Shame on me - I, too, was hit with the $19.95 charge on my CC on 10/2, but did not receive a phone call. However, I just NOW (April 2010) realized it when I was going through some past statements! I had ordered some lighting products so I must have just thought that is what it was at the time I rec'd my statement. I do order LOTs of things (mostly books from reputable sources) online and have never had any problems. I did try some skin care products -- from AG skin care and Resveratrol ultra about 6 months earlier and I see now that I had an additional charge from AG though I had canceled my "trial" well in advance of the deadline. I will follow up on that even though that was quite a while back. Now that I think about it, there were some online ads that were for AG and a teeth whitening product, as well as the Resv. supplement that I viewed at the time when I placed the AG and Resv. order.
I have called the number from e77toe77 8 Oct 2009 (877-296-1840). I did give the last 6 digits, and the computer "person" said I would receive a credit in 24-48 hours. We will see. I have had no other false charges show up in the past 6 1/2 months since then.
I wonder if enough people reported this that the charges stopped altogether???

I had the same thing happen to me, I was charged on 10/01 called automated, the money was put back into my account just to be charged again on Nov. 13. I am going to call my CC company and see if I can get another account.
redmaple 2009-12-11 02:37:36 Unknown
I got the charge too on 09/29. I did not notice until Dec.10 and I cancelled the card.
BS Justice 2009-12-04 00:01:21 Unknown
We got the same charges on our account and can't believe a company can get away with this type of fraud... I hope justice will be served so all of us can get our $19.95 charge back... I hope this doesn't happen again.

Called from 877-296-1840 and had charge come up on my citibank mastercard acct for $19.95. We did not order anything from this "Lumineswhite". I called the number and put in a request for a credit but couldn't get through to a rep and had to put in my last 6 digits on my acct number to get a refund that claims to be coming back to me in about 3 weeks. The automated voice said to keep the Lumineswhite as a "gift". I will be watching for anymore charges on my phone, meanwhile disputing the charge on my credit card bill!
beatle64 2009-11-22 16:41:58 Unknown
me too...the same thing....will be watching for credit to my account!
Catlow 2009-11-18 15:01:00 Unknown
I did order products from Amino Genesis--now the number for Lumines is not in order. I shut my Visa acct down so this wouldn't happen again and I'm not ordering any more products on-line. So far my Visa acct has not been credited, either.

I also got charged 19.95 on 10/01/09. What is the deal? How did these people get our credit card numbers if we didnt order this product? I am so angry over this and hope that it doesnt turn out to be a nightmare.
Debra 2009-11-15 13:11:10 Unknown
Same happened to me..bank doesn't seem to concerned..this transaction is definitely fraud and should be handled as such..
Blckindianqueen 2009-11-13 19:52:40 Unknown
I have also found charges on my credit card from this Lumines White company. I have two numbers for this company one is 602-324-3959 this number is disconnected and the other number I have is 877-96-1840 and you can not get in contact with anyone, there is just a recording asking you to put in the last 6 numbers of the credit card used, and if you dont u will be disconnected immediatley. *******BEWARE******* Please check all of your credit card statements.

I got charged 19.95 for from this company and now my credit card company as well as the Better Business Buereau and the Chandler, AR police department are investigating. This has to illegal and someone needs to shut this buinsess down.
Stacy 2009-11-06 19:57:21 Unknown
I don't ever remember receiving a call from this number but it was listed on my credit card stmt along with a charge for $19.95 from Lumines White on 9/30. I definitely did not order. My Credit Card company is reversing the charge.
CF in Texas 2009-11-06 16:58:18 Unknown
Also found a mysterious charge for 19.95 from LUMINESWHITE on my credit card, had same experience as many reported above - I will ask my credit card company to dispute it.
cford 2009-11-04 17:27:59 Unknown
I got charged on 10/1 also. When calling the number 602-324-3959 it says it's a nonworking number. Has anyone figured out who this is? I've contacted my bank but they can't tell me either.
Passion 2009-11-03 15:13:23 Unknown
The same s*** happened to me. I immediately called my bank and had the situation handled. I spoke to someone at the dispute department and told them what happened. Yet I called the number as well and got no one. I canceled my card and issued another one, so those sly b*****ds don't charge me again. Get into the habit of combing your statement when you place orders online. These companies try to be sly on us.
Chris 2009-11-03 06:13:01 Unknown
People, you have GOT to cancel that card. I know, it's a pain in the a## but if you don't you risk having further bogus charges from these people and the others they sell your number to. I got my new card in a little over a week, not too long a wait. To get anyone to look into this you must report it as FRAUD to your bank or credit card issuer. Their people investigate and will also report to the FBI. I had to go to my bank and fill out a fraud report that was then notarized.
I don't know who was told that they can charge you new number, but that is wrong! If that were true then what is the sense in canceling your card?
They cannot get your new number because they have the old one. There is not a referral like you can get when you change your telephone number.

I too received a charge on my credit card from Lumines White. I have not ordered any of the amino genesis products as mentioned above. I will not give my credit card number for a refund as the recording suggests. I was so dumbfounded that I went to the internet to see if I could get another contact number. I had no idea that this is what I would find. I hope someone can get to the bottom of this.

LAMET 2009-11-02 17:02:30 Unknown
how to avoid this scam and how it works
1. CHECK THE INTERNET FOR COMPLAINTS FIRST!
2. There is no free product - just a trial period to try it out.
3. Read the terms and conditions on the website BEFORE you still filling out forms - some sites capture the data you entered even if you never click on submit (THEY RELY HEAVILY ON CONSUMERS NOT READING THIS FIRST)
4. READ THE Terms and Conditions FIRST this is where they tell you
A Once the trial period ends - you will be charged for your original order and at what price monthly.
B. Tells you the trial period starts the day you order it not when it is received.
C. Tells you that product will be automatically shippped and billed to your account monthly.
c. Tells you how to cancel - (yes I know they make it very difficult to cancel it)
READ THE PRIVACY POLICY - This tells you that they SHARE your information with others - meaning an increase in SPAM emails and phone calls

I have been billed $19.95 on my Visa by Lumineswhite!? Dated 10/05. the phone number listed is incorrect. the only numbers shown on my account are 877296 & 602-324-3959. I did not place any type of order. C. Baker

My credit card was charged amounting to $19.95 too. This is a scam! I cancelled their product less then a week from ordering it, because I do not want to be charged monthly. And they did charged me, without authorizing it! Company's name is Lumines White, that teeth whitening product. If you call their Customer service its an automated machine, no live person to speak with. Obviously this is a SCAM!!!
Linda 2009-10-27 14:06:12 Unknown
I got charged on 9/19 and called on 9/30 and requested a refund (they ask you to key in your last 6# of your cc, they obviously already have it so I did.) I NEVER DID RECEIVE A REFUND SURPRISE, SURPRISE!!! I called my bank and they are giving me a "courtesy refund" and they said the company can charge it again because they already have an authorization on file... I asked if I closed that card and opened one with a different number and she said they still can charge it... I told her I bet they can't charge it if I close my charge card completly and she said that was my option... so... I am closing my credit card.... WHAT A STINKIN' FRAUD!!!

I also have a chase visa CC only!!!! I recieved my statement & had this same charge when I called Chase they put me on hold & came back & stated they had spoke with the company & the charge would be refunded to my account in 24 to 48 hours and they would send me a dispute form within 7 to 10 business days. So when I got off phone from them I called the 877 # which you cant speak to a person!! So I called back & closed my CC account & the lady told me that even though I closed my account they may still charge my account!! What kinda BS is that??? Who knows our CC co may be the scammers!!! The lady at Chase was very defensive when I ask her if I am closing my account someone else can still use it so does that mean I can go shopping @ Wal Mart still?? Whats the difference???

What number did you call to talk to someone? I was charged $19.95 and when I called the number 602-324-3959 it said the number wasn't in service.
Dale 2009-10-23 20:31:00 Unknown
Got charged on 10/03, for $19.95 on credit card. I did not make this purchase, and I'm disputing it with my credit card company.
cac 2009-10-23 12:04:49 Unknown
I too have the same story, but instead of calling the 877 # I called my credit card comapny and they are reversing the charge, sending it back to Luminies White and blocking any futher charges.
Debbie 2009-10-22 19:18:00 Unknown
On 10/5/09 there was a charge on my bank statement for $19.95. I called today and had item cancelled and was told by the recorded message that I will be receiving a credit to my account within 48 hours. I could not get a hold of a real person but I finally gave the credit card information that was being requested in order to cancel the order.
Csunset 2009-10-22 02:18:10 Unknown
I've experienced the same EXACT thing as everyone who's posted on this site. Thankfully, the word is getting out about this $19.95 charge from Lumineswhite 977/296-1840
