Received this call to our office BACK LINE (PRIVATE#).
When I picked up, the call disconnected. I called back, and after a few rings it sounded like dead air. I said "Hello" twice, then a man spoke up and said "Can you hear me?". I said YES. He said "who am I speaking with?" I said "This is Jessica, I got a missed call from your number". He said "If you are getting a missed call from us, it means your home is eligible for Uverse. Have you ever heard of Uverse?". I let him know this is a business number and we use business-class services. He said he would remove our number so we don't get bugged again and he hung up. We'll see.

I receive a call from this number at least once per day.  When I answer, no one responds.  Very Pesty.

 Finally, after my hello 3 times, the guy speak up. Said he is from AT&T and he will help me with some information...

  I asked him if he know what # he is calling into. He said he had no idea. Told him that this is a
office # that we got more than 30K employees and don't ever call again!!

  Told him that AT&T got bad reputation for this and I am goona cut off my AT&T service at home and move to something else.!!

  'DON'T EVER CALL AGAIN'  and I just hang up.....

As you can see AT&T would rather spend resources on guerrilla marketing campaigns than offer a better service, or deal. They hire anyone, and everyone, and they will tell you anything to sign you up. They gave us a straight up fake price, and we signed up only for the bill to be much more than they promised.
They call me several times a week still.

Same as everyone else is getting....annoying non stop even if you are on do not call list.  HOWEVER...I have a voice announce phone so I program the number in and for the voice announcement  I yelled "DORKS!".  So if my phone rings and it says "dorks!" I don't answer it.

I decided to call the number to get off their call list: turns out my prior message above was incorrect:  My caller ID said "Columbia House."  But the person I called said they were from AT&T selling services.  BAD AT&T.  BAD.

Caller is Columbia House, an order house for DVDs and digital music recordings. They are probably illegally calling you and should be reported to the FTC Do Not Call, via a Complaint:  https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/.

I called the number.  Esther from AT&T answered.  I hung up.

They have called me twice in one day so far.  "Unavailable" on the caller ID.  I don't answer.  They don't leave a message.

This number calls my home at least 7 times a day as late as 9:00pm at night. I have an answering machine so I never talk to them, but I researched this number & they use Columbia House as a front for their real name of AT & T.   They used to stop at our home every couple of days or so and my husband finally told them he was going to report them to the local better business burea.  They have not stopped back, but their phone calls have doubled.  They are very annoying and the one serve I have with At & t will be canceled as soon as I'm able.  I will not deal with a company that promotes this type of business practice.  I hope everyone stops paying At & T.

They call two or three times every day, but no one ever says anything. I am on do not call lists and should not get this. The Caller ID identifies it as Columbia House.

This number is continuing to call my home.  I have Comcast and can block the number from ringing.  Just out of curiosity, I decided to continue to check when they call, because even though it is blocked, you can see it.  I could not believe it.  They have called me 25 times in the last 2 weeks.  I am going to send a certified letter to ATT and send them a copy of this log and tell them to cease and desist or they will be hearing from me suing them in court.

They have been calling me several times a day for the past 2 weeks. Caller ID says Columbia House, which I thought was odd. I also am on the Do Not Call List. I know that they can be sued for harassment especially if you are on the Plus if they prefer not to change the ID on the line, I would think that was fraud. Do Not Call List.

I have been receiving calls every day sometimes 3 times a day for the last week from these people.It says Columbia House on the caller ID.Well this morning I finally had the opportunity to answer the phone and it was AT&T offering service discounts because they are now set up in my area.I told the lady I wasn't interested and she said," Why is it because of the service or the price?...I told her that they have already done door to door soliciting and surveys.I am happy with the provider that I have she went on to talk.I said," I don't know whether it's the service or the price because you've offered me information on either one.She said," well this is a recorded call and I said," Your point???/ Please don't call back here again!!!Fed up with these idiots calling all hours and I am on "The Do Not call list!!

I have had seven calls in the last week, all from Columbia House, saying they are calling for AT&T. I answer the phone to inform them I am on the Do Not Call list, and take me off their calling list. It does no good. They call early and late, and I am really getting angry. This is almost harassment. I will report this to the Atty General in Michigan.

I've been receiving this call indicated by Caller ID as from "Columbia House" but when I called it back to report that my phone number was on the Do Not Call list, he said Columbia House is no longer in business but that he never changed the ID.  He said he was calling about AT&T.  I said I was not interested.  He said, "How do you know you aren't interested when I haven't told you yet what this is about?"  Annoying and, interstingly, he called me by my first name without my giving it.  He said it would take 30 days to remove my number from his list and I might get additional calls in that period.  Sure enough, I got another this afternoon.  I doubt that AT&T is getting any good PR out of this.

I don't believe it was a scam, because he called my line at work. I politely informed him that this was a place of business, and he replied that he would take my direct line off his list.
