They send you letters in the mail about your warranty.  Once you call everything starts to feel not right.  If you start asking questions they cant answer them..... called my credit card company right away.  Once I told the Motor Vehicle Services that I was not interested and it sounded like a fraud, they tried calling me back 7 times that evening and tried charging my credit card 4 times  Each time the amount went a bit smaller as to try and get the credit card company to approve.

Christen and Tyler are very rude.  Personally, I believe its a scam.  If they want my money they should try being a lot nicer.  How do you extend a warranty on a car that has a warranty for the life of the loan?????  I received several letters from them request I call.

I am an attorney that is researching issues related to companies sending extended auto warranties/vehicle service contract solicitation letters. If you have received such a letter, which included information about a vehicle that you own, or have owned in the past few years, that includes the actual make.model and year of your vehicle, please send me a copy of the letter. I am gathering info at this time for research only to outline all the companies doing this, and the states in which they have sent letters. I am investigating the source of the data that is used to make up the mailer. Please email any additional documents received, notes about any telephone call, and contact me. All information and discussions shall remain confidential. I have been posting this info for general info and as an Attorney advertisement.

In order for you to understand my interest/work, and to provide material for you to understand issues involved in these matters, I have included materials for your review below. I note though that most data obtained to use for the mailers by these companies are obtained from legal sources.

They send us junk mail and call our cell phones frequently.  My daughter just got one of their "official notices" today.  They are barking up the wrong tree.

Obviously you are very naïve or perhaps you are a participant in this scam (lol).   I am not giving away my hard earned money.  Sure, they will "extend" your factory warranty, but when something goes wrong do not expect it to be covered.  I ignore these people all the time because they seem to call our cell phones and send us their junk in the mail.   They are barking up the wrong tree ... lol!

Linda - Check your definition -
A fraudulent business scheme; a swindle.

tr.v. scammed, scam·ming, scams
To defraud; swindle.
This company puts Motor Vehicle Services in the title, states that Immediate response is "Required" and tries to trick people into signing up for coverage that has hundreds of loopholes that they use to not pay out.  That is a SCAM

scam (noun): a confidence game or other fraudulent scheme, especially for making a quick profit; swindle

My "responsible reply" is that the stories of the company's conduct fit the above definition well. I note that your browbeating is like that heard from your phone reps whenever people ask them intelligent questions. Making an informed purchase decision, and trying to warn others away from thieves, is quite the opposite of "careless".

"You must be someone from another company or something. It's almost like you have a personal vendetta. Go bash companies somewhere is. This is a site for information. You're abusing it. Don't you have anything else better to do?"

That's a good one! Tamianth is a regular here, YOU are not. Many of us here do have a personal vendetta against scammers. They make our phones ring every day with the same tired lies. Did you read all of the posts on this thread from people who have gotten burned by the company at the other end of this number??

You probably hear them every day. Today is slow so your cigar chomping boss told you to Google the number that your company spoofs and raise some doubts about your scamminess.

It's time for the Mods to check a few IP addresses and slap down the BUSTED stamp.

I'm sure your boss told you to just respond to whatever negative comments you see, but common sense should tell you that replying to old posts such as this one, Claude, Linda, Steven, Gladys Peters, john, Jenna et al, will just prove how fake you really are. And all within the same hour too?

Must be a slow day in ScamVille.

Boo hoo hoo. You're just pissed that your scam got called out here. Whining about it only shows that 1) It is indeed a scam; and 2) this site is hurting your business so much that you have to come here and do damage control. Don't run with the anti-scam wolves when you're a sickly sheep with two broken legs or you'll get devoured, and very deservedly so. Actually, it's great that you come here to piss and moan, as every shill message is more confirmation that you're pathetic, desperate scammers.

I searched the missed call I had and found this site. My payment didn't go through because I got a new card and that is why I'm assuming they called me. I can assure you that my coverage I purchased is indeed real and not fake as your post reads. I have gotten things fixed on my vehicle with their coverage. That would obviously not be the case if the policies were fake. I also don't know what you're talking about when you say people think it's a DMV? It's pretty common knowledge that you don't get extended warranty from a DMV so why would anyone pretend to be the DMV. Your accusations don't make sense. I find it almost comical all of the negative posts on here that don't make any sense. I felt that I just had to respond to your post as you have made like 4-5 posts yourself on here. What's your beef?

You called to inquire about purchasing something and they gave you a price. That's what happens when you inquiry about purchasing something. You didn't have the money so that makes the company a scam? Bahahahaha! What are you even complaining about?

How does one throw "work" around?  Do you write down a bunch of jobs like "clean the crapper", "sweep the poop deck", put them in a top hat and then dump the contents all over the floor, thus throwing work around?
