Who are these people really? I got a call on my cell phone from them asking me to verify my business telephone number. When I refused (for obvious security reasons) the person basically hung up on me.

This is no longer ARSI. It is now an American Express phone number... the number changed hands at the beginning of 2011.

Keeps living message that if you are such and such a person to stay on the line; otherwise to please ignore this phone call. The person they are asking for does not live in my home and we do not know this person. We have lived in our home for over 30 years. Well, for the several weeks, we have no ignored the call and not picked up the line. Despite this, they continue to call. Finally on Monday, I picked up the phone when they called and and told him to stop calling this house or I would report to the police. I was told to "go right ahead." The calls have now come daily and has reached the point of harassment.

It is ARSI, American Recovery Service Incorporated, their main office is in California. www.arsigroup.com is their website. Yes, they are a collections agency.

Received message to call Joyce Turner at this number. If they are debt collectors, I am on a program to renegotiate my debt and have sent them "cease and desist notes"
