Im tired of getting rude and threatening calls from this 2 numbers(9044185620 and 9044185001). cant ever get anyone when I return the call. I want these calls to be stopped

I got my 3rd call from these thugs today.  They need to be turned over to the BBB.

The call I received from HPC & Associates (evidently the one in Jacksonville on Blanding Blvd, keep calling me for my son, who is unemployed and going to school, saying "there has been a complaint filed against him and he needs to contact us to resolve the issue" - they are debt collectors. I check my caller ID before I answer the phone. You can't get blood from a turnip. They are relentless, starting at 8AM and continuing until 9PM, 7 days a week.

getting calls from 877 285 8668 hpc when i returned call they refused to say who they were

I recieved a call from this number today, as soon as I picked up I got a automated voice that said " Please hold for an important message" followed by two seconds of elevator music.  Then it hung up.

I got a call last week from Jacob at 877.285.8668 ext 139 telling me it would be in my best interest to return their call because they need a statement from me.  No other information was left.  I'm not sure who or why they are calling me.

Been getting calls from this phone number, I dont have information on the person they are looking for. They need to stop harrasing me and calling my phone.

They called my oldest daughter and told her that they were looking for my middle daughter on a criminal complaint and that she needs to be notified of her rights.

Got a call from 904-418-5000; have received a couple of calls from that number. Today they left a message to call back 877-285-8668; message was computer generated.  In the message, they did identify as a debt collection company and stated that they were trying to collect a debt and any information received would be used for that purpose.  The recording identified the company as HPC.  There was a reference number, but I could not understand it.

Somebody call me yestarday from this number 877 285 8668 and the person who called me said I need your husband call me back at this number 877 285 8668 ext 153 because he is in trouble,and when my husband call back they never identify who is the person who calling him this person only wanted to confirm the 4 last digit of his SS and they already now his 4 last digits of my husband SS.We don't now what they want my husband told him I don't will give you my numbers because you didn't tell who are you and he hang up the phone and they call him back.We need info about this number or stop this people who's making this call. HPC

These people are rude and they like to threaten. They say they are calling to inform you that you are about to get "IN TROUBLE" for making bad checks??   Once I asked more questions, he then hung up .

Today I  received a call fron 904-418-5000 with a return number of 877-285-8668 ext 153 Ray Bucannon.
He told me that if did not pay the tonight that I would go to jail for fraud. I couldnt understand what was going on. So I called the company that they told me where thr check was from. Well that place said they have alot of hacking going on. So what do we do? I am not going to lie it scared me.

I was getting calls all the time and even at work.  They were accusing me of fraud on some internet loan and I'm not even sure it was mine.  They refused to send me any paperwork and sounded like they were going to take some kinda action.  After I turned it over to my lawyer www.justiceintexas.com they stopped calling me.

They call threatening to enforce an issue relating to check FRAUD!  I got tired of it and turned it over to my lawyer www.JusticeInTexas.com    Now they can deal with him.

The collection agencies do not control the police.  A bad check has to be filed with the local district attorney first, and at that point you will be given chances to pay the check.  It is a long time before the police get involved.  Don't let these people scare you.  That is their business, and I'm guessing it must work pretty well for them,.

Got a call today from "HPC" what a couple of rude mother f-ers. These a- holes do not know the laws and make illegal threats including calling your refs and telling them what they are going to do to you. "DO NOT PAY THESE A_HOLES" contact the company you owe and work it out with them.

These dummies are rude!!!!!! how do they expect to collect on a debt being rude???? They use all kinds of scare tactics and talk about the law. They need customer service skills on how to properly talk to adults... You will never get anything from me, talking to me like a child!!!! and they will tell you that you are in alot of trouble.... they will be in trouble if they ever call my phone again....It's a shame we as consumer have to deal with this non sense...

I understand that people need to be responsible, however, I am sure you are aware, unforseen occurances befall us all. Your comment here justifies my thoughts and feelings on collection agencies. RUDE people. If this is how you think about people it will come across. shame on you. Most collection agencies will break the law according to the Credit Legal rights. I know them, You are not to call their work, only call a reference once and definitly not tell anyone what it is for. Many if not all times these are broken. Threats are always made. when you do a payday loan. you can not have it both ways, when one is taken out the person loaning the money knows that person is broke. you can not send collections on them in this matter. look it up. EVERYONE research your rights. I had to. I am suing companies right now because of there wrong doing.  There are many phantom companies out there too. beware but as for you, my friend, the only reason you think these people are awesome is because you are employed by them. You are just one of there monkeys with a lack of education. what about 18? you act like it and do not know the law!!!

I was awakened this morning by someone looking for my brother-in-law who has used ckeck advance places for many years and quits jobs all the time.  When I explained that I didn't know how to contact my bil because he doesn't have a cell phone or anything and hadn't seen him since my mil's funeral, the guy then aked if my bil is always "making trouble" and I replied, no- he just goes from job to job and we don't have much contact with him.  The guy then let me know that my bil was in "a lot of trouble" and he needed to call back this number so that he could voluntarily resolve this.  All this time the guy- Mr. Buchannan- never said what it was about and just said we better have my bil call.  Oh, and he said he was with BP & Associates.  This company I guess has used many different names.

@Superman you know I wish you would get the calls so you can feel the frustratiion and anger we feel when they call. And for your information many of us dont have a debt with them or have paid our debt with already and they are still harrassing our friends, family members, and us! here is the information for anyone that is interested in entering a formal complaint against this company

Well I have been getting calls from them since about september 2009 and they have been making the same idle threats to me...they claim they have me on video tape getting a cash advance from money mart yet they can't tell me the check number that was used.  I have been doing some research on this company and have found out some very interesting things. Like the company has been dissolved and re invented quite a number of times.  The name H & P Capital Inc is a ficticious name that they registered in the state of Florida.  Whenever I call them back to get information the representative just hangs up on me. Its not like I am angry or anything because I have filed a civil lawsuit against them in the state of virginia for violation of the FDCPA.  Furthermore, the debt that they claim they are trying to collect on is more than 10 years old and the statute of limitations has run out on it in the state of virginia.
