Junk Fax promoter

It's the same old scam pretending to legitimize the spam business.

As soon as you "opt out" of the first one the sell your fax number to 500 hundred other spammers.

I just write vulgar comments on the back and fax it back to their voice line.

For you idiots asking them to stop sending faxes on here, it won't work.  It won't work calling them.  It won't work using their "fax removal" website or phone number.  These scumbag companies use another scumbag company to fax to everyone they can that way the company doing the actual faxing is supposed to be "responsible" for removing the fax number from their list, not the company that is listed on the junk fax.  

Different companies use this faxing service so you could get a variety of companies' scam faxes on any given day.  Only way to get them to stop for a brief time is to use the fcc's website.  Even then it only lasts a few months and/or the scam faxing company changes their phone/fax numbers/removal information.

Angery in PA--Thank you for the website to report unsolicited faxes to the FCC.  We are in AZ and receive all kinds of unwanted faxes to our home telephone.  Last week one came in at 2:28 AM waking everyone in the house.  I will continue to use your info to file a complaint with the FCC on every unwanted Fax we receive; and I am e-mailing the info to all of my family and friends as well.  Again, thank you.  It may not change anything, but at least I do feel as though I've done 'something' about it.

I get 3 or 4 unwanted faxes a week.  I am sick of it - I tried calling the unsubscribe number, faxing the unsubscribe fax number and now they want me to be silly enough to register on-line, probably to get my email address too!  I have reported several to the FCC - those that don't provide the required information on company name and call number.   Everyone needs to fill in those FCC complaint forms - maybe something will be done  !https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action?form_type=1088A

Check your sources guys, your identification of the owners of Nothx.net and ActiveCore are seriously incorrect and this is potentially damaging to the individuals named.  

I chased this issue down for a while due to similar frustrations, but whoever the idiot is on this thread that is naming individuals is completely off track (note that he's copied and pasted the same message into multiple chat boards).  Kevin Birch left ActiveCore in 2004, Geno Villella around the same time or within a year after.  ActiveCore was a POS penny stock that was taken over by spammers in 2005 / 2006, and Nothx.net was established as a fake opt out facility - of course it doesn't work, but legally they're covering their butts by having a facility like that in place.
