my fax machine has been running out of paper due to this number. I called on a Saturday morning to have my number removed, and was rerouted to a 101515800 number. When someone answered, he said he knew nothing about what was happening to me. He was rude, and hung up. I researched the number later, and learned that it is a scam. I will take up the issue with the phone company when the bill arrives.
One can block unwanted calls on a home phone. There should be legislation to allow blocking of unwanted faxes. Please contact your local and state representative. In this, of all, election years, it may help to be an issue.

Same junk faxes as everyone else.  Please file complaints with the BBB and FCC and do not call the removal number!  You will just end up on countless other spam fax lists.

Looks like the new number is 888-352-9682.  I'm posting it so Google searches will bring people here.  I've added our company fax numbers to the national and state Do Not Call lists, but these idjits still fax.  I've filed with the FCC and encourage everyone else to do the same.  Put your fax number on the www.donotcall.gov website, then file a complaint when your get the fax spam.

And may the fleas of a thousand camels infest the armpits of the scammers and thieves at Coral Bay Travel.

I have been saving these faxes in a file for reference in case anything comes of this with the FCC and BBB.  I recently reported these faxes to the FCC and they ask that you back up your complaint with proof.  If you have a folder big enough for all of your faxes I would suggest keeping them too!

I have been getting these annoying faxes for a long time. The phone numbers change but from the same people. It is a waste of paper, ink and the cartridges which translates into money. I saved seven of them in the last two weeks. If anyone finds a way of stopping them, let me know.

I, too, get these at least once a week.  Mine are from "Corporate Travel Department."  Anyone have a physical location for this company?  I would participate in a civil action and if discovery is available.  I disagree with the opinion that RICO would not apply - if theft and fraud can be established.  Each telephione rep can be held individually laible - can't claim they did not know what was happening.  That's why RICO is so powerful.

I called Coral Bay, Jennifer (sales rep? not the initial operator) said that they are NOT affiliated with Summer Bay.

Anyway, I have been calling Coral Bay (877-287-6950)a few times trying to get a solid website out of them... There is none. I, personally, would NOT untilize this company as they appear to me to be nothing but frauds that will probably steal your credit card info and give you a box to stay in for a couple of nights once you get there (that is... After paying your own airfair?).
If they send me another fax, I will call them back to waste both of our time as I am slightly amused by calling them. My next set up will be using Microsoft Sam to speak to them on speaker phone and record it.

I recorded the last call I had with them and informed them that the call was being 'monitored for quality assurance', they girl sighed angrily and reluctantly took my fax number as I asked her to remove us from their list.

It annoys me, though I'm having fun with calling them back.  :D

I've been getting these for years and its really starting to piss me off.  I run a small business out of my home and I will occasionally get orders for product faxed to me so I need to keep the fax machine.  The problem is that the ink for this thing is outrageous and I can't afford to keep buying new ones to receive mainly this crap.  So these crooks are costing me a lot of money on paper and ink.  I keep getting the Orlando vacation scams and the only difference is that their 877 number will change every once and awhile.  I just started saving the faxes in case there's any way to have them fined.  I swear, if I knew where to find these scumbags that I would go there and completely destroy them and I doubt if there are many judges out there who would give me much of a sentence.

Does anyone know if there is any new information on these douchbags?

We get these faxes every day.  We have not been able to uncover the source.  Someone needs to actually attend one of their scam vacation presentations to find out who they are. We are each entitled to $250 for EACH FAX under Federal Law.  If someone can identify them I would be happy to file a class action suit on behalf of everyone on their fax list.

Telemarketer
It never fails....I work out of my home and I travel, and I use one of the nicer fax/printer combo laser units (with a very expensive printer cartridge). Whenever I "inadvertently" leave the paper tray a little lean on paper, I'll receive a flood of these bogus faxes (vacation and healthcare solicitations), and then later (usually several days later) discover that a business client sent a legitimate - and usually very important - fax that I did not receive because the printer was out of paper. I can always retrieve the fax from memory, but this often causes a delayed response to my customer's request. More importantly, it's the principle of it. I did not give these solicitors permission, or to my knowledge, info to my fax number. I've called several times, and asked nicely to be removed from their distribution list, and like others are reporting, noticed an increase in incoming faxes. In fact, I have received the same fax two or three times in one day. Enough is enough. Please post any progress toward a Class Action Law Suit on this blog/forum, and count me in.

It is a common thing for fax spammers and email spammers to use an "Opt out" number to capture a "live" machine.  The thought is that if you can read the fax, they have a fax line and when you call in with that number to "opt out", you are really unknowingly and unwillingly providing your live fax number to a system that will spam it from other numbers.

i have repeatedly asked these people to take our fax number off their mailing list and they continue to send us SPAM! to top it off, this company says that these offers are being sent from our "Corporate Travel Department." This is a fraud and i know it's a fraud because we have no corporate travel department! i want to fax back a black sheet of paper, but no fax return # is provided. i called again today to ask them to pleaseEee stop faxing us because it does cost a lot of money for the faxes to come through. Their representative yelled at me and hung up on me!!! omg.

I'm a reporter looking into the faxes. So far, everyone on this blog objects to the faxes themselves. I'm more concerned with whether the offers made in the faxes are real, or part of a credit card scam.
So, has anyone ever actually gone on one of these vacations, or, has anyone ever had their credit card info misused by this company?
Are they just an annoying company pushing time shares or is there more going on?
Please contact me directly at msangiacomo@plaind.com if anyone has had any experiences.
Thanks,
Mike

I am an attorney licensed in Utah, Nevada, and Washington.  I am receiving these junk faxes, and I'm tired of them.  I've contacted the Florida Dept. of Agriculture, the agency responsible for regulating travel agencies in Florida, and requested assistance in identifying the company responsible.
I'd be delighted to file a class action against this company.

Please keep copies of all the faxes you receive and take notes of any telephone calls you make to them.  Do not record the call unless you are certain that you reside in a State where one party consent is all that is necessary to record a telephone call.  Please email me with your information at rspencerrobinson@yahoo.com.
