Contact your attorney general and hire a lawyer. This company is a rip off scam. They are not legitimate. The owners are former felons operating behind the scenes trying to appear legitimate. They all were previously convicted and did time for telemarketing fraud now they are trying to rip off people collecting on out of statute debt and unverified purchased debt. Hey you, ya you, the one calling someone a hotdog.  By law the collection agency or pondscum, are allowed to call your place of employment and third parties only one time. They are BY LAW,  only allowed to ask your place of employment if you work there, and to get verification of an address and phone number. Nothing else is allowed BY LAW AGAIN, to be discussed. As far as contacting third parties one time. Don't try to BS me, I filed a complaint with BBB, AG, FTC AND INTERNET FRAUD AGENCY. It is really funny once they got in touch with the company, they have backed off completely.
They must provide you with proof of a debt and a physical address.

I can't believe they are trying to do this after filing Chapter 7 bankruptcy, they are going to regret it.

Look their is no court case... Look into your county... Their is no process server they dont call you to tell you their coming if they can't serve the papers you can't go to court. They dont have an attorney to file against anyone it cost more to file then what you owe, because they have to retain an attorney in your county to sued you.. This people are not in your same state. They call from private lines saying they are a cop, sheriff, or process server, they are mis representing them selves. if u ever get a call from this people record everything they tell you n used it against them. So you scum bags get a better job.

Hey Topdog, It is common practice for collection agencies to contact possible associates and relatives of debtors.You just admitted knowing the person they were looking for so it is apparent they did a quality job in trying to locate the debtor.It is sad that America has become a place where relatives harbor there non bill paying relatives to protect them from having to pay for services they have used or goods they have obtained.

Hey, Jimmy not every one that they are calling is the deadbeat that is not paying their paying their bills. My family is of no relation to the one they are calling about just the same last name and oh yea the deadbeat lied about her parents saying we were her parents. She was in foster care with another family member. just saying don't paint everyone getting those harassing calls with the same brush i would love to strangle this girl(the deadbeat) if i could find her.

My Mother 1000 miles in another State has been getting harassing call from these people also.. I have told her DO NO TALK to them or call them back. For some reason she really thinks I'm in trouble and will be going to jail.. When I called the number and told then to quit calling and harassing her,, they actually hung up on me. Pain in the behind!!!

i was contacted as well, but it was regarding a payday loan i just forgot to pay..worked with a guy there. he helped me take care of this. and its all done. thanks.

They took me to court!!!!!!! I received calls from this number over and over again and they even called my family back in July. I had called this company back and was informed of what was going on> I spoke to a person named Kelly Wagner..She informed me of what was going on and I told her that I was NOT going to take care of any check> I now owe 2,987.00 ..I had to get a lawyer and I am still in the progress of getting this resolved! I called Upstate Management back..and they can no longer work with me> My lawyer has contacted them and hopefully she can get this taken care of for me.

I also received a message from these people saying that I used a person in my household as areference(who would do that?), it would be in their BEST INTEREST TO CALL THEM CHRIS AT Upstate Management).  When I returned the call, I was yelled at before I had achance to speak by some little teenage girl threatening with the authorities!!!   I am under the protection of bankruptcy, so I called my law office to intervene, I still got called twice(private name and number) but no threatening message this time!  Somebody needs to report them, I agree!!!

I have been getting messages from this 877 # for awhile.   They are asking and leaving threatening messages for someone that does not live here.  They called the other day and said they would be serving a summons.  Who in their right mind calls and says this, they don't.  
Allen, if we find out who they are, which I know we will, I will join in the lawsuit with you.  It's an horrible experience.  These people need to get a job like the rest of us and earn their money the honest way.

I too am receiving calls from both 877 297-7557 and 888 222-4227. They left me a threatening voicemail that if they did not hear from me they would take further action. They even provided a case number and made reference to my SS# and driver's license number. I have a truck finaed through them and am 2 payments behind...,,,,,They are relentless!!! They also call my cell constatntly and my job number even after I told them I could not receive these calls at work. I would love to sue their BUTTS!!! I have been paying for this truck for 5 years...,,,,I have 6 payments left...,,,,GOOD GRIEF!!!

Litigation officer contacted me about a civil situation that was pending with Chesterfield County, it was referring to my bank that i was with from 2 years ago.  I was unaware of situation, and needed to pay with surcharge to handle without preceding in court.  This could happen if you had switched your banking through years.  Thanks

This is a SCAM.  They call from different #'s on caller id and wait a few months.  Then call again..Like a list is circulating.  Plus by LAW they cannot contact and harrass family members or friends.  If they do, tell your family and friends to report them to the police as well.

If you get calls from this number or this # is left on your voicemail do this: Contact the authorities and filed a report...If these folks want to waste their time calling let them..NEVER ANSWER and keep good track record of the messages, save them all and provide also to the police.  This way it shows how many times they continue to call your place of employment or home residence.  This is a LIE and don't fall for their tactics..Never be afraid of receiving a summons...Summons is a good way to find out if their legite..If not, they never want it to go to court.  You will never be continously harrassed if something is really going to court.  You will receive BY CERTIFIED mail all documents and verification of what is going on. These folks never identify their company, and use fake names..normally famous names.  Give them a dose of their own medicine, but I advise ignore it.  The authorities will soon find them and shut them down.  Rule #1: BY Law you cannot be notified by phone.  There has to be written documentation especially for a court ruling.  What these folks don't realize is if you have LifeLock and other forms of keeping track of your records and your credit report, you know what is out there in your name.  Plus CheKSystems also have information. If you really have bad checks etc..they will have that on file...DUH!! These folks must be high schoolers...if they think ppl will fall for their tactics.  It is ILLEGAL!
