Block the phone number either on your phone if you can or with your phone company provider.

These people are RUDE. They continue to call asking for people who don't live here. I have reported them, and they still continue to call. I got calls at 11:30 PM! How can they get away with this type of behaviour?

Does it occur to you "Big Dog" that the people they are calling have nothing to do with the people they are looking for?  I might have known someone with a similar name...25 years ago!  That doesn't mean I know them NOW!  This is a third rate debt collector that grasps at straws and harasses people who have nothing to do with any debt by any other person.

Just got this call and while I don't usually answer "toll free" calls, I have some business going on and so I did.  The 877 number should have clued me in!  Asked for "Elizabeth", I told them no such person here.  Then asked me if I know anyone by that name, answer, NO.  Then asked if anyone in my house knows an Elizabeth, again, NO.  Then asked me for "Elizabeth Rodriguez", answer, I don't know any Rodriguez's.  They kept fishing, answer was always NO!  I hung up and then I blocked them!  Best thing I ever bought was my Panasonic cordless phones (KX-TG7875) that block up to 250 numbers!!!!!!  You can also block the first ring so calls that are ultimately blocked, never even ring through once!  Well worth the $120 or so I paid for base unit, plus 4 satellite phones!!

two years later still getting calls from this number... answering and talking to these ppl does not help. but ignoring the call does not seem to help either..

wow talk about scammers trying to get your information. totally give them the wrong ssn. is it a crime to lie to telemarketers and scammers over the phone? it's none of their damn business what a person's SSN is. wow. the nerve.

We have received numerous calls from this number saying it is a personal matter and he could tell me if I give my full soc. number.

This number called me and I didn't answer.   About 5 minutes later my dad called me.  They had called his cell phone saying they knew that I had moved to MI from down south and that they have been trying to send me mail to some random address.   They wouldn't tell him what they wanted.

exactly the same with me. 3 years ago I told them I am not that person, and now it seems they re-acquired the debt and are trying again. Worthless bottom-feeders...

I don't owe anybody anything!  Stop calling me!  How DO we get rid of them?

I do not need calls from 877 2897108. I don't even know what they want. The person they ask for doesn't even live here.

This company called my house looking for someone by my same name.  Just a fishing expedition to collect money.  They had the wrong middle initial, last 4 of SSN, wrong DOB.  Just trying to collect some cash from unsuspecting people.

Rcvd a call tonight from "Tammy" asking me if I know who Gary Cox Jr is.  I informed her that iI have no idea who that is.  She asked me again if I was related to that person.  Again I said no.  She then stated that I needed to tell her if I know who this is and that I should know who it was since they used me as a credit reference.  Finally had to get rude with her and tell her that no one in my family has that name and maybe they need to bother someone else.

The best way to have these people stop is to pay your friggin bills!

This number keeps calling and they are VERY RUDE

I'm watching my caller id and the next time they call I'm gona use a air horn I bought and see how annoying I can be. I'm to old for these people to be calling for someone else. They want a play games I can to. It takes me a few rings to get to the telephone and I have told them the person is no longer in our family, I don't have any information and to take me off their call list, now I'm mad.

I keep getting calls for an  x-daughter-in-law. Who ever is calling sounds like they have a mouth full of mush and they leave messages on my answering service. The message is garbled and understandable.  You would think if they were born and raised in this country instead of Africa  they would be able to talk. I have my number on the Do NOT Call List and they still call.

This company called my husband's parents address asking to talk to my husband and told my mother in law that it was important.  When I called the number back because I wasn't home they asked me for my husbands ssn and birth date to confirm what they had on file.  Of course I'm not stupid, so I immediately said, "Well what social security number and birth date do you have?"  They kept asking me for it again after I said that and I told them, "That's not information I give out."  So I think they came up with some last four of a ssn and birth date and rattled  them off.  I said, "No, I think you have the wrong person."  That's not the correct information.  I already told them I would be contacting the BBB, so they better not call back if they know what's good for them.

Just received a very harrassing call from a Shekelia who stated that she works for Van Ru company and said that she was looking for a Nicole. I tried to proceed and tell her that Nicole did not work here, she would not accept this answer and continued to be very harrassing, rude and just down right nasty.   She said that she would not stop calling because obviously the number that she has is the number for this Nicole person and that we were lying to her.  This type of behavior is totally unacceptable from any type of business whether it is collections or not.

Got a call from 877 289 7108. how do I stop these calls

They are a collection agency; they will use all the tricks in the book to get any info from you, your family & friends. The collect for Student Loans among other things and are quite persistent.

They have called me at least 15 times over the last two months at WORK.  They ask if I am (Name) and if my SS ends in (xxxx).  I repeatedly have told them no.  It is not me.  Then they called and asked my coworker the same questions about me and she mistakingly said yes, not understanding the question.  They now dog me constantly saying they have a recording of a coworker confirming their information (even though it is not me).  They are abusive and surly and when I asked to speak with a supervisor they would not give me a phone number to reach him.  How do we stop this???

Get calls all day long from this number.  Call like 3 to 4 times in 5 minutes. Very annoying. I don't answer toll free calls and they never leave a message. low lifes. . .

I got a call and the guy said his name was ron calling for neededmy sister and said it was very important and they needed to talk and it was urgent and everything would be okay after they talked he did sound very rushed and worried but since it was an 877 number we looked it up I'm glad we did

I get the same calls asking for Jennifer Jones. This is no stop sometime 4 times a day on my cell phone. At first I thought someone was giving my phone number out but now I realized that it is a scam. Simply ignore their calls now.

The woman did not tell me who she was, called asking for a Jennifer Jones. I say sorry wrong number, Then she goes "do you know Jennifer Jones"? I say no I don't know anyone by that name. Then "are you sure you don't know anyone called Jennifer Jones." I tell her NO I don't but even if I did I wouldn't give you any information.
I am always getting calls and being asked for ppl I don't know..Its getting to be a bit to much.

This company calls my number non-stop for a person that does not live at my house.  I have told them there is no one here by the name they want, I have told them to put me on their do not call list......and still I get phone calls.  They are a debt collection company.
