This unprofessional TRG call center calls me as well. The DNC list did nothing. They still keep calling and leaving "Hello...hello...hello...click" voicemail. So freakin annoying! I'm calling the credit company they are selling for and telling them to cancel my card if they don't resolve this harassment issue. I told TRG i'm not interested and they still call some more!

They called and tried to cell promotions on behalf of Citi bank...

I get called several times a day and week.  It is harassment but sadly the Canadian Do Not Call List only applies to call centers in Canada.  If they are calling from over seas like India for example then sadly nothing can be done.

Don't want any more calls from this number - how can I stop them??

I really hate these people. I'm only 17 and do not have a credit card or an account of any kind with them, I put myself on the do not call list, guess I'll wait and see what happens.

I get a call on my Telus cell each day.  I called Telus and was told they want Telus customers to call them when they get this call. I was told Telus has a group of people working on it, because its a SPAM.

They kept calling, I answered and they asked for my husband, I asked who was calling and he would not give me the name of the company. He only spoke french and when I asked him to speak english, he told me to f-off and hung up on me.

Even if you put your phone # on the do not call list, companies that you do business with (i.e. MBNA credit cards, etc) can still call you. You have to ask them to remove you from their internal call lists

Received unknown call on my home fone from 1-877-288-1437.
Call went to voice mail, no message left, simple hang-up.
I am registered on the Canadian do not call list.

They call me several times a day. The first time I answered, and they asked for someone named Ian something. I said they had the wrong number. After they called again for the same person I just stopped answering.
SO ANNOYING!!!

The DNCL only applies to companies that you have ABSOLUTELY no previous relations with. If it is a company that you order any services from, or a company that is linked with them, they can call you. MBNA is linked with many different organizations and offers credit cards through many stores but you never see their name on the cards. It is possible that they do HBC/Future shop credit etc. If you want them to stop calling try canceling all of your credit services...

I called the phone number on the back of my MBNA card and asked them to take me off of the call list. They were friendly and did it right away. I suppose time will tell as to whether or not I will stop being harassed by these calls 14 times a day. I'll stay posted.

Call back identifies them as PRG. Definitely pros in Canada as they link the Canadian DNC listing. They asked for me by name indicating a CC company, possibly MBNA.

- Rocky is right - MBNA are a massive PITA. They are the bottomfeeders of the CC market. They hung up as it took more than 5 seconds to hand the call over to me.

So Iguess a company called PRG acting for MBNA.

These people have been calling me twice a day. If I answer it there is no one there and when I call them back it says it's from the TRG Canada Do not Call list and gives me the option to either put my name on the do not call list or to speak to someone but then I am never actually able to talk to anyone. How do I make them stop calling me?

They call all hours of the day.
According to my phones "missed calls" record, they have called 13 times over the past 3-4 days. Every single time, we either don't answer, or pick up to nothing. It's really frustrating because I would like to answer and give them a piece of my mind, but I would rather the calls just stop.

This number has been calling my phone for weeks; but I've never answered the call. I've called the number and it appears to be some company called "TRG" some telemarketing company. The call is all automated and gives option to have your number placed on their DNC (Do Not Call) list. I'll follow up if they don't comply.

Somewhere on any credit card terms of service you can find an opt-out clause.  Check with the 3 main credit bureaus and see what you need to do to opt out of credit card offers.  These flaming idiots can continue to harrass you until you opt out.

I have repeatedly told them to take me off their call list. They assure me they will and then  they all again.. I can't understand what they are saying most of the time but I know they understand ey when I say DO NOT CALL ME AGAIN.

I'm disabled and need rest. I can't ignore a long distance call as I have family living at a distance whose calls I do want to receive.

How does one stop them?

I've been called multiple times (at least 8 times in 2 days) by this number and want it to stop.  Noone is there when I answer the phone.

this number has called me every day this week and everytime i answer even on the 1st ring it hangs up. I am getting very annoyed.

I've been getting calls for ages from them, I finally put them on my blocked numbers list but it is still very annoying! All I can say is when my card expires I am not going to get another MBNA card!!!

Won't stop calling! Even when I'm not answering! Has called ten times this week! Never leaves messages either!

They have called me everyday for over 6 days now.  Pick up, nothing, then busy signal.  Try to call back, get machine that likely goes no where.  I WANT THIS STOPPED NOW!!!!!!!!!  They even call at 10PM!!!!!!!!!!  I have threatened legal action to no avail on their ridiculous machine.  I WILL START a CLASS ACTION SUIT FOR HARRASSMENT and use the hundreds of complaints off the inet for backup.  I have had ENOUGH.  FIX THIS NOW!
