part of the website until now.  Please see the posting under Lyn for 03/04/2008.  I forgot to put on my posting that when he called me on my cell the number was different.  +442084922780 (I'm not sure what the + sign means, but this is what my cell phone said, I know it was him, because he left a message and listented to it immediately after it was left) The phone number that was given to me to call back was 877-280-2337.

They must have been busy today!  I had the same kind of call.  I told him not to call me at work and he wanted to argue with me, I told him 3 times then I hung up.  That was a mistake, because then he calls back while I was on another call and left me a very nasty message.  He says that I better call him back tonight or something will happen, then he paused and said that you won't like.  Then he said that he will continue calling me tommorow at work until I give him money. He then called me this evening on my cell phone, although his tone was nicer, he still threatened that he was going to call me tomorrow at work until I give him money. I did take a payday loan and after over a year of the company which is GFS (Global Financial Services) taking $35 every two weeks, plus extra in the first month or so after I took the loan, I closed my bank account to stop them.  I had a few conversations with them asking them why they are taking this money and how much I owe them.  I was told that I still owed $235 after I had already paid for several months. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau and thanks to this website I found out that the company is unable to do business in the US and is in the UK.  This helped me out alot.  I suggest you all do the same.  Also there are rules set forth by the FDCP, you can Google that and find info on this.  Also, you can sue companies that violate these rules for $1K, court and attorneys fees.  I hope this helps all of you.  This company is messing with the wrong person, I stand up and fight for what is right.  I will not let this company get me down.  If I have to take legal action, you better believe I will.  Thank you to all of you that left messages, I do not feel so alone now.  I hope these people stop calling all of us soon.
